I show up and look at the blanket, the thickness they used was so small I couldn't see it at all. It was a fluffy blanket but I expected them to at least let me know rather than just acting like it was fine!! The blanket was also melted in some spots from the machine. No refunds, returns, etc. They did not care and did nothing for me. The store owners (Trends and Traditions) agreed with me and took back the blanket but the lady from Stitches and Such said nothing could be done and sent it right back. Then I decided to give them another chance. Mistake number 2 on my part. They had my pillow done on time this time, only spelled wrong! I spelled it out for them multiple times and wrote it down in two places and they had proof of that even after they screwed up. The font was also so tiny and not what I agreed to. So overpriced and when they messed up, the owner said she didn't care that I missed pillow/paddle swap and that it wasn't her fault. She didn't refund anything or help me at all. The worst customer service. Never going back and don't recommend anyone else come here! They just want your money and rush through the orders without attention to detail. Not to mention they're much more expensive than other places. I paid $40 for them to just embroider on my pillowcase and then spell it wrong but it "wasn't their fault." Wish I had nicer things to say!

Yesterday (9/7/25) was my first and last time visiting this rock shop. From the moment we walked…read morein, the energy from the younger staff member felt very negative and uncomfortable. I've been to many crystal and rock stores before and never experienced that kind of atmosphere. Just Negative. It genuinely felt like we were being watched the entire time, which made browsing unpleasant. My friend noticed the same thing and even told me, "let it go--it's not your negative energy; it's hers." My friends and I spent probably close to $150, but were still met with constant staring and a very curt "we close in 10 minutes," which came across as rude and unnecessary since we were already aware of the time. The older lady that was there was super sweet to me when I found malachite I hadn't seen in other stores. This month marks 2 years without my grandpa. And that rock, although I didn't go there for that rock, ended up speaking to me and I knew I had to have it. The older lady listened to me while I noticed the younger girl staring me down into my soul. It was SO very weird. We were all so excited to visit this rock shop we saw on Google maps. We were ALL in a good mood, and her mood didn't change or add to our day. Just made me feel very uncomfortable that 20 minutes or so that we were there. As we were leaving I saw a section on the wall outside the entrance that had photos of ppl who stole from them and thought it was a good idea because the people that stole from y'all are on blast and now other ppl can see them too. For context: I went in today to try and buy a nice birthday gift for one of my best friends and was mean mugged almost as soon as I walked in. This girl who was working tried to walk by my boyfriend and he moved out of the way and said "oh sorry let me move" to try and be polite and this bitch of a person says "I would've said excuse me if needed you to move" && the older lady running the store just watches it happen. I scoffed put my stuff away and walked out. TLDR: good safety measures today, met lots of new-to-me artists…read more Covid19 shut down the market in spring so this is my first of 2020 and I've *missed* it pretty badly! Only saw one of the old familiar artists I was looking forward to seeing, but there was a good showing of vendors--enough to ring the courthouse once and more booths sitting in the corners. All the vendors were masked, and all the shoppers when I was there. Most of the booths had a big jar of hand sanitizer out and available. Not everyone was good about the 6' rule so I'd just step off onto the grass when people came my way on the sidewalk. There were signs at the entrance requiring masks and stipulating 10 humans max at any booth at one time. I saw big paintings, woodwork, small original prints, LOTS of jewelry booths, leatherwork, wall hangings, one gent had some beautiful guitars and someone else had fabulous knit/crocheted items from children's ski caps and soft toys to cardigans. The Calaboose Museum had a booth so I took the opportunity to buy a t-shirt. It's one of those local treasures I keep meaning to learn more about, and I look forward to visiting when their refurbishment completes in January. For no particular reason, almost all my luck today was with glass. Who knows if any pieces will find their way under someone else's xmas tree or if I will make excuses and hold onto them a little longer.
