I interviewed several companies before making a decision, and from our very first conversation, David stood out from everyone else. His professionalism, honesty, attitude, and communication were in a league of their own. I knew almost immediately he was the person I could trust with my sister's project. Since I couldn't be there in person, David kept me informed every step of the way with progress photos and updates without me ever having to ask. Those pictures became far more than simple updates. They documented the planning, preparation, craftsmanship, and pride that went into building the driveway the right way. Even from hundreds of miles away, I never felt disconnected from the project. One moment perfectly captures David's philosophy. While preparing the driveway, the city's chief inspector commented that the amount of reinforcement looked like overkill. David simply replied, "I'd rather overdo it than have it not be adequate." Later, that same chief inspector was so impressed with David's work that he asked David to repair the driveway at his own home. You can advertise quality, but you can't manufacture that kind of respect. It has to be earned. One of the greatest gifts David gave me wasn't just a beautiful driveway for my sister. It was the peace of mind of knowing I had made the right recommendation. Hearing the excitement and gratitude in my sister's voice throughout the project meant more to me than I can express. Concrete cures and becomes part of everyday life. But every time my sister looks at her driveway, she'll remember who built it, because David and his team poured their character into every square foot.

Saul Cabrera was referred to me by a friend to restore my house after Hurricane Harvey. He…read moreprovided me a fair and honest estimate and I hired him 8 months after the storm. He and his crew did sheetrock, bamboo floors, baseboards, painting/texturing, tile, bathtub replacement, appliance retrieval and installation, some fencing and a garage floor. They are prompt, professional and are not scattered out over several projects at once. His employees have been with him for 5-20 years, wear a company uniform, and are dedicated and respectful. Unlike other contractors, Saul is present at the job site performing some of the work. He presented me with no surprises with the billing. He was pleasant to work with, takes pride in a job well done, and has none of the arrogance I've encountered with other contractors. I gave one of my neighbors (an engineer) a tour and he was amazed how quickly and expertly the work was done. He exclaimed, "My contractor took 6 months and the craftsmanship does not compare with Mr. Cabrera's". I recommend him without hesitation and feel like his work was a happy ending to the devastating experience of Hurricane Harvey.
