Basically was lured here by the $198 for a dozen oysters deal. Went around 8pm and it was only half full, so seating was spacious. If you are willing to decide earlier on a stray restaurant rather than adopt the "There's lot of eateries in soho/noho/causeway, let's walk around the area and decide..." approach, you will likely be rewarded by less (or no) waiting time plus a quieter ambience and better seating.
Anyhow, the food was decent. Nothing too fancy, creative or overwhelming, just classic Italian dishes. The $198 for a dozen oysters were all common pacific oysters, but I can't complain at that price, it was a steal. Foie gras was great as well - big and juicy sitting on top of a piece of toast. It was served with a side salad, which was a good idea to take off some guilt. The seafood pasta was good, and the waiter was happy to have our linguini changed to angel's hair. I wouldn't come here again for pizza, not that the pizza was bad per se, but there are plenty of options at the same price that serves much much better pizza made with a proper oven.
All-in-all, Felicity 1929 is a decent unpretentious eatery with simple honest food and very reasonable prices. read more
