I was there and a little old humpback lady with a Hyundai was there for an oil change. They charged her $150 some dollars for an oil change and two wiper blades. I felt sorry for the little old lady, she complained about the price, but to no avail. I had a quote from one of their competitor across the street from them for $115 quote for work on a European car but they would not accept walk-ins, and wanted me to drop the car off the next day. It was my wife's car and she needed it back, so I went across the street to Accurate. They did the work and diagnostic and charged me more than double the price of the competitor across the street who works strictly on European cars. Their work is okay, but slow as hell and every customer that was there during my recent stay was vastly overcharged, including me. Lesson learned, they will never see me again

They ran a $100 diagnostic on it which they insisted was necessary to determine anything about my car. Well, the check engine light came on, so I took it to a mechanic I trusted. I had used Alpha & Omega before and they did good work on my radiator for an honest price and in efficient time. This time they searched the emissions test failure code on the internet, took a five minute look over the car and told me my TPS sensor was malfunctioning. The part only cost $95, so it was less than the diagnostic from the other guys! The part was immediately ordered and my car was back on the road in about three hours!

I let him know that I was running a little late, but that I'd be ready 11:15 or sooner. That's when he said he would be a little late too, but didn't give me a time or confirm that he received the address. So I texted again to ask if he needed more time. He didn't respond until 12:15 to say he had an emergency and that he'd be able to come to me at 2:30. It's likely, the "emergency" was another repair job, even though I was booked at 10. He finally showed at 2:05, and truthfully he was nice and jumped right to work. Did some troubleshooting and figured it was an easy fix that only took 30mins. We had a great convo, and I offered more work for him. He immediately texted me after he left with parts and price for the next job. But the next day, I started experiencing the same issue again, so I texted him to let him know. No response. I text again 3 days later to check in and gave him the days I was available, he says he'd let me know when he was free... without an apology or trying to set a date or plan to get it fixed. I texted him multiple times after that to book a date since it was getting closer to the weekend, but I didn't get a response until I asked if he had a referral to someone else. He said he had truck issues (which is weird for a mechanic), and asks if I could come to him. Really, I think he just didn't want to drive to me, even though he's a mobile mechanic... but I agree and ask for an address. Again, no response. It wasn't until I told him that I was leaving a review, was when he started being responsive quickly like he did in the beginning. He said he was sick and vomiting, which is why he didn't see my text asking for the address. Then he said he could come to me first thing in the morning, so apparently he had time to "fix his truck" yesterday during the time he was "sick". Now I need a new mechanic because the work that he did, didn't fix the issue. I will never use him again, and I spent all that money for nothing. So be careful! And if anyone has a referral to someone else, please let me know!! I have 4 vehicles between my fiancé and I, so I need someone I can rely on regularly.

5/5 I've been…read morebringing my vehicles to Mac Crawford for well over a decade, and there's a reason I continue to come back. Mac is reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and his prices have always been fair and affordable. I've never felt like I was being sold something I didn't need, and I've never had an issue with the quality of his work. That kind of trust is hard to find when it comes to auto repair. What I appreciate most is that you don't feel like just another number here. Mac takes the time to explain what's going on with your vehicle, what actually needs to be done, and what your options are. There's a level of personal service and accountability that you just don't get everywhere. There was even one occasion when my vehicle needed something Mac wasn't able to handle. Instead of attempting a repair outside of his expertise or simply turning me away, he referred me to someone who could take care of it properly. That told me everything I needed to know about his integrity. He knows what he's doing, and if something is outside of his scope, he'll be honest about it and point you in the right direction. After more than ten years of consistently good experiences, I can confidently say Mac is someone I trust with my vehicles. Great service, fair pricing, honest advice, and someone who genuinely treats his customers like people rather than transactions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crawford's Auto Repair.

I almost stuck with one place, but they tried to upsell me on things I didn't need, so I kept looking. I read a bunch of good reviews about Crawford's and decided to give them a try. Fast forward to now -- I've been using them for 4 years for various services. Sometimes it's just a simple oil change or routine maintenance; other times, it's more involved repairs. They haven't disappointed me once. Mac is always on point. He clearly explains what's going to be done and how much it will cost. He looks out for your best interest and suggests the most cost-efficient (not necessarily cheapest) repair option. He's also trustworthy -- if a repair part acts up, he won't back out. He honors his warranty. I take both my car and my wife's car here -- and only here.
