This man stuck with me every step of the way by repeatedly documenting over and over again what the initial adjuster had (conveniently) overlooked and they would not send anyone else out to recheck the damages. Josh persisted with photos, measurements, and precisely worded emails until FINALLY they could no longer deny their shortcomings ( I'm being polite, they were criminal actually) and agreed to fulfil their obligations to honor my home owners insurance policy. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more I am a reservist in the United States Army. I bought a house sight unseen while I was deployed overseas. Before I closed on the house, the previous owners disclosed to me that there was a leak in the pool and that I would need a new liner. My realtor recommended Premier Choice Pools to do an estimate to repair the leak. They did the estimate and I elected to go ahead with the purchase of the home and to use them to make the repairs. I am not from the area and did not know which was the best company to use so I put my faith in PCP because my realtor seemed to think they would do a good job. In November of 2021, I returned from my overseas deployment and went into contract with PCP. They replaced the liner and I was very pleased with how professional they seemed at the time, in spite of reading negative reviews and complaints on BBB. I initially gave them a glowing review myself. But then reality set in. Just a couple of weeks after the installation of the new liner, the pool was still leaking. They sent out a company to check for the leak and one of the employees of that company told me that the liner had been installed improperly. I reported this to PCP and they unabashedly denied that it was their fault but still agreed to pay for the leak detection service. They also told me over the phone in a recorded call that they would continue to work with me until the pool was fixed because they wanted to do right by me, even though they assured me it was not their fault. That being said, the edges of the liner also started to come out around that time. I was still focused on the leak and was working with them to try to get the leak stopped and figured I would address the corners once that issue was addressed. Eventually, the plan was to have PCP drain the pool and have another company seal the main drain where the leak appears to be coming from. PCP set up a date to do the installation and we were going to go from there. But then, they sent me an email telling me they had to cancel the installation because they were going out of business. I immediately began having other companies out to look at my pool to determine what next steps to take and ALL OF THESE COMPANIES told me that my pool liner was installed incorrectly and that PCP are the ones responsible for my leak and that I would have to have a new liner installed properly to stop the leak. PCP then sends me a text message out of nowhere asking if we were still on for them to come fix my leak. I was flabbergasted because they said they were going out of business but I decided to go ahead and see what they had to say but then they sent me a contact wanting me to pay more money and completely absolving them of any liability if anything were to go wrong and were STILL NOT GUARANTEEING to fix the underlying issue. I responded to their email telling them that they needed to do what is right and fix the leak and the edges of the liner. They then said they were taking me off of their schedule. I then updated my reviews on various sites with respect to the service because I do not want anyone else to be bamboozled as I was by this company. When they saw my reviews, they immediately emailed me threatening me that I needed to take down my reviews and my photos of my pool or they are going to sue me and put a lien on my property. Che Che even texted me last evening again asking me to take down my review and the photos. That is the kind of customer service you can expect if you hire Premier Choice Pools. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

A couple of weeks back we hired Mobile Bay Handyman to come look at our disposal. During the…read morevisit, it was determined it was completely dead and needed to be replaced. The job was completed quickly and professionally. The garbage disposal works and we happily paid the bill. The first time we ran our dishwasher after this, it leaked everywhere. We called Mobile Bay Handyman back, told the person who answered the phone what the problem was and that a tech was here recently. They sent a field tech the same day. The tech diagnosed the issue immediately. When Mobile Bay Handyman installed the garbage disposal, the tech who did that did not remove a "plug" that allows water to flow from the dishwasher...thus causing the leak and water everywhere. We received a bill, but wanted to discuss it with them as it was there fault for not removing the plug during the installation. The person we spoke to did not agree with our assessment. He basically feels that if a surgeon were to cut you open to repair an artery for example and you bleed out as a result that this is not the surgeons fault. I offered to pay the "service fee" but felt that Mobile Bay Handyman should absorb the rest of the cost because, again, it was there fault for not doing all the steps at installation. My advice is to be careful and ask all the right questions (do your own research on potential problems) and make sure everything is done correctly.

Once the leak was finally found (that's a whole other story, and was NOT the fault of Ellison Plumbing), Blake's guys replaced the busted pipe and poured concrete back over the holes in a timely manner. Both gentlemen (I can't remember their names) were friendly, professional and efficient! After getting quotes from a handful of companies, as well as looking over reviews of all companies, I'm so glad we chose Ellison Plumbing! Not only do they have outstanding customer service, they won't break the bank like a lot of other places.
