Just this year they have also rebuilt the C6 in a 77 F150 2WD and the transmission and transfer case in my 78 Bronco 4X4. I really appreciate them taking care of my classics, but they've also done the transmissions in my Ranger 4x4, Cadillac STS4, Charger RT AWD and more. They have also done brakes, air conditioning, etc. for us. No one wants the expense of a car repair but when I pay for my repair, I feel I've gotten great value and it always comes with amazing customer service. Did I mention that I go out of my way to use them? I live at least 45 minutes away and when I've been stranded, I've had vehicles towed long distances just so I'd have the piece of mind that comes from doing business with someone I trust. They never checked anything just automatically assumed it was going to need a new transmission. Took it to a different transmission spot to find out that there is no oil in it. It was low on transmission fluid. Do not recommend them. I will never go to them ever again. All they did was drive. It didn't look into anything didn't run any code. See if there's any codes on or anything like that. told me it was going to be $4500 for a rebuilt transmission.

I took my vehicle three months ago to Semmens Transmission because there was no communication…read morebetween the transmission control module and the rest of the vehicle, they tried a new TCM with no results after talking to the technician he recommended a used transmission for $2500 which I declined so I had a vehicle towed back home did a lot of diagnostics and re-search and was able to correct the problem with an internal mode switch for $50. After disassembling the transmission to get access to the switch, they told me they put the old TCM back in and sent it back to the dealer, when I remove the TCM, there were two bolts missing, and one broken off in the valve body. Needless to say I was very disappointed. My vehicle is back in service and running just fine. I cannot recommend this facility to anybody after my experience.
