The floor made some noise because it's probably old. The only problem was that we arrived on a Sunday after 6pm, and in Boon everything is closed because they are religious. Even the hotel's own restaurant was closed! There was absolutely nothing! Really! The solution we found was, to order food! Thankfully in germany they also have the same food delivery website we have in Holland (takeaway.com/ thuisbezorgd) , so it was easy to find a few places open in Bonn that could deliver. We just used lieferservice.de to have it delivered in our room and the hotel's staff was helpful and handed us forks and plates, etc. That really saved our tummies! I just had to leave this tip here for other travellers that might have the same problem! The hotel also has a restaurant, although we didn't get a chance to try it, it seemed good. The facility also has a spa! And I was very excited about that. I didn't get to use it because we left early the next day, but I saw the spa part of the Hotel and it seemed very good! I've been here at least four times since discovering it. They are welcoming of children, and even give little treats. It's a gorgeous cafe and bakery located in a quaint old part of Bonn with cobblestone walkways and so on nearby. It's quite pink inside and make to look like a cottage country cafe. It has been in this location for over 50 years. They make a lot of cakes here about 80 different types and they have self made chocolates, breads and spreads. They have seating in here for about 10-12 people and they serve sandwiches, cakes, soups and so on. Coffee was quite ok here and the small breakfast I had was also nice. The ladies were very friendly and quick and all in all it was a good experience. Happy to come here again.
