I stopped in for the first time with a friend. I found some really old books for a fraction of the cost compared to other book stores. I absolutely love this place. The people are so friendly.

Could not get any assistance. She was on the phone so didn't acknowledge my presence. Really small and crammed in space. Prices seemed on he high side.

Such a cute bookstore in downtown Fenton. A must see on your walk through downtown and definitely if you're chowing down at The Laundry before or after as well. This bookstore has something for everyone, including a whole section on Michigan-exclusive books & puzzles that I was the most tempted by. I picked up a book about hikes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula here & it's wonderful. Additional favorites in this bookstore: 1) The fact that they have a STORE DOG! And absolute sweetie! 2) They sometimes have mystery books available at the checkout counter! That's when books are wrapped up & you buy the mystery book(s) based on genre/vibe feels listed on the wrapping paper! Such a fun idea & I love that they have it here. :)

We definitely recommend Unicorn One book store. We have been shopping here for years, and it is one…read moreof our favorite book stores anywhere. The store has a remarkable variety of books on all sorts of subjects. It's particularly refreshing that the selection includes older books as well as more current ones; when you find a good author you want to read everything they have written, not just the latest book! Also, the store carries hardcovers as well as paperbacks, which is a definite find, since they're scarcer in used shops and I've always preferred hardcovers - since they don't fall apart easily and the print is bigger. It's a great selection. The shelves are well organized by category and author, but there are also miscellaneous boxes to go through that have not been filed yet. A bonus treasure trove. Everything here is very reasonably priced, and you can bring in books to get discounted prices. I never leave empty handed. I always find something here that I need every time we visit. A great store also means a great owner. It is all part of the experience. She is friendly and helpful. She knows where everything is in the store and can suggest titles and authors that suit my reading preferences. She knows her customers well and her recommendations are always great. She is very nice, very intelligent, and very knowledgeable, not only about books and authors, but about a wide range of subjects. She is very well read. We can discuss books, film, television, the book industry, and anything under the sun. We come for the books and stay for the conversation. The owner is awesome, so her shop is a destination. One of the best used book stores we've been to, and that is saying something. We drive almost an hour to shop and visit, and are here every other month or so. Definitely worth checking out.

There were some books still in boxes, but there are so many books that she doesn't have enough room to display them all! We bought a lot of books and were both happy with our purchases. I recommend this store to anyone looking for used books.

Located in the strip shopping area where Whole Foods and Kohl's are close neighbors. Lots of parking available. When you walk in, you are reminded of the late great Borders. Maybe it is the style of shelving or just the feel, but it is setup so similar. Books, magazines, kitchen items, clothes, jewelry, toys, smart ass stuff, and many other items like windchimes and a wall of puzzles you normally don't expect. Just enough help and sale books. While it does have a membership program yet, you can get on its mailing list. While I was disappointed of the lack of tarot cards, it has what most people want. I didn't have lots of time to stay and look, I look forward to a longer visit when I am up this way next month. A wonderful way to enjoy part of an afternoon and with a good size children section, parents will love showing that reading is a family value.

I really didn't need another pop up book but the kids will love it.
