Mr Torry came to help with a downed tree a few years ago, then he spotted a tree that was right by our house. He took a straw and gently pushed it into the tree where it touched the ground. The lower part of the tree was hollow, so he took it down, and we were saved having a tree on our roof. A few days ago he came to look at the whole property because a tree had fallen while we were away. He demonstrated or pointed out problems. Yesterday and today, he did all that work and cleared up the mess. We could see that every tree he felled was rotten, as he said. He has the equipment to safely take down trees close to the house. So, in short, he's honest, does excellent work in a timely fashion and, while tree work is expensive, his prices are reasonable. A bonus is that we just plain like him. read more

I have used Torry & Son Tree and Landscape Service for over 30 years. They have cut down several trees for me on 3 different occasions during this period of time with the most recent being today, September 15, 2026. I continue to use their service because I am pleased with their work. They are punctual, have always done an excellent job in cutting down and trimming my trees and cleaning up the area afterwards. I appreciate them letting my neighbor know about moving their cars. I highly recommend their service to anyone and I will continue to use their service when needed. read more

Jimmy came out and listened carefully to our requests for removing and grinding the stumps for two trees and pruning a few others. He's courteous, professional and his estimate was very competitive. We also appreciated the fact that he has years of experience. He spent a full day completing the work and was careful to make sure none of the surrounding plants were damaged as he dropped the branches. The stump grinding was very thorough and everything was left neat and clean. We're already in the process of hiring him for another project. We recommend Torry's highly! read more

This was my first time using Torry's Tree Service. I had seen Mr. Torry & his crew working on two nearby jobs and was impressed. Before starting work, they put down plywood to protect the yard from equipment damage. A large pine tree that was overhanging a shed & fence needed to be removed. It was cut & lowered with ropes. Not a bit of damage to anything. Afterward, cleanup was excellent. Would I use them again? ABSOLUTELY ! read more

We've been with Mr Torry for almost 30 years. His team has handled our landscaping and a few really large, problematic trees. Mr Torry is proactive when he's on the property, checking conditions of trees that look diseased and recommends treatments/services. I wouldn't trust my yard with anyone else and recommend them highly. Great work and cleanup afterwards. They are also really reasonably priced. read more

My Father used Torry's for his tree needs and now I am having to have a tree removed. Torry and team were wonderful! They had to climb and take down a dead oak tree in peices. They worked steady and didn't leave a mess at all. Very polite, honest, company. I will definitely use them again! As for the cost it was very fair for what they had to do! read more
