First, the planning process with Anna was very easy; she offers a few packages to suit your budget, and she was willing to travel to Chicago to check out our unique first look location prior to the wedding. Upon meeting Anna in person, we knew we hired the right person: she is very warm, kind, and immediately understood what we wanted to capture on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Anna and her husband Paul very efficiently (it was VERY HOT out) were able to take our first look, bridal party, and family photos. Upon going into the ceremony, both my husband and I completely forgot Anna and Paul were there... they were not in our face, and we got to enjoy our wedding night without feeling like we were always posing for photos. Okay, so here is the kicker... it's not the staged photos that blew our minds (they are perfect and lovely), but the spontaneous and natural photos. Anna captured the moments that no one else saw: the gestures between bride/groom/bridal party, the laughter, the nerves, and most importantly all the joy and love in the room. Every single photo we received was perfect. And we received them within a few weeks from our wedding! I cannot recommend Anna Guziak enough as a wedding photographer. Anna and her husband, Paul, photographed our wedding this past October 18th. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! The photographs they did were truly amazing and really caught the emotions and fun of the day! All of my guests love her work and I am so so so excited to receive our pictures THIS week!!!!! I love Anna! She is an amazing photographer and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for wedding photography...or any other photography for that matter. My husband and I initially had a really terrible experience with another photographer who made up put a lot of money down and then took horrible engagement photos. We scheduled an engagement session with Anna (at the recommendation of a women I work with) and were immediately impressed. She was extremely easy to work with and made up feel comfortable taking pictures in downtown Chicago (which isn't the easiest task). She delivered beautiful engagement photos and a wonderful slide show that our entire family loved! We booked her and released the other photographer (who would not give us our deposit back - you can see my review on Roger Beck Photography for more detail on this). Anyway, Anna and her husband took wonderful photos on our wedding. They provided a great mix of candid, posed and artistic photographs. We actually have way too many pictures for the day that we LOVE and we cant' decide which ones to print. She made my entire family feel comfortable and even got some beautiful shots of my mom (who has a tendency to look terrible in photos). The only non-positive thing I can think of is that there were some photos that I didn't get like the outside of our church and the outside of the Cultural Center (where we had our reception). In addition, I probably would have gone to a different location between the church and reception to take wedding party pictures. However, these were things I should have asked for or thought about before hand. I still love what they delivered and would highly recommend Anna for any wedding! read more

We were referred to Anna as the preferred photographer for our wedding venue and she was by far, one of our favorite parts of the day. She was absolutely wonderful. What initially drew us in was her ability to photograph candid shots and capture moments that were most important to us. She offered a very reasonable price for a Chicagoland area photographer. She and her husband, Paul, were both in action to photograph our day and their service is incredible. We met with Anna a couple times prior to the wedding day, and she asked us a lot of questions, helped give us ideas of timeline & things to consider about the "flow" which was helpful. You could tell by working with her, she was just as excited as some of our family and friends for the special day. Anna + Paul did an incredible job of helping direct our bridal party and guests for pictures, making things run very smoothly. They made everyone feel comfortable - they knew everyone's names in the bridal party + close family which made things feel very personal and she sent pictures within two weeks of our wedding day. What's really special about working with Anna is that we felt that she was just as emotionally invested in our wedding as we were. She had a really bright, authentic demeanor that made her really great to be around for the whole day. That's not something you get with other photographers. Anna & Paul are truly the BEST!! They documented our February 28th wedding. The two of them are real professionals, and they have such a passion for their craft. Anna has such an amazing eye for the right settings and back drop to take pictures. She spent a couple weekends driving around our church area as well as the reception site to find the perfect settings. Anna absolutely got the settings perfect! Being able to have Paul with the guys in the morning was really cool, he was really able to capture some really great moments with all the guys. Anna and her husband photographed our May wedding and I don't think we could have found better photographers. Of our nearly 800 photographs, I don't think we encountered a single "bad" photo. And because of that we are immensely grateful that Anna designed our album for us to review. We changed one photo and it was because I liked the side view of my dress and wanted it included not because of a photo she chose. Not to mention she drove my book out to me after she received it and we got to look at the final product together!
