This is quite a big barge and seats about 20 people comfortably, offering a great range of cream teas, sandwiches, breakfasts and drinks. A little quaint, traditional barge tea shop. The cups and saucers are just fabulous and the coffee mugs are varied - all adding to the variety and experience of this wonderful place. The tea is served in leaf form so you have your own strainer, which is really cool! I opted for a full breakfast today which was just right! Unfortunately they had ran out of bacon but I got an extra sausage for that! Locally sourced food which was cooked perfectly from the kitchen you can see at the end of the barge. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering their advice and explaining the food options as well. The service was excellent and relaxed. The most important part of finishing the meal is the separation of the bill, especially in a group. However they offered to spilt this and each of us pay separately, this worked great! Overall, this is place is highly recommended for anytime of the day, relaxing on the Thames, in wonderful surroundings, watching the swans swim by.

Well, it was a good thing we did, since we didn't get to go back for afternoon tea... Just as the name suggests, it is located right by the canal. It was very picturesque, peaceful and relaxing. They also have seating upstairs, and had histories on the canal, with photos posted all around the wall. Their cakes looked amazing, but I decided not to order any dessert on this day. Yes I know, a big mistake! Our friend ordered Heavenly Hot Chocolate, and it looked so pretty! We went with Teashop House Blend Tea, and Earl Grey. The young boy who brought the teas (I hear this is a family-run business) was trying to very careful not to mix them up. But the funny thing was, he totally mixed the tea up! LOL. We didn't realize until half way through... I thought the House Blend tea tasted so much like Earl Grey. For lunch, we had Ham, Cheese & Chutney Sandwich and Eggs Benedict. They were both tasty, nice portion, and filling. Our friend went with something healthier, and ordered one of their vegan sandwiches. It is nice to have that option if you want or need vegan dish. We had a nice quick lunch here. It was adorable and cozy. The food was good, not amazing, but good. I think the sweets might be better than the actual food...I will never know, unless I go back! Lesson learned: don't never expect your plan to go just the way you planned them...and have your dessert first!

It was busy, so you could tell that it is a popular spot. It is set on the river that runs through the village so you can enjoy your breakfast while the water slowly flows by you. This area and the cafe are beautiful. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Even though they were very busy, they showed no signs of being annoyed or overwhelmed. They seemed genuinely happy you were there and eager to make sure you were happy with your stay. We ordered the sausage rolls and a Cornish pastry and they were very good. I'm sure there are a lot of amazing restaurants in the place, but you would not go wrong stoping by here to grab a coffee and a bite to eat.

We also got some carrot cake and a piece of Millionaire's Shortbread to-go. We ate them later that afternoon and again: delicious! I suggest going and maybe trying something more interesting than the egg mayo baguette I ordered. While very tasty, they've got loads of other delicious sounding dishes on the menu such as gourmet burgers, free range omelettes and full English breakfasts. My whole family is coming over next year to visit the UK and my husband and I soundly decided that we will be bringing them out to the Station House so they can enjoy a truly English dining experience out in the very picturesque New Forest.

They have a variety of different strength coffee beans to suit your taste, with unique flavours. They use a drip process, where the beans are ground freshly for each cup, then using their drip method ensures a smooth, lingering, wonderful cup of coffee. On display there are freshly made, salads, wraps, sandwiches, an indulgent array of cakes and hand made chocolates. We found having brunch with coffee was so relaxing, as we comfortable settled upstairs, in their large lounge area. Pinnock's has the amazing combination of quaint cottage house with spectacularly modern coffee and food. The coffee here is supplied by Beanberry Coffee a local micro coffee roaster in Woking and specific blends are created for Pinnock's use. Additionally, it's fair to note that this place only serves "drip" or "filter" coffee. They use V60s (for the coffee connoisseur) but a range of Beanberry's blends and single origins, so it makes for a range and variety of coffees to choose from. The food here is also of good note. We had a sausage roll, and a sausage baguette, both were not greasy nor overly salty as some of these usually go. The proprietors are friendly, and the staff attentive. Sit upstairs for a wonderfully cosy living room feel and an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs, the seating is more formal and cafe like. Congrats on their first year alive, and to many more years of good coffee in Surrey please.

I selected the Small Farmhouse breakfast which consisted of sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, mushrooms, baked beans and a slice of toast with butter and jam. My husband selected the Farmhouse breakfast which had the same ingredients but twice as much. Of special note are the sausages which were very meaty and that the breakfast was cooked to perfection with none of the grease that can often be present. They also serve a full range of hot drinks so I was able to select a decaf latte. The menu includes some sandwich-type options and there were a few scones etc. for those who don't have our appetites. Service was fast for us. We arrived soon after they opened so only about 4 tables were already filled, so I cannot speak to service speed when they are busy, but they looked to have plenty of staff on duty. The atmosphere is very friendly with lovely staff who can't do enough for you and clearly enjoy their work. It promotes breastfeeding in the cafe. The only drawback is that the cafe is quite small and narrow and only has little highchairs. It gets very busy on weekends, but if you can get in then it is definitely worth it!
