The story ends well though, with us finding IBEX and a first phone call that started with Ricky saying, "So tell me about this window project. What is your home like, and what are you hoping for?" After that first conversation I felt calm and like I had finally found what I was looking for - someone who could take it from here. We hired IBEX to replace 29 windows in our home. Our house was built in the 1930s but the windows were aluminum and probably installed in the 1970s. We knew when buying the home in 2020 we'd need to replace them, but after one year of holding them open with books, ice inside, condensation that caused the paint to warp on every sill, and one that straight up leaked when rain blew in from the west, we decided in early 2022 it was time. We are so thankful we found Ricky and Raymond at IBEX and took the leap. We easily trusted them and their recommendations. The windows were installed to perfection, even though upon removing the old ones, we found that the wood had warped and rotted, and the wood had to be replaced and the windows had to be rewrapped. I can't say enough about how it was all done perfectly, with no issues, at a very fair price, by great people. We love supporting this local OKC business and highly recommend IBEX. I am happy to share more of our decision-making process and before/after photos with anyone considering them for their project.

The keyed-lock flip handle is so much easier to operate than the lock on our previous patio door. We had to replace the rollers on our previous other-brand door several times over 30 years. Having the Thermal Windows Inc lifetime limited warranty which will cover the rollers being replaced, if necessary, is a real comfort as husband is no longer able to make those kinds of repairs. It took nearly 3 months to get the custom-made door built and installed. The door screen was delivered ripped and a tiny part, the Charlie saddle was broken which took another month to replace. It has now been over a month since installation was final and the door operates very smoothly and all components appear top quality. We are happy with door and service. Long term satisfaction is what is important to us.

As for price, that's going to depend on the size of your project and a whole bunch of different variables. Personally, I had three of the national, premium custom-made window, replacement companies come out and one regional company to quote the price. In my case as of doing this project. I found window world to be very competitive in their pricing, especially considering their excellent lifetime warranty. After I ordered the office staff kept me up-to-date on where my windows were within the manufacturing process. My new windows arrived at their facility well within their stated/estimated timeframe. When the installers arrived at my house, direct employees of window world, not independent contractors, or people they just hired for the day. Wes, Travis and David were great just like Garrett and the gentleman that came out to do the fine measurements for manufacturing. They were professional, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. Caleb came out to measure Windows and apparently measured wrong according to the installer. Because of Caleb's negligence, they had the audacity to call and request $500 more because of his mistake. Installation was so poor, that Alan had to send another crew of guys to come fix some things. This is not to mention the extreme water damage done to my bathroom, due to poor installation done by this same crew, or the inside damages done during old window removal.
