It's so easy to mess up your mouth - and I've been there with shitty dentists several times in my life. So, these days I follow the recommendations of trusted friends to find new dentists and other providers. So glad I followed Michelle C's wise advice to see Dr. Karam! I've had root canals, cavities galore, etc. done over the years. When I had two root canals done a few years back, the woman scared me half to death and left me in tears after telling me that my roots were so curved, a root canal might not work and I might lose the teeth... WTF? Nice bedside manner lady. Meanwhile, my teeth were fine. Dr. Karam is so incredibly nice and makes you feel utterly at ease. A rare quality in a dentist. He was concerned with costs for me (another rare quality!) and was sooooo overwhelmingly positive about everything he said. I was bracing myself for terrible news, but there wasn't any. He handled the discussion of my issues qith ease, so I didn't feel like the world was coming to an end. Seriously, probably the best dentist appointment I've ever had. I go back in a couple weeks to have a wisdom tooth pulled, and I'm almost looking forward to it! Highly recommend Dr. Karam. Thanks Michelle. :)

I decided to give her a try for myself, and her whole staff was amazing. Dr. C then took the time to talk through my xrays with me and address any concerns. Even having not ever known my dental history, you could tell she knew what she was doing and looking at in my mouth. Her team took their time explaining all the good and bad points of my situation to me and answered all my probing questions. The cleaning provided afterwards was probably the best cleaning I've ever had, conventional or holistic, my mouth was completely made over after and she educated me every step of the way on what she was doing and why. My husband received his cleaning from Robert and said it was amazing, I got my cleaning from the doctor and the results were outstanding, I will say her style was a touch rough but I also did not say anything I'm sure she would have gone easier if I brought it up. I take part responsibility for my discomfort. Having said that, I am 100% going back to Dr.Cintron, the quality of care is outstanding and she is highly educated in holistic dental care.

Many times being able to speak your language is comforting in the dentist's office. As far as the cleanings are concerned, Gina took her time and did a thorough job. I enjoyed the fact that she had comforting words throughout the procedure to keep you mind off what is going on in your mouth! Lotte is such a sweetheart and very professional when it comes to the financial end. I am mentioning last and least that the Smile Studio offers extremely quality work so expect to remunerate them fairly for the outstanding work of art which they perform. My last comment is--Are you worthy of being a patient of theirs? I am sure you are and your smile will thank you, giving you the confidence you need in your life.

My coordinator, James Smith was very helpful explaining the process and assured me a wonderful outcome. Surgery was booked for six weeks later. I was very surprised on surgery day that my surgeon was a woman and not Dr.Taskonak. All the reviews I read were about Dr.Taskonak and they were stellar. I knew nothing about this woman. Two days following my surgery I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a bacterial infection directly caused the surgery. I spent six days hospitalized and miserable. The dental practice assumed no responsibility for this. Since my surgery it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I went through three sets of temporary teeth due to breakage and chipping. Screws and fillings continued to fall out. Once receiving my permanent teeth, they are improperly fitted, (too narrow) for my mouth, they are missing my rear molars and extremely painful. Dr.Taskonak examined my mouth and agreed these are incorrectly fitted and has ordered a new set of permanent teeth for me. Due to internal problems with the dental practice and the corporation that owns it, my new teeth are on hold, indefinitely. The office staff has cancelled my appointments while telling me lies. They are holding my teeth hostage, which I paid for in full and this has become one of the worst decisions I have ever made. May I strongly suggest you do your research before going here or any implant center. I am now in excruciating pain on a daily basis and very upset with my outcome.
