Love, love, love Trestle Park. The South Branch of the River Raisin meanders through the park year round. Birds are singing and small wild animals getting a drink of water. During the fall, the leaves turn yellow, orange and red. It's our favorite park in Adrian. The park is a part of the Kiwanis hiking trail that starts at the southern part of Adrian to the town of Tecumseh, MI, about 10 miles away. The part is well maintained. During the winter time, it is covered with several inches of snow. The parking lot is behind the Lenawee County Jail, manned by the Lenawee County Sheriff.

Not a lot of benches and water source is very limited - so please be aware of that. There's alot of entrance points and the trail does go far; on the day i was exploring you had people more riding compared to walking. The Kiwanis Trail is an eight mile paved recreational trail for biking, jogging and walking built…read moreon an old railroad bed between the Michigan cities of Tecumseh and Adrian. The trail runs through beautifully secluded woodlands with plenty of welcomed shade on a hot summer day. As with most "Rails-to-Trails" in this part of the state, the trail runs over mostly flat terrain which my wife and I found perfect for cruising. I also noticed that several sections of the trail had been re-paved since the last time I rode this trail making for some very smooth riding. As the trail enters the college town of Adrian, the surroundings become more urban as the Kiwanis Trail becomes the Riverview Trail in the city proper. In this section, the trail runs through Trestle Park with its historic amphitheater - home of the Adrian City Band. Convenient parking can be found at both trailheads: Trestle Park in Adrian and the intersection of Ives and Green just south of Tecumseh. Today we thoroughly enjoyed riding the full 17 miles back and forth between Tecumseh to Adrian...a 5-star ride all the way.

It is a very nicely fenced rectangle that is separated into two individual dog parks. The small dog park actually has four full-grown trees in it and the large dog park has a twig planted? If they could have just extended that fence out a few more feet they would have had at least two full-grown trees in the big dog park as well as two stumps from the big ones that were in there they cut down? There is a nice water feature right in the dual gated entry area so at least you don't have to take your dog all the way outside of the park to get a drink. Actually putting it in the gated entry area accomplishes two things with one fountain. Both dog parks have two benches inside of them to sit on, the small one has shade of course and the big one has none? They do have cute little painted paw prints on the walk to the front of the dog park! Beach dog park only has one poop bag dispenser and one trash can which goes a long way to explaining all the biological landmines. You park up on the hill and it's a bit of a walk down to the dog park

Different rules for each camper based on if the owner likes you or not. If your vehicle was clean when you arrived it won't be when you leave. Do yourself a favor and just move along and find anywhere else to stay.

We have been here for a couple of years now and we all love it the kids can go play and run around…read moreand the adults can relax. You can't get lost in the trails because evey trail leads back to the main grounds. I can just ride my bike for hours on end and just come back to eat. There are a lot of activities for everybody.

All of the coaches for FCA and Impact are amazing, patient and positive, equipment is always clean and working, and the Corner Park is amazing for little kids. The staff is friendly and helpful, and know most people on a first name basis. I appreciate that everyone takes the time to help.
