Each main dish comes with house salad on the side. You can tell that this restaurant is for local family gathering. They are famous for their pork shoulder dish. We ordered their homemade soups (Horseradish creamy soup and garlic & chive soup - very creative recipe only found at this place :) also ordered spaetzle (Germany egg noodles) with deep fried onions on the top is very interesting dish (one of food must try when visiting Germany. What started as stopping by to try it out, has become a regular meal of the most delicious bacon wrapped dates, chicken croquettes, and patatas bravas or patatas alioli if I'm in a garlicky mood. While parking in the neighborhood can be painful, I know because I have to drive everyday for work, Casa Mendoza is conveniently located a block from the U2/21 Rennweg station, and a couple of blocks from the U3 Maxfeld station it's well worth the walk. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the food is high. I recommend it.

We did a quick stop in Neurmburg when we were on our way to Munich so we only came for a quick…read moreafternoon snack. We ordered 2 bratwurst sandwiches with a side of sauerkraut. The bratwurst was delicious: savory and flavorful. It had a slight char on the outside, and juicy inside. The roll was just as good. The crust was crisp and and inside was soft and pillowy. I especially liked eating it with sauerkraut which balances out the balance out the grease and heaviness of the bratwurst. There's also service was slow as we learned throughout our trip. It's just the norm so don't expect any quick service. Overall, we enjoyed our food very much and would love to go back to try out other items on their menu if we ever end up in Nuremberg in the future.

I drank 3 carafes of water while being ignored. As it got closer to closing and after I had to use the restroom, the manager/server finally made eye contact so I could request my check. If you are black or brown, DO NOT come here. Yoshoku is very close but was completely full when we went. That food looked just as delicious and I suspect won't come with a healthy serving of racism and disrespect.

I've travelled the world and had ramen in all corners, and this place ranks within the top 5 places I've tried. It is right next door to a pho place, and they're run together. We had the gyoza (in a sublime drizzled sauce), the beef spring rolls (drizzled in a lite fish sauce), and the Shoyu ramen, with pork base. Everything was amazing and we would come back here in a second if in Nuremberg again. Supremely delicious!
