I'll start off by saying that the fence they installed looks great, but it has been a terrible, SIX MONTH long process to get it complete. I received a quote from Fence Pro on April 12th and was told that the fence would be completed by the end of May, beginning of June at the latest and that I just needed to put down a deposit to get the work scheduled. I put my deposit down (and paid off the full balance a short time later). I did not receive an email or a phone call to set a date or time, or to even acknowledge that I had made my payments. When I was finally able to get ahold of them (in JULY), I was told that the material is hard to get right now due to COVID - which I completely understand. But mind you, these people have 8,500 of my money and couldn't even pick up the phone once every few weeks to update me. August came and when I called (again, no contact from them) I was told they are behind because they can't keep help. Fine - I get it... it's a busy time of year. September came and when I called (still, no contact from them), they said that I was on the schedule for the next week. Then when no one showed up, they said it will be two more weeks. And this went on like this for a few weeks... They would not give me an actual date, but just kept saying you are next and pushing the date. Finally, after countless phone calls, they said that the install would start on Monday the 11th. The morning of October 11th arrived and no one showed up. I hate to say it, but I wasn't surprised. Jim, the owner, finally called me that night and stated that they would be there the next day at 8am. I told him that I have to leave for work at 8 am, but he asked me to be there when they first get there because he wanted me to show him where exactly I want the fence. He said that he would have them come just before 8am so I could leave for work on time. On Tuesday the 12th, no one was there at 8am. At 8:10, I called Jim & he did not answer. I left a voicemail and texted him. I had to leave for work, so I marked the yard with sticks as to where the fence was supposed to go and took a video detailing where it needed to go (even though we had gone through all of this during the quote process. As we were pulling out to go to work at 8:30, they finally pulled in. I told them that I marked the area with sticks and sent Jim the video of where I would like the fence. They thanked us and let us out of the driveway and we left. A few minutes later, my roommate calls me because the installer was pounding on the door, asking where we would like the fence to go. We told the guy again that I sent his boss the video as they were late and I had to go to work. He said that they were told 8:30 (another communication issue - shocker). I forwarded the video to the installer's cell phone, as I never heard back from the owner. I had my mom stop by just to ensure that everything was correct before they started digging holes. She saw them smoking and asked them to make sure they put out their cigarettes and use the trash can or dispose of them where they are not on the ground. They agreed. About two hours in, I get a phone call from a neighbor that there is a guy standing in the middle of my backyard peeing. In shock, I looked at the cameras that I have all around my house and one of the installers standing there, in full view of the entire neighborhood, just peeing in my yard. Not even hidden or in the corner somewhere. Just out in the open. I live in the city and have two houses behind me and one on each side of me, plus I'm on a busy, busy road. I download the clip before he went into the yard where he unzipped his pants and pointed out the camera to his coworker before proceeding to the yard. I waited until they completed the install job before sending this video to Jim, who at this point, had still not returned any of my calls or texts because I didn't want them to walk off halfway and leave me out $8,500. I was told that they would have four people on this job and that they would be able to complete it in one day, but that was not the case. There were just two people, so it took a couple of days. The next day their rake broke so they just left big piles of dirt at each of the posts, as well as piles of dirt and rocks in my driveway and throughout my grass. I pay someone to keep my grass green and full, and they had just overseeded and sprayed, so now my grass is dying because of all the dirt piles that were left. Once they finally finished, I email the owner the video clip of the man peeing, my issue with them not showing up at the time they were scheduled, as well as photos of the dirt/rocks/etc so that he could be aware. Well, I guess that got his attention because he FINALLY called me the next day and told me that he cannot control when his people will show up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a business. He is the owner, and if he can't have his employees show up at the scheduled time, that is not my problem! I understand that read more

Fence Pro does great work, and Jimmy and his family are a pleasure to deal with. FP finished enclosing my oddly shaped yard and did an excellent job with a custom-built privacy fence and an additional section of coated metal. The driveway gate is attractive and easy to drive through, and both the side and deck gates look great. The entire fence looks dead-level and is without noticeable flaws. While the fence itself turned out great, I was very dissatisfied when we had an easement issue come up. Instead of standing behind his work, I ended up bearing the full expense to correct the issue. We hire professionals to protect us from these types of issues and when they are given the plat, and have the various utilities marked, you do not expect them to build right on top of the sewer line. You expect your fence profession to stand behind their work. I cannot say that Fence Pro did. I had to stand behind their work and pay for it again. I have already discouraged new neighbors from using their service. read more

My husband and I are very dissatisfied with mostly the lack of customer service and Fence Pros inability to stand behind their products. The owner is rude and totally disrespectful at times throughout our huge project. now many months later our front gate closed on my trailer as i was pulling out causing specific damage to my vehicle and the gate is destroyed. Fence Pro should stand behind this accident and repair the circuit board and offer some sort of gate replacement, but instead i got yelled at for having a "bad" day. I am so disappointed by this company and will discourage everyone I know to not do business with them . read more

If you like poor customer service, being given the run-around, being lied to, and sketchy behavior, you have found the right place. Fence Pro gave me the best price on moving and adding to an existing fence. But I paid a price! First of all, they would tell me they were coming and then not show. No phone call. They actually told me that if people would stop calling about when they would start work, they could get more done. Unbelievable! When they finished the work, I asked for the extra unused fencing that I had paid for. I was told there wasn't any, although I could see the leftover roll in the truck bed. Then I asked for the old part of my fence that was also in the bed. I was told they had to use extra for my fence!?? They also cut the internet cable! You get what you pay for, my friends. FencePro was hired to build a vinyl privacy fence around the back of our house and an aluminum fence on one side of our pool. It took them over two months to finish their work. The fence was crooked and out of level and the owner and workers actually got mad at us for pointing it out! It was the worst customer service I've had and very unprofessional. To top it all off, Jimmy (owner) screamed and yelled over the phone at my wife because we wouldn't let him put a piece of vinyl under the gate so it would pass inspection.
