This is my review from BBB but I'm leaving it on Yelp as well:…read more If I could give the Loan Lawyers team 1000 stars I would. If you're someone who like to nitpick for bad reviews, please do not do this with Loan Lawyers. They are truly best in their class in the work they do. To summarize my situation, I was sued by a very litigious and notoriously scummy creditor for a sizable amount of money. As this was the first time I've ever been sued, I was incredibly nervous and expecting the worst. The thing is, these creditors hope that you stick your head in the sand and do nothing because then they're awarded the default judgement which is the full debt + court costs and fees. Then, with a judgement, they could garnish your wages and go after your money with a vengeance. I opted to fight back and I chose Loan Lawyers as my counsel. I received tons of mailers of lawyers who said they'd settle or mediate my case to get maybe 60% of the debt negotiated down or help me file for bankruptcy, but Loan Lawyers was the only law office I spoke to who said they'd go on the offensive and get my case completely dismissed for a very reasonable fee. They cited the hundreds of other cases where they've achieved this outcome and I decided to bite the bullet and retain them after checking their reviews and being swayed by their confidence in the result. This is one of those times where what was advertised wasn't too good to be true and they delivered on their promise. My case was completely dismissed with prejudice and the debt gone for good. This was my largest personal debt and for a legal fee a 10th of the amount of my debt, I had it completely erased. In that respect, this lawsuit actually turned out to be a blessing and I'm so incredibly grateful for Loan Lawyers in producing this result for me.

We were double-billed for legal services in July, August, October, and November 2025. One single…read morepartial credit was issued in September 2025; however, an outstanding refund of $2,385 remains owed to us. Our case was fully resolved in November 2025, and all required payments were made in full. No balance is owed to the firm. Since September 2025, both my husband and I have made repeated written and phone attempts to resolve this billing issue. After the September credit was applied, no further responses were provided regarding the remaining balance, even after continued follow-up. While we have received occasional, brief communication related to our case (while it was still open), all inquiries specifically regarding the refund have gone unanswered. Multiple voicemail messages and emails have been sent over several months without return contact. We have complete billing records, payment confirmations, and communication logs, including documentation of the credit issued and the subsequent double charges that continued after that point. Now, we are pursuing formal options to recover our outstanding funds, including consultation with other counsel, and filing complaints with the appropriate regulatory and consumer protection authorities. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this firm.

What I especially appreciated was that his website provides helpful forms that can be used for free, making it much easier to understand and take the proper steps. Mr. Johnson didn't just tell me what to do--he explained the process and helped me understand why each step was important. His guidance gave me confidence that I could address my situation properly instead of feeling like my only option was to leave my home. I am very grateful for his time, knowledge, and willingness to help. If you are dealing with a landlord-tenant issue, eviction, I highly recommend contacting Attorney Alexander Patrick Johnson. This firm is a "clown show" and a HUGE disappointment! You will NEVER speak to the same person twice, when you do speak to someone they can't give you a direct answer to any of your questions, and they NEVER return calls unless it's regarding a payment. The fee was absurd for the LACK of communication, professionalism, knowledge and not to mention deadlines that weren't met on THEIR behalf. Representation NEVER showed up to court for the 341 meeting, but no one found it necessary to contact me...mind you it wasn't pro bono!! Don't waste your time here, it's strictly a money grab...RUNNNN!!

Warning Based on My Experience with a Guardian ad Litem…read more I would like to share my experience with a professional who was appointed as the guardian ad litem in my child's case, in the hope that others do not make the same mistake I did. Unfortunately, this individual is far from the impartial and committed representative that a child truly needs during a legal process. Her work was shallow, lacking depth or meaningful investigation. She did not properly analyze the evidence or consider all the relevant aspects of the case. In my situation, she based her assessment almost entirely on interviews with the child's father and his relatives, while completely disregarding my request to have members of my family interviewed. According to her, that information was "irrelevant" and would only lead to unnecessary expenses--despite the fact that I paid for half of all the services she supposedly provided. This guardian did not act as a neutral voice for my child in court. Instead, she repeated the father's claims without scrutiny, showing a clear bias and undermining the integrity of her role. During her visit to the father's home, she interviewed my son in his presence, failing to offer him the privacy and safe space needed to speak openly. As a result, my son was put in an extremely uncomfortable and distressing situation, feeling pressured to accept statements that were not true. Even when she received therapy reports that documented these concerns, she showed little to no interest in the child's position or emotional well-being. In court, her testimony echoed the exact words of the father, rather than offering a balanced and factual perspective. When I suggested that she interview members of my family--just as she had done with the father's--she refused and later described my message as a "nasty email," which I found highly unprofessional and dismissive. This individual did not advocate for the child's best interest, nor did she demonstrate a fair, investigative, or ethical approach. Her role seemed limited to collecting payment and recommending therapy for everyone involved, rather than actively working to understand the dynamics of the case. She was uncommunicative, showed no initiative to investigate thoroughly, and ultimately failed to uphold the responsibilities of a guardian ad litem. It is incredibly disheartening that individuals who carry the title of "professional" can so profoundly mishandle the hopes of parents and the needs of innocent children. We seek justice and protection for our children in court, and we deserve guardians who are ethical, impartial, and truly committed to being the voice of the child. In my experience, this person was none of those things.

My experience with Annette Sanchez was deeply disappointing and frustrating. She proved to be an…read moreunreliable and untrustworthy legal representative. Throughout my case, she failed to communicate effectively, often leaving me without updates or guidance during critical moments. One of the most upsetting aspects of working with her was her complete lack of empathy, especially regarding my son, who is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. It was clear from the beginning that she had no knowledge or experience dealing with children with autism, and she made no effort to understand or accommodate his needs. She Also Lied and stated she to had a daughter on the spectrum when clearly that was a lie. Who lies about their child having special needs it made me feel as she was mocking or not taking my child's disability seriously. She also compared my child to another child on the spectrum and if she had the proper knowledge about autism she would have know. That no 2 children on the spectrum can be compared. Her dismissive attitude toward his condition was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. Additionally, there were serious concerns about a potential conflict of interest that were never properly addressed. Instead of advocating for my family, she seemed far more focused on financial gain than on doing what was right or ethical. If you're looking for a lawyer who is compassionate, reliable, and truly committed to serving your best interests--especially in sensitive family matters--I would strongly advise seeking counsel elsewhere
