Used them for my fathers will. Then when it came time to act they were like ghosts, not responding for weeks. Would not recommend.

The law firm was referred to me for a complicated case. The attorney they assigned would not give us sufficient time and said he had other clients that paid a higher fee to get more of his attention. The attorney did not have the skills to provide accurate information causing us to pay more than necessary to the opposing attorneys. the entire experience was a disaster. Feldman should only be used to assist you in drafting template documents - like Wills or POA. Of course, there are tons of software programs that provide this service. If you are not comfortable using this software, the Feldman is perfect for you. If you have a real problem, then look elsewhere. The Feldman attorneys will just run you around until you are so frustrated that you look elsewhere. They are basically a referral service to help you find a real lawyer to help you solve your issue. Allegedly, the real lawyer will provide you with a discount to help you. I'll start with the positive: a v few employees there genuinely work hard and seem to care -- which, unfortunately, does not extend to most employees there or the solicitors to whom they refer clients. I consulted this firm, and solicitors to whom I was referred by them, on two matters: an assault in 2020, and my divorce and fallout from same, in 2005. In both instances, I spoke, early on, to solicitor there named Pam Goshman, who was consistently disrespectful and dismissive , attempting to justify police misconduct and insisting that "no one will want to waste their time" prosecuting the assault (in which I was the victim). In both cases, I was given a referral, which was treated like some sort of favour when I made a complaint about their handling -- which did me no good. The solicitor working on my divorce made some progress on the case before disappearing; I had to start over, with a different solicitor, and make a complaint to the Committee on Attorney Ethics to recover any of the money I'd paid for his "services." The second outcome was even worse: the solicitor to whom I'd been referred advised me to work with a municipal prosecutor, supposedly to save money (but more likely because he didn't want to "waste his time," either). I finally managed to have a hearing scheduled (summer of 2020, when everything was closed); the matter dragged on for three years; and, finally, the assailant was found not guilty, in part because of the prosecutor's lack of preparation and sloppy effort. read more

I found them to be very knowledgeable trustworthy and much needed support during a tough situation. Why other people would put low ratings is beyond me when my impressions of them and their prices are so good. I have been a Legal Shield member for years and when I learned from an employee at Feldman Kramer & Monaco that my calls were secretly monitored by non-attorneys for "quality control purposes" I was shocked and angered, to put it mildly! My family has called on sensitive matters and to learn that these conversations are not privileged and could be used against the caller in court, I was flabbergasted! Goodbye Feldman Kramer & Monaco and goodbye Legal Shield! Legal Shield was basically an exercise in frustration anyway. It took forever to get a call back and I was constantly shuffled from one attorney to the other and had to explain my case at least 3 or 4 times each time. You would have more success seeing the President in person that getting a letter written by them. I wouldn't let them handle a jaywalking ticket for me! read more

I do not recommend this firm. The lawyer that we dealt with seemed to forget that he worked for us and could never be bothered to return a phone call. There are many hands on attorney's out there this firm is not one of them. read more

I can't say enough nice things about this firm! My husband was being deployed overseas and I needed to get some estate planning documents done within a week. All of the documents were drafted right away and an attorney came to my house to make sure everything was completed the right way before my husband was deployed. Amazing customer service! I'd continued to work with them because they are the lawyers for our union and give us a good rate, and since I made a complaint he has been more attentive and made up the fee that was charged by lowering the fee on the other works. I was also told that he had some personal issues and may have affected his ability to provide excellent service. Either way, I would say that the work has much improved. Anyone thinking about setting up an irrevocable trust in their house should still make sure that they do not have any mtg against the house. I will provide any further update as warranted read more
