No experience with dry cleaners, however I have tried to get ahold of them. I left numerous voicemails to no avail which is why I have no hesitations leaving a poor review. I've heard the family who owns the two businesses has recently passed it down, or a new family has recently taken over or something, but that is no excuse to treat customers extremely poorly. The machines here are gross, your items will likely be lost or damaged here, and you will definitely waste your money here.

I have been a customer at this Laundromat for almost 2 years. I usually go once or sometimes twice…read morea week. I am always polite and respectful. The female staff is very professional. But I do have valid complaint regarding the manager who also owns the business. Today I did my laundry in an older machine. It's at the back row and 4.00. Because it was very busy , it was the only machine available, so I put it xtra clothes in the machine. This is the only time I have done this. I'm not the only customer who has done this and I most likely won't be the last. After loading the machine I went to sit outside , and then when I returned , the lid of the washer was up. The manager was at the sink and instead of saying to me, "Excuse me miss but you put too many clothes in the machine. Please don't overload next time". But he proceeded to communicate to me in a very condescending way, that was rude, and belittling, and rolling his eyes at me like I am completely stupid. Then he proceeded to tell me that the engine of the machine was giving off an unpleasant odour can't I smell it, and it's ruining the machine. And because of me the cost of doing laundry goes up for everyone. ( lol... all because of me heh lol) There was no odour. That machine is used over and over again, so for me overloading , is not going to be my fault. So then I asked him if it's ok if I put the lid down of the washer, so the wash could finish, there were 4 minutes left. He replied " Oh... what are you trying to ask me now?", in a snitty rude arrogant voice. Then he says " Oh and that's not washing." and rolls his eyes , shakes his head and rudely walks away. He also said that my clothes would be soaking wet when I take them out. My clothes were washed My clothes were not soaking wet. This was a very humiliating way to be treated. On the rare occasion a sweat stain on a collar didn't come out the first time, they'd run it through again and there was never a problem. I don't dress formally as often now so, after a few years away, I returned with four dress shirts. One came clean the first time through. They took the other three back to run through again. Another came clean with the second effort. Left the remaining two. One came mostly clean the third time and I figured it was close enough but the fourth was still not right. They ran it through once more. This time it returned, still not clean, with this little love note: "We will NOT re-clean this shirt again. This collar with NEVER COME CLEAN. Cleaned 5 times!! Perhaps you could try another cleaners that are more to your satisfaction." It was signed "RB, owner". No apology. No phone call, though I'd left my number and asked for the manager to call after the third try. No offer to refund for the shirt that didn't come clean. RB, the owner, need not worry about me returning. That will never happen.

She made offered to steam press the rugs. When we picked up the rugs and brought them home.They are still wrinkled and destroyed. I would not recommend this. business.

Though it was coin laundry, you can ApplePay and they will give you the necessary coins, $1 CAD for detergent, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. FINALLY!! So thankful to have a bright and clean laundromat in Ferndale! The owner was super helpful with setting up the app (one of the easy options to pay) and the machines are state of the art. Free WiFi was nice to have as well. The only downside was that it seems that several customers had zero control over their toddlers but that's not the fault of the establishment. read more

Ferndale Laundromat is amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They were kind and very supportive during the Coronavirus. I was part of a group that homemade cloth masks. Ferndale Laundromat let us use them as a completed masks drop off and supply pick up. Then they would wash and sterile the masks and bags them ready for distribution. Thank you read more

I come up from Bellingham because Ferndale Laundry is SO clean. And so well managed. The staff is extraordinary helpful and always available and happy to help. AND having a super clean and available bathroom is huge as well. Many many machines with good space between and lots of folding tables. AND great parking. 15 out of 10 to the staff and business. read more

I've brought vintage wool men's blazers, velvet blazers, a fine Italian wool long cardigan and all were cleaned beautifully. The customer service is absolutely fantastic. The men's blazer had one of those leather woven buttons missing and they relocated a button on the blazer to help fill the missing button. A couple of weeks later, I got a call and one of the employees had found a couple of vintage buttons at a local shop and got them for me! I went to pick them up and they insisted there was no charge or repayment for the buttons. Amazing. I love the "your cleaning is ready" texts and the friendly front counter staff. The prices are reasonable especially for the chemical-free consideration. I am a absolutely a customer for life.

Since I have not picked them up yet, I cannot say anything about the quality of dry cleaning. So, my rating is based on the service and the price. Service: The service was quick and pleasant. They send you a text with your order details. So, you don't have to worry about keeping an order slip. Pricing: I was shocked that the total for an overcoat and a scarf came to $30 plus tax. $25 for the coat and $5 for the scarf. I've dry cleaned the same coat at different dry cleaners, but I don't remember ever paying $25. So, I did search online for average dry cleaning prices in the US. Multiple sites cite $12~$25 for an average cost for a coat. So, it seems their pricing is not outrageous but is on the higher end. Conclusion and Recommendation: I probably would not use them again, but if I end up using them, I would request an estimate via Yelp first.
