Things have really declined there. Made appt for 2 people - we requested a woman for both. When we arrived only 1 woman was available. I had to use the man for the first half and it felt like he was tickling my feet- no pressure. The massage piece was done with the masseuse's (term used losely) forearms not hands - not a real massage. I have been here several times. Although the massages are good, the business is poorly run. The last time I made an online reservation, my husband and I came in and were told we had the wrong time. We had to wait an hour. Somehow my time got changed. Tonight, we went went in. Again, I had an online reservation for 5:30, for both of us. We went to check in and the kid at the front desk he said he knew nothing. He is not the owner and he only knows the appointments coming in or calling, not on line and that we could come back at 7:00. What a pretty pathetic way to run a business! read more

This place is one of the worst places for customer service with a subpar massage that didn't help. First of all, I called twice (once to make an appointment, once to change the time) and both times the person on the phone just said "hello" - I thought I had the wrong number since usually businesses say something specific so you know you have the right place. They didn't ask my for my name for the reservation so I am not surprised when we showed up that they seemed surprised we were there- we had to wait 10 minutes and I think they had to call another worker in because once he showed up, we were taken back. This place is NOT set up for a relaxing experience. We had a private room but none of the walls go to the ceiling so you can hear EVERYTHING...we will get to that later. They took us back to the room and didn't say anything. Thankfully there was a sign that said to get ready and use the blanket- well there were no blankets so we used the sheets, but they wanted us to use the bath towels. Would have been nice for them to point this out. Small inconvenience but something they could improve. Now onto the massage...the first 5-10 minutes our massage therapists would NOT stop talking to each other. On and on - who wants to be listening to two people gossip during a relaxing massage? I finally asked if they could be quiet since we were trying to relax and they mostly stopped talking- a 3rd employee tried talking to them at once too from outside the room so definitely another distraction. At one point DURING OUR MASSAGE, a customer came in to ask about a foot massage- the masseuse doing my husband's massage LEFT OUR ROOM to go help this man. She was gone 1-2 minutes- didn't say anything that she was leaving but we could hear her talking to the customer. Who just leaves a massage in the middle of the hour we were paying for?? SO frustrating. And you could hear the other employee heating up food and making noise so definitely not the relaxing hour I was looking for. In terms of the massage, it was meh. My back feels like it has more knots today. My massage therapist mostly used his forearms rather than his hands throughout the massage and spent too much time on my shoulders and never got to my lower back, where I wanted more attention (it would also be nice if they asked about problem areas/areas you want avoided to help the experience) - my husband said his massage was good but just didn't feel relaxed with everything mentioned above. I wish we would have had a better experience as this place is super close to our house & a good price. We will not be back here for a body massage- also for being called feet retreat, they didn't even touch our feet during our massage! I would rather spend a little extra somewhere else and enjoy a relaxing hour that helps my body feel better when I leave. read more

I have gone to this location for many years and now I'm done. I called this evening at 5:00 and asked for Tia. The manager told me ok, come at 6:30. When I got there the manager said sorry, she had another appointment now, (he forgot-a business that does not write down appointments???) but he could give me a massage. I declined. A massage by him previously was rushed and half ass. Then he had the nerve to tell me I could come back at 7:30 for Tia! Frustrating, waiting an hour and half for someone and then being told differently when I got there. This is the SECOND time I have requested someone and when I got there they pulled the switch a roo. Feet Retreat is primarily an excellent foot massage service, but they also offer a full-body massage. The foot massage is a fantastic value at $25 for an hour (I usually leave a $5 tip as well). If you have never had a foot massage you may be surprised to learn that they don't just massage your feet! This is all done through or around your clothing, so wear something loose fitting, empty your pockets and take off your belt. It is a quiet environment, so please whisper when talking to friends or the staff (and by all means turn off your cell phone or leave it in the car). You start face up, on your back, on a comfortable day bed sort of thing. It is in two pieces, with the top long enough for your head to your knees. The bottom part is for your lower legs and feet. The pieces start out separated, with your knees bent and feet on the floor. They bring out a large bucket full of hot water and place your feet in it. They will remain there for ~15 minutes while they work on your upper body. They cover you with a towel so you will stay warm. They start with head, the sides of your face and around your ears (BTW, they will put their fingers in your ears for one of the stretches... surprising if you are not expecting it). Then they reach into the collar opening of your shirt to get your upper back, shoulders and neck. At this point they put a warm cloth over your eyes so you can relax further as they continue. Then they do one arm at a time, starting near the shoulder and working all the way to your fingertips. The it is back to the feet. Your feet come out of the water and are wrapped in towels while resting on the lower half of the day bed. The water is whisked away and your massage continues. After drying your feet they begin a heavenly assault on them...one at a time... rubbing , stretching and squeezing. Then they turn their attentions to your legs for some detailed work on the muscles there. Then it gets really good... they bring out a hot towel and rub your legs and feet with it!. Now it is time to turn over. Your face goes into an opening on the bed. Head, neck, shoulders, the whole length of your back... it all gets careful attention. My favorite part is when they pull up the back of your shirt and apply a hot towel on your mid and lower back. It is really a nice experience. When I am done with this treatment I feel two inches taller and like I am walking on clouds. Another note about the service here: The receptionist noticed that the towels they used had left some white lint on my black shorts. She stopped me, produced a lint roller, and tidied me up before I left. Top notch! read more

I had some back pain from moving the day before so I went to get a foot/back massage. The foot part was fine but the back was pure agony. The lady was so aggressive Even after I told her twice to lighten the pressure. Her fingers and elbows were digging into my muscles. I couldn't wait until it was over. As a replant from Southern California, where there is a massage place on literally every corner (in most places, sometimes even two), thai, feet, full body, etc. this place beats them all in price and value. I go about once a week alternating between feet and full body massage. Feet massage only is super cheap for an hour, full body $55 an hout I think it was, maybe $65 (might have been with my tip). I will give them 3/5 stars only because the price is reasonable and my family had a fantastic experience. First of all, this type of massage, atleast according to how it went for me, is not my type of massage. I am used to a deep tissue relaxing massage. First of all, we (dad and I) walked in and they put warm water under our feet, that felt good. A couple minutes later, a lady came to start working on my dad. I kept lying there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to work on me. As the lady in the front noticed I was just lying there, she ran over and started working on me. Throughout the whole massage I noticed 2 things, 1) she was playing catch up the whole time, trying to keep up with my dad's lady. I felt the massage was more of a "rub" than a "massage." Very nice massage. I got an hour full body massage for $50. It was in a private room. It felt like a high end massage I've done at other spas for half the price. Highly recommend. The atmosphere was relaxing and quite. The gentleman took off my diamond necklace before the massage and laid it on a table. I left there forgetting that he did that.
