Cherokee Health Systems Clinic Review…read more I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this little clinic was! It's a hundred times better than the typical roadside walk-in clinics, where the staff can be rude, the environment feels unclean, and the doctors don't seem to know what they're doing. From the moment we walked in, the friendliness of the entire staff--from the receptionist to the nurses--was outstanding. Everyone was thoughtful, kind, and incredibly welcoming to both myself and my daughter. I was also blown away by the technology they use. We were taken to our room and had a virtual consultation with the doctor, while a nurse checked my vitals in person. The doctor could hear everything in real-time, right from her office--wherever that was! I was seriously impressed. Thank you so much for getting me in without an appointment and for treating us with such kindness. I highly recommend this Cherokee Health Systems clinic--it truly exceeded my expectations.

She would always make sure I had that meds I needed especially when it come to my breathing and retaining fluid. But Jewel Birdwell only cares about money. I should not have to go in or be told to go to another clinic in order to get that meds I need. In only told I have to go in so they get paid. I hate it there and I feel so uncared about in that place. I had a CT scan done through them free yrs ago. Was never told I had a hernia until I went for another ct scan regarding something else. They are chewy negligent there, and they sure don't care about their patients. This is the second time she's done me like this and I was well swelled up and having trouble breathing and it was all over a inhaler. I started to report her last time but I didn't but first thing Monday morning I'm reporting it. They know I have no transportation but tell me to go somewhere else when I was just seen there two weeks ago. It's all about the money. Deborah Allen always phones the meds in I needed so to tell me she can't unless I'm seen is a crock and I have emailed to prove it. Deborah even has on my chart how much this medicine helped me lose fluid and breathe better IDK what it is about her and me but I'm tired of being told I have to come in or go be seen somewhere else when she's my dang doctor. If that's what you wanna call her. I'm taking a stand and I'm reporting this. I feel like I'm being discriminated due to my past and this medicine isn't even narcotic. 8 her the medicine and start breathing better and losing fluid, and she just stops giving it to me. To me that ight a doctor that cares. But I knowi don't have to be seen again in order to get my medication. Nurse only lied to me. I pray God helps me find another doctor cause this place is unreal. And very judgemental. But it's all good cause God sees me and that's all that matters So I recommend if your planning on going there too the 5th avenue location reconsider and try Somewhere else Maybe the Western Ave location or The Faith health clinic. FIRST if you visit expect to wait a MINIMUM of 1-2 hours in the waiting room & an additional hour in the patient room. During my short visit I saw Dr. Bennet for literally 3 minutes & I felt as if he was not listening to me. He just looked at my past medical history and made a diagnosis. During my short lived 2-3 min conversation with him a nurse interrupted my visit for another patient.. He left in the middle of my appointment.. & did not return. He did not tell me what further action would be taken with my condition or give me my prescription. This was my third time seeing him and it will be my last. Each time he seems to be too busy with his next patient and does not value he is with at that moment! He has showed me he does not value me as a patient! I wish I could get my copay back since I basically did not see the doctor I saw the receptionist and the nurse who look my blood pressure. People are paying for your time & care Dr. Bennett.
