I've been with this doctor for many years now. Great service and super attentive to my needs. Best doctor ever.

I am so glad I found this doctor. She is caring and listens to concerns and takes the time to answer my questions. The office staff are also really nice and helpful and return calls quickly. I have had a really hard time finding an office that was responsive and followed up. Highly recommend! read more

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Feld. I've been ignored by a plethora of doctors for months and she has been the only doctor to actually listen to my symptoms/ pain. Her office has helped me navigate the horrors of insurance companies. Her staff is very nice, gets everything done in a timely manner, and actually returns messages! I highly recommend her. read more

Had a great first visit with Dr Feld today. The building was very easy to find (building number seen from street) but with limited parking so get there early. Once in the suite, it was outfitted properly with COVID precautions in place...signs for masks, waiting room socially distanced, multiple hand sanitizer's around. I was greeted by Ana who welcomed me with positive attitude and gave me clear instructions and let me know I'd be called to the back momentarily. I was called back, after waiting approximately 6 minutes, by a nurse practitioner or some equivalent. She took my vitals and weight and told me Dr Feld would be just a few minutes. No more than 5 minutes later I was greeted by Dr Feld who was caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. For the sake of reference, I went in for a check up and a couple of issues that have been going on for quite some time but I've been putting them off. She was very thorough with her questions, knowledgeable on the topics discussed, and no judge mental to the fact I've been putting off getting checked out. Overall I was thoroughly impressed by not just Dr Feld herself but her whole team. If you're looking for a new doctor I'd highly recommend Dr Feld and her team. I can finally say that I think I've found my PCP. read more

I recently established care at this office and I was impressed with the provider. She is forthcoming, thorough, spent time to examine me and hear all my concerns and provide education. As I was a new patient with a complicated family history I appreciated her taking the time. Shout out to her staff, as well. They were kind and accommodating. read more

Refused to get vaccinated as her patient, I told her that I do not discourage anyone from getting the vaccine but I, as a RA patient refuse to get vaccinated. The doctor then asked my son, who is my caregiver and helps wheel me around in my wheelchair...NOT HER PATIENT, if he was vaccinated and when he replied "NO" the doctor YELLED at him, that he was going to KILL ME! I found this to be a disgrace coming from a doctor. I had not seen her since, that was in 2022, and this year I contacted her office and requested that she sign a document to excuse me from jury duty, as she was the last doctor who had last seen me in her office. On August 09, 2024 her assistant kindly scheduled a phone consult for Sept. 05, 2024 which another assistant wanted to CANCEL the day before on Sept. 04, 2024. I was so upset that I did not sleep and contacted her stating that she was the last doctor to have seen me. She expected me to go to another NEW doctor knowing how difficult my pain & RA symptoms are. She did sign a document to have me excused, after I explained that I had waited since August 09, 2024 and the jury excuse was TIME SENSITIVE. Dr. Joy Feld's office sent me notification that she would not meet with me and to go to another physician. So much for doctor's doing "NO HARM" Sadly I find this disturbing and very unprofessional....What has this world come to?? read more

I have been going to Dr. Feld for a very long time. She is very nice and comforting. Dr. Feld is my primary physician as well as she performs the best PAPs ever if there is a such thing. She is very quick and gentle which is extremely important. However, if she runs into any issues or your results need more attention she will refer our to an OB. Her staff is amazing. She does share an office with other doctors but there is no impact. She is associated with Cedars so she is located in the third street towers. We all know parking there is hectic so plan accordingly. I highly recommend Dr. Feld! There is an annual $50.00 admin fee but most Dr are implementing that policy. read more

I've gone to Dr. Feld for over 10 years and I send all my friends to her, who also love her and the office staff. I can always get an appointment, even if it means being squeezed in. The office staff (Anna) is incredible. Dr. Feld is the best doctor I've seen and has helped catch a series of medical issues. If you're looking for an amazing doctor, go to Dr. Feld. read more

Tip for any new patients thinking about going here - be aware that there is a $50 annual fee just for going to see Dr. Feld. This is not reimbursable by insurance or anything. It is simply a fee for the time she and other staff answer questions, your phone calls, etc. Additionally, they do not reimburse for parking so they advise you to park at the Beverly Center. The receptionist was pretty friendly. She was very honest and upfront about the items mentioned above and was able to fit me in on the same day. Reason for my visit - I had called regarding a sinus cold and potential ear infection. Other than that, the visit was the epitome of why people hate going to doctors in the first place. The room I was in seemed outdated, bland, had an old looking phone that was crooked on the wall, nothing exciting. For me personally, my experience when Dr. Feld came in seemed cold. I got a quick welcome for being a new patient but no friendly small chat. I definitely felt like just another patient the entire visit. Not something I want in a doctor. Additionally, it was strange that going into a doctor's office, they didn't even bother to take my temperature to see if I had a fever or not, especially when I went in for a cold and potential ear infection. Additionally, my ears had wax in them that had to be removed, but the method they used could definitely be described as outdated. I've had doctors when I was a child that had better/higher tech equipment to push water into my ears to clean them. Here, they used what can best be described as a large metal syringe where they would insert water from a bucket and then pushed into my ears while I held a plastic cup sort of thing to catch the water. For having such high reviews from others, as well as the cost of the doctor's visit, I definitely expected a lot more. My mistake, I suppose. My only reason for going back here for any other check ups would be because I paid that $50 annual fee already, but other than that, there's really no real incentive for me to go back. I will definitely continue my search for a doctor here in LA who I feel comfortable going back to. Honestly, for my own personal experience here, I feel like giving even 3 stars is generous. read more

I don't know why I waited so long to write a review about Dr. Feld. Maybe subconsciously I didn't want too many people to know about this wonderful doctor because then it would be impossible to get an appointment with her! I've been a patient of Dr. Feld's for 3 1/2 years now and she is the true definition of what a Doctor should be. My mother has worked in the medical field for over 40 years now so I know many doctors, I've seen how practices are run and I've heard the nightmare as well as the good stories. Dr. Feld is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. Every time that I have seen her she has told me what she thinks is probably wrong with me and when the tests come back she is ALWAYS right. Her advice is always on point and I trust her implicitly. More importantly Dr. Feld really cares. She takes the time with you to make sure you understand everything but also that you are okay mentally. When you aren't feeling well you want a doctor not only to cure you but to to care about you. She does. You never feel like just another patient that she has to see during her busy day. In other words her bedside manner is amazing. Her staff is always very pleasant and accommodating and I've never waited passed the time my appointment was scheduled. All of this is very rare to find and when you do find it consider yourself lucky and be very grateful. I know I am. read more

Very practical and no nonsense - great office staff and scheduling is easy; doesn't over test but is thorough. I like her tell it like it is approach thigh some people might need more warm and fuzzy. She worked with my first favorite primary care doctor William Young, MD - a genius doctor and I still miss him. All around a good doctor for a busy professional like me. read more

She's a great doctor, very kind as well as considerate, and cannot forget her amazing knowledge for healing.

I am so grateful to have come across a doctor as remarkable as Dr. Feld! Dr. Feld took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions, and I did not feel rushed at all during my appointment with her-something I have not experienced with other doctors. In addition, she is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Her front office staff are also wonderful. read more

Staff was courteous and quite kind however, I'm a bit dismayed that the office charges a $50 upfront yearly fee for administrative costs - such as form filling, prescriptions and the like. It is not covered by insurance, so no reimbursement or deductible application is allowed. While charging a fee to fill out workman's comp forms is completely reasonable, albeit petty, charging new patients a blanket fee every year for something they may never need, is not. Regardless of how nominal the fee is, nickle and dime'ing patients makes me question a mutual trust foundation. Hesitation is strong. read more

Dr. Feld is an absolute delight. She is friendly, caring, considerate and an all around great doctor. From my first intake appointment, she made me feel incredibly confident that I had found my ideal PCP. I actually left the office excited to have a practice I felt so great about belonging to. Her in-depth knowledge and laid back attitude made me feel at ease right away. What's more, Dr. Feld's office is run by the most wonderful staff. Every touchpoint is a positive experience, from scheduling an appointment to being greeted at the front desk to being shown to a room to getting my stats checked by the nurse practitioner to meeting with Dr. Feld to exiting the office. There isn't a moment that's not enjoyable. I even had a good time getting my blood drawn! The other day was a perfect example of how exemplary Dr. Feld's practice is at accommodating her patients; I had a bad cold and was set to leave the country the following week, and wanted to make sure I was equipped with everything I might need to go overseas. I had another appointment with a dermatologist who happened to be in the same building as Dr. Feld's practice, and figured I'd be proactive and call her office to see if I couldn't schedule a last minute appointment. The receptionist said, "absolutely, come stop in and Dr. Feld will see you - we're typically pretty good about accommodating walk-ins." And within 15 minutes of placing that call, I was in a patient room, getting my temperature taken by a nurse. I was floored that I was able to just walk in like that. I've never had such an exceptionally easy experience at the doctor. Dr. Feld came in and set me at ease about my travels. It really doesn't get better. read more

What can I say, Joy is the best general practitioner I have come across in some time. She is very attentive, has terrific bed side manner and is very knowledge about different aspects of medicine. I've been a patient for two years and absolutely love Dr. Feld. She is very thorough, honest and knowledgeable. She also communicates via email, which was a huge plus for me. Her staff is super friendly and I can always get an appointment right away. I had a very serious condition that needed to be addressed immediately and she called me on a Sunday to discuss it. She is very dedicated to the well being of her patients, which I am eternally grateful for. I have referred my family and friends, and they all love her! Good job, Dr. Feld! read more

I have been a patient with Dr. Feld M.D. for several years now. We chose her to be our primary care provider after research. She is very skilled at diagnosing and has excellent communication skills. Also, the staff is friendly. We have never waited longer than 15 minutes in the lobby. read more

Dr. Feld is awesome. I've never had a problem getting an appointment with her quickly when I needed one, and she's very attentive, funny and knowledgeable. She really listens and on a few occasions I felt she went above and beyond to recommend treatments I wouldn't have thought to ask her about -- she put me on a medication that has significantly improved my anxiety and she also let me know about some genetic testing that I was eligible for based on a family history of cancer. She also is great about e-mailing results of tests and even got on the phone with me to go through some questions I had regarding billing (a simple thing, but doctors I've had in the past wouldn't have done!) Wait times have never been bad at all -- no more than a few minutes to see someone -- and the staff is nice, too. The only real drawbacks are that parking is expensive in the Cedars-Sinai structure (though the Beverly Center is close and cheap), and it's a bit of a drive now that I've moved to Atwater Village. However, not having to deal with the headaches that I've had to with other doctors in the past is well worth the drive for me, especially considering I only go a few times a year for prescription renewal and general check-ups. Also, noting the $50/year fee other people brought up -- she didn't charge me this when I was on an HMO plan, only PPO when I switched last year, and I didn't have to pay a co-pay on top of that (at least the last two times I came in). Overall I think it's a small price to pay for peace of mind and a doctor I genuinely like. read more

Dr. Feld is the best of the best. I have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr Feld is so complete with the exams. Asking lots of questions about how do you feel?, any pains? Sleeping okay? Any angle swelling? What about shortness of breath, dizzy, loss of appetite. Would refer anyone searching for the best internist in the area. I look forward to my appointments.
