Rating: 3.5 stars…read more Picture People is a fairly average mall photography studio for family photos. Pricing is quite steep but since our family takes family photos every 5-10 years it's not too bad as a splurge cost. The photo qualities are ok but poses are pretty generic. However, our photographer was very friendly and willing to work with us. She spent a lot of time with us because the store had fairly low traffic and so we had lots of time to figure out our packages etc. We were in the store for around 2 hours in total and there was no one else there at the time except for the photographer when we were there Monday morning and afternoon.

Also, as they are not a franchise you need to bring your photo program enrollment card in every time and hope you don't lose it if you want to use it. Expect to wait an extra 20-60 minutes past your appointment time to be seen and another 20-40 minutes after that to review your photos. Then another 15 minutes or so to pick up your pictures (the only reasonable part).

We looked into many photographers and met with a few, but Kayla is truly one-of-a-kind. Her communication and talent are unmatched! We had an amazing engagement session in negative winter weather, but Kayla made it more fun than we would ever thought possible! My husband and I weren't huge picture takers before this, but Kayla makes you feel so comfortable! We forgot how cold we were! When we received the final product just a few weeks later, we were overwhelmed! In 90 minutes, she captured so many phenomenal photos! We couldn't wait to share them with all of our friends and family, and we were so looking forward to having Kayla with us on our wedding day! Before the big day, Kayla was my go-to person for questions. She always responded quickly, thoroughly, and thoughtfully! She was not only a photographer, but she felt like a wedding planner and a friend! Thank you Kayla!! When Kayla and her second shooter/brother, Marshall, arrived at my parents' house on my wedding day, I had a calming sense come over me. I knew everything was going to run smoothly now! To no surprise, Kayla and Marshall were an integral piece of our wedding day! They calmed the bridal party's nerves and got us having fun and laughing! They created moments that you thought you would only see in a magazine! They took my vision and made into a reality! We feel so lucky that they were able to share their talents with us! Kayla can corral a big wedding party, direct them, and make magic happen! Because of Kayla and Marshall, we have photographs and memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. We CANNOT thank Kayla Brooke and Marshall enough! If my husband and I could do it all over again, we would have booked them sooner!! We hope that we will have the opportunity to work with them again for future family photographs!

I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography. Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything. Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect! Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page! For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing. Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.
