Glenn's is a great place to buy meat, catering dishes and especially dog treats!…read more We stopped on a whim, attracted by the giant chicken sculpture and entered to find a large butcher shop with tons of choice. Ready to BBQ? Choose from the long butcher counter or a tremendous variety of brats and seasoned chicken breasts. Got company? There are whole cases full of catering, ready to heat and eat. Tenderloin tips, main dishes, appetizers, sides and more, all at good prices. Hate cooking? Pick up containers of frozen homemade soup (10+ kinds), something from the deli or grab a hot lunch on weekdays. Have a dog? If you raw feed you need to hit this place up because they have it ALL at great prices. Plus every kind of freeze dried organ as treats and giant smoked bones for like $2-3. Something for everyone, plus really good prices.

In the middle of a pandemic, Glenn's chooses to promote misinformation about COVID-19 and expose their workers and customers to the virus. Not a single worker I saw inside was masked, and a sign hanging on the store's entrance flaunted the statewide mask mandate. I also politely asked the cashier to wear a mask when ringing up my purchase. I didn't think that this request was too much to ask during a pandemic, especially in a state that has been hard-hit with the virus. Rather than do this small thing to make me feel valued as a customer, the cashier jeered at me and dismissed my (very rational) request. I generally don't like to leave bad reviews, but - if given the choice between a bad review versus spreading a virus that has killed countless thousands - I will gladly leave this review in the hopes that others will see it and not give Glenn's your business. There are plenty of other local meat markets to support during these trying times, and I hope that readers of this review will do so.

I understand that here in America, to eat healthily can be quite costly for the majority of folks, but Aldi makes buying organic products during every trip possible without having to break the bank. I guess in my opinion folks should always be able to buy organic at a reasonable price and those non-organic products can stay the same for anyone to buy at their own leisure. This review isn't a political statement but just something for folks to hear as Aldi has really helped shift my eating habits and has made it possible, I'll say it again, possible, for me to eat organic foods with no additives and other junk that our body needs. Overall, I'd like to thank Aldi for being who they are regardless of any flaws or other things that folks may have their opinions on. This particular Aldi location is wonderful and always fully stocked. It's very clean and their staff is really nice. Their special buy is always one par and I love it. I'm addicted to Aldi :) Get your groceries here!!! Thanks for reading!

You'll need to hear my whole story to know why you need to go to Brad's…read more Four years ago, my uncle said we needed to go to Brad's to get our venison processed. We did all logs (no snack sticks) and the price was fair. However, the logs seemed kind of wet. You needed to pull it out of the casing and let it air dry for a few days. Kind of spongey and quite contrary to what I wanted. Year three (I missed on year two) - my dad and uncle said we're still going to Brad's. I'm against it due to my first year going. But, I relent and we send out venison for processing - mostly logs and some snack sticks. If I couldn't be more wrong about anything, this sausage and sticks were as good as it gets. I was no longer mourning the loss of a processor I enjoyed for the majority of my life - I was tasting sausage that was actually good. Year four - I was pleased with the previous year and excited to process my meat. If I had received the same exact thing from year three, I would've been happier than a pig in..... it's droppings. Instead, I got top class processing. The logs are the perfect moisture and consistency and I couldn't ask for more. I've had years of the same sausage - my expectation - and Brad's met and/or demolished it. Now for the coup de grâce - the snack sticks. I could easily eat a pack of these a day if I hated myself. The flavor, consistency, and SNAP are perfect. Brad gets better every year and if that means anything - it means your processing will be phenomenal and every year after will be mesmerizing. Don't pass up on Brad's - he'll give you the same meat you dropped off (seriously, other processors will pool your meat with others), the flavor you asked for, and the consistency anyone would appreciate. Thank you Brad for restoring my faith in venison processing.
