This review is long overdue. Jackson did a good job grooming my dog in Sept and Nov 2024 - the…read morehaircut itself was well done. However, I was surprised by the high cost. He charged an additional $110 due to matting, which is so much more than the typical $20 or so I've paid at other groomers. I would have appreciated a heads-up before he did it, rather than being informed at check out. In addition, he didn't clean my dog's ears, which had noticeable hair overgrowth. He advised me to see a vet because he had no time but when I took my dog to Dr. Gary at Mountain Feed, he said that ear cleaning is usually the groomer's responsibility and if there was infection after cleaning I can then come back to the vet. I ended up walking into Where the Fur Flies in Ben Lomond, where they took care of it right away for $10. Jackson also made a comment about picking up 3 ticks at checkout that he usually never do that while my other groomer once happily helped. He made me feel bad that I tipped him a bit more. In Nov 2024, I needed a last min appt with my second dog (because no one else was available) and I was charged an extra $40 for boarding because I picked up late - again, this was before tips and taxes. Just a heads-up to make sure you're available to pick up your dogs as soon as they're done. I tipped 18-20% for all these services at the three appointments.. Overall, while the grooming itself was okay, I found the price, customer service lacking and a bit standoffish - he also made me feel that he cared more about his blades than client relationship and my dogs. Blades are metal, how much more they could get hurt.. anyway, I believe clearer communication and more flexibility would go a long way.

I have an anxious golden doodle who can be a handful, but they were so patient and gentle with him. The calm and relaxing environment really made a difference, and I could tell my dog felt more comfortable than he usually does during grooming appointments. On top of that, the haircut was perfect--probably the best my dog has ever had! Jackson listened to exactly what I wanted and paid attention to all the little details. They were also incredibly timely, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for a groomer who is skilled, caring, and professional, this is the place to go!

What really stood out was how gentle and patient she was with our rescue, Rubi, who doesn't trust people easily. Lynsey's calm energy and expertise made all the difference -- she was even able to trim Rubi's face, which is no small task! All of our pups came back looking amazing, and Rubi came out of the van with her tail wagging. Highly recommend Lynsey and Pawsitive Styles for anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares.

I have honestly never taken her to get groomed because I was always nervous about how she would react with other dogs. Beth assured me that Fig (my dog) would be safe along with the other dogs. She had us bring her in and played it so cool with the other dogs that Fig did not Start barking or lunging at anyone. She was very happy and at ease. Besides keeping Everyone safe Fig looks like a million dollars. Her nails are perfectly trimmed, coat is shinny, and the added pink bandana warmed my heart. This was the best grooming experience my dog Holly and I have ever had. Janice is truly a gem!…read moreNormally Holly is terrified as we walk into a salon to be groomed. I always feel so bad for her knowing how upset my furry little family member is. Because Janice grooms out of her lovely home, Holly just thought we were visiting and was comfortable right from the start. Throughout the consultation (that started with a latte. Yes, Janice made me a yummy latte) Janice held Holly and comforted her to let Holly know she was safe. When I returned to pick up Holly she looked beautiful. Really the best she has ever looked. Her cut was perfect and her fur was extra fluffy. Janice said she did great throughput the process and even through the nail clipping. That was a first. A million thanks to Janice. You are wonderful and I'm so lucky to have found you.

Our dog is a rescue and he gets very nervous when meeting new people outside of home. Janice took time to bond with him before grooming. And I could tell she did a very good job. Our dog was relaxed and happy when I went to pick him up. We wanted to try a new groomer because the other local grooming salon we went didn't give a good clean cut and the environment was very stressful, as we hear dogs barking and crying every time we drop him off. Upon the first visit with Janice, we know we would love to come back. 5 stars!

The service is excellent they always come right on time at 8am for pick-up (drop off i am not sure since I am still at work). They follow your instructions to the tee and from all the workers that I have met so far, they seem like really caring animal lovers. Dash always comes home excited and tired eager to "talk" about his day then promptly crashes. It's such a relief not to worry about exercising him a couple days a week. Their prices are very reasonable and have an excellent response time. We had to go up to the camp for an in-person interview to make sure our dog would be acceptable at the camp. Naturally, he passed, but it was nice to know they had a screening process. Especially since thigs can easily get out of hand with a few aggressive dogs thrown into the mix. What was also impressive is his first day at camp it was raining buckets, i was expecting a wet muddy dog when I got home but no he was clean and dry. Very impressive. Anyway, love these guys highly recommend!
