I was nervous and self conscious to be at the end of a lens. Jenn made us feel comfortable from prepping for the session to the delivery of our photos, even advice on what to wear. I've never encountered a photographer as thorough as Jenn. She does an exceptional job with her communications, explanations, and timeliness. Not to mention the photos are beautiful. Aside from her professionalism throughout the entire process, she also helped us relax, laugh, and be ourselves during the photo shoot. And that's exactly what came through in our pictures, our genuine selves. It turns out I had nothing to worry about in Jenn's hands; she did a great job.

She met with us multiple times before the days of our events to make sure she properly captured the type and quantities of photos we desired, and she 100% delivered on everything that we were hoping for. During the engagement photos, she made us extremely relaxed and excited for our photo shoot, and we seamlessly traveled to multiple indoor and outdoor locations across a very loud and busy downtown Chicago. On the day of our wedding, we joke that Laura felt like another bridesmaid while still doing an exceptional job throughout the day. As multiple small stresses and social curveballs were thrown her way (e.g., party members getting ready, family logistics, etc.), she was amazingly professional and personable with bridesmaids, family members, and other vendors. Most importantly, all of our photos from both events turned out PERFECTLY. Her style of no crazy filters or complex poses beautifully and, most importantly, genuinely captured our big day. We continue to go back to both our digital and printed photos frequently to relive these memories that Laura and her team honored in the best way. We highly recommend her as your photographer!

Amanda did our engagement shoot shortly after we booked for our wedding, allowing us to get a sense of what working with her on our wedding day would be like. We felt so comfortable with her from the start and loved our engagement shots. On our wedding day, Amanda was sooo incredibly efficient and on task, that everything felt that it went so smoothly to us--Im sure there were hiccups in getting all the shots needed, but I wouldn't have known. Amanda also has stuck to her contract throughout the process, sending us sneak peeks for us to have the day after our wedding and delivering our whole wedding album to us weeks prior to when the contract stated. She is incredibly reliable, which can't be said of all photographers. Trusting her to capture our biggest day yet was the best decision, and I look forward to booking Amanda for any future photography needs we have.

She will go hard for you and your day. She has an amazing sense of style and can provide advice well beyond photography. She meant so much to us throughout our wedding journey. In the midst of COVID, she bought into our dream of going to Paris for engagement photos. I never wanted engagement photos, but my planner highly recommended them, so I figured, if I was going to do them, I wanted them to be epic. Amanda DELIVERED. And my planner was right. It allowed us to get to know Amanda, and for her to know our awkward non-PDA selves. When the wedding rolled around, one thing I was not worried about was our photos. As soon as Amanda walked in the room, I was immediately put at ease. She is so on top of things that I knew she wouldn't let anything go wrong. I loved every minute of our day, and I'm so glad we got to share those times with Amanda. And that her incredible skill was able to capture them for us to relive forever through her photos. She is unparalleled in capturing those special, heartfelt moments. Our whole wedding party loved her. Friends that have never liked a wedding photographer, couldn't stop gushing about her. I cannot recommend using Amanda enough for your wedding. We are honored to have had our day captured by her.

I found Emily on the blog 'A Practical Wedding', and her photographs were just my style- candid and quirky. After meeting with her in person, I knew she would be a great fit. She generously worked within our budget, was super responsive to questions leading up to the wedding, and went above and beyond in so many ways. She really, really cared about us and our wedding photographs- she did everything she could to make sure it was a great experience for us- even going so far as to go over her contracted hours to make sure we captured everything important. They did an excellent job finding out exactly what we wanted through quick interviews and questions and did an even better job in delivering it. Emily's humor and kind words throughout the process went a long way towards taking away some of the stress around the situation as well - she's a delight to talk to! They staked out our location beforehand and had several excellent shots in mind that we liked just as much, than our ideas, even though she had never seen our venue before! That eye showed in the photos, which weren't just excellent because they captured my wife and I in an amazing light, but were impressive by the standards of the craft, as well. The pair were even great when it came to talking up our friends and family, thanks to how personable they are. You can tell they really love photography, and that made the whole experience even more fun! As for turnaround, I couldn't be happier. Emily kept us updated very often, set very agreeable deadlines and met them with relative ease, even though I know for a fact she was working on multiple weddings at the same time. f you want wedding photos that are barely average, want terrible customer service and want to pay…read morean exorbitant fee then this is the photograph for you. However, if you don't then run, don't walk away from her. We hired this woman for my son's wedding, which had to be postponed due to Covid. She was the only vendor who raised her prices (considerably) when we had to rebook for the next year. Everyone else we worked with was understanding and accommodating. She never sent a copy of the photos to the parents of the couple (who paid her very large fee). She sent the photos only to the bride and groom who didn't realize no one else had copies. When we finally saw the photos FOUR MONTHS after the wedding we were stunned at how mediocre they were. Pictures were taken from too far away, many were poorly cropped, many were overexposed. Many of the candids had people with strange and awkward facial expressions, clothing not hanging properly--they were terrible. We were charged another large fee to make changes to the book the bride and groom ordered so we could include more of our family and friends. Trying to work with Naomi on this was very difficult, she was unresponsive to emails and when she finally got back to us to set up a phone call she never called because she forgot there was a time difference between Chicago and California. Really. It is not 11 months past the wedding and we have finally received our album. No thought was put into the book creatively in terms of layout and cropping and there was no follow up from her. For what we paid we expected a lot more in terms of quality and service. Our other child is getting married this summer and we are using a different photographer.
