I am surprised at the low rating here. I go to a lot of FedEx Ship Centers. I probably drop off packages 2-3 times a week. I have only been to this specific location a few times, but it has always been a good experience. This spot is quick and easy for a drop off and they have packaging available for me to grab if I need it. It never takes more than a few minutes and I am in and out. I have never had an issue with a package shipped from this location. I also like that the location is a little remote and the parking is fenced. It feels safer than some of the surrounding areas and there are no people loitering to worry about. If this location were closer to me, this would be my regular location for sure. *** After writing my review and seeing the glaring discrepancy of the other reviewers (70 reviews and a 1.3 star overall rating) I began reading them to see if I was mistaken but a huge majority of review on this page are just people mad at FED EX in general about something and have nothing to do with this location. They keep making the east coast shipping cutoff earlier and earlier! It used to be 4:45, then 4:30, and now 4:15 (even though the truck leaves at 4:30) Before you know it, it will be 12 noon or even 8 am! It's a big deal for me since it's a long drive in rush hour traffic. No info about these drop off times on the FedEx website. You have to call or go in person and be turned away. That being said, some people who work here are polite and nice and remember frequent customers. I haven't had any other major issues so far. read more

Well, here we are... ANOTHER review about this garbage heap of a shipping center. Anything I have had of value shipped through this facility has been "lost" (stolen). Being so consistent about it, there is nothing you could possibly tell me to convince me that there isn't a systemic issue with employees stealing packages of value, because no company could possibly be so poorly functioning to "accidentally lose" ONLY the valuable items that pass through one particular main facility, and still remain in business. The last two items stolen have been a $200 pair of jeans, and now they have stolen over $400 worth of gear that I ordered from Under Armour for a sporting event that I now can't attend because of these clowns, because not only am I out the money, 4 of the 7 items are not even available for purchase anymore. Everyone who steals from this location and everyone who turns a blind eye, you know exactly where you will end up in the afterlife. Hope you enjoy it. read more

FedEx didn't even wait for me to get to the door when they tried to deliver my package today. The driver just left, meaning that in order for me to pick up my package I had to drive down to their shipping center. The instructions said "after 6pm". I showed up at 6:30 just to be sure since I figured the driver might be slow. No luck. The driver was still out, and wouldn't be back for almost an hour. Right when their office closes. Called their 800 number and was told that my package (with urgently needed medication) was ready for pick up. This was today, Saturday June 12, 2021. I drove the 15 miles, rushing before they closed. The guy behind the counter looked up my tracking number said it's not ready for pick up. I explained my situation and that it was a critically important medication. He could care less. I've never had someone talk to me the way this girl did, she called to tell me that my package needed to be picked up ASAP & that it had tried to be delivered to my house several times... I knew that already & asked her if there was anyway they could ship it to my work, "nah we can't be doin that" she literally talked to me like that!! & then ofcourse when I finally go all the way out there, I knew it was her the second I walked in, she was sooo rude & talked to me like I was 5 yrs old, I'm only asking you because I don't know the answer!! If I knew the answer I'd save myself your rude ass attitude!! As we all know, there isn't an option on Yelp for anything less than "1". But as I recall my conversation with the female that called me to tell me that my package will NOT be arriving on the 9th as scheduled, I would award her a MINUS 99. As I tried to give her the CORRECTED,MISSING information, this flaming B-word with an agenda took absolute JOY in telling me that "Oh NO... the shipper is the only one that can do that. It's going BACK!!!". (Before everyone tries to explain the reason for this policy, I DO understand why this rule is in place... but thank you for wanting to be helpful.) Now, she could have handled that a dozen ways that could have been labeled under "Customer Service". But she didn't choose to do that. Instead, just before she called me, she packed her bags and grabbed her passport for an all-inclusive five minute stay on her very own Power Trip. She got exactly the reaction she was hoping for, too... shame on me. But there were a couple of well-placed 'compliments' for her and our hopefully-recorded-and-monitored phone call. All she had to do was try to help me resolve the problem rather than escalating the situation by refusing to give me some time to contact the shipper (which I did and they are hopeful that they can re-route it back to me with the corrected information and they also gave me a nice discount credited back to my account for my troubles) FedEx needs to look VERY CLOSELY at these reviews for this facility. A lot of us have mentioned a woman... is it the same one? And if so, how does she yet draw breath with which to inflict her job-hater-venom on an unsuspecting, wage-paying public? (I am being overly dramatic with the 'yet draw breath' portion of my rant, but it's just fire for effect... no package-distribution-workers were harmed in the creating of this review) But if it is more than one employee at that same facility... This is the second time the counter person wanted to repackage my shipment. The first time, I just took it to FedEx in Sacramento no questions asked. All I want to do is return a package back to my company via the prepaid mailing label in the very same box FedEx delivered it to me in the first place. Last time it was because the contents shifted ever so slightly inside the box. This time she rejected it for a small tear in the outside box. Had I used brown mailing tape she would have never seen the tear. Well guess what, the Sacramento store had no objection. A reviewer on Google+ also complains about the same person I had to deal with. This place is absolutely horrible!!!! It should be shut down completely..... unprofessional and LIARS!!!! I've had several packages with several issues that have shipped from this fedex office ..... there's no direct number so you jump through hoops..... paid for express shipping 3 separate times and had issues each time ..... inaccurate information where drivers claim to attempt delivery when I have cameras in front and showed no one attempting to deliver anything!!! By the third time the 800 fedex had me driving to pick up my package , meanwhile the shipment place contacted me and said it's on the way to me , while the website updated to attempted delivery!!!! Absolutely horrible ..... made up fictional stories because the packages don't make it on time and the drivers can't make all the routes .... the 800 fedex couldn't get a hold of the facility and guess what ....??? No ones going to reimburse my money for express shipping !!!!! So the customer is out $50 and fedex doesn't care ..... horrible !!! Go to ups or usps stay away from this place ..... this ship center should be shut down .... and I'm going to make sure I call everyday for a complaint against these frauds read more

This place in the worst place to go to do anything. Go somewhere else. I never review but I had to give a review. I walked in with my box and a one year old thinking I would be in and out. I walked in to a rude woman with white hair. Who proceeded to ask me did I know where I was sending it and that she would need my information as well which was fine I just was unsure what to do as she gave no instructions. I asked her did she need me to fill out a form she then says oh yes over there I told her should could have said which she replied sorry. She also made it a point to tell me the name I put and my id had to match what that meant I'm not sure. I filled out my paper and waited as she was doing something else even though I was standing there. Finally she helped me and proceeded to tell me she doesn't know when my package will be there because ground was not picking up so she basically didn't know when it would go out and it may be over a week until my package arrived which is unacceptable. I asked to talk to a manager who assured me it would go out out tomorrow at the latest which I was ok with. Then I went to pay I had a coupon which apparently they've never done there before one of the workers tried to argue with me when I got the coupon at fed ex online they went back to the back for another 5-7 min they finally come back give the discount oh big surprise they do it then only gave me 2 dollars off to which I was upset with and asked why. They couldn't tell me why exactly in the end one of the ladies gave me her employee discount to which I'm appreciative of but she would not have had they done it correctly. This FedEx is conveniently located next to my job so I would always walk right over and drop off packages. All is great, supplies are always stocked and for the most part a few of the ladies from the counter greet you with a smile. But there's always one with a bad look and attitude on her face that spoils it for the rest of them. I understand we all have our bad days. Overall, no problems with shipping out.
