I travel for work and needed a part shipped overnight from Oklahoma. The scheduled delivery time was noon the next day. The part arrived at the Mosinee ship center at 9:00am and they had it delivered to me by 10:30am. I was able to install the part and complete my work ahead of schedule. For the second time in two weeks our packages were delayed for "delivery exception" stating the business was closed or customer was not home...this was untrue both times as we were home both times (in fact outside one of the times claimed) and our security cameras show no FedEx trucks!! I will now be checking with online orders if they use FedEx and opt for other services if available. I don't like being lied to. read more

Not sure why may profile on yelp is for CA. Mosinee Wisconsin fedex is horrible. At least once a month a package being shipped to my home business is delivered somewhere else. I get a text that the package is delivered only to find nothing. Then try and work your way thru their automated "customer service". At least a week later you may get a resolution. I've added the description of my house to my profile as instructed. Which didn't help at all. Is it that hard to match the package address to the address of the fire number sign next to the driveway? For 17 years FedEx has always delivered my packages just fine. Now 5 times in the past 2 months they seem to have forgotten where I live. My packages have been lost, delivered to an address not even close to mine 10 miles away!! Or at the house I haven't lived at for 17 years!! I've called and complained to no avail. Each time they say someone from the Mosinee plant will call me.....I have yet to hear from them?? How can I reach someone and speak to them. When I call the 800 number they tell me they will open a case? How do I get this problem resolved and get my packages???? read more

Horrible customer service. I opened the door and greeted the driver to which they responded quite rudely and unenthusiastically. The driver then dropped my package on the ground right in front of me, said "sorry" in a sharp and disingenuous tone and hurried out the door of my apt. complex. Uh, thanks. You could have just broken the contents of my package, but yeah, just run off. No big deal. If you hate your job so much then quit. There were various breaks/holes in the packaging, but luckily somehow the contents were undamaged. People pay good money for things to be shipped long distances, it's your job to get it there safely. This was the second time I received this package, the first was delivered Ups and badly damaged so obviously I was a little wary of the condition of my order. Take a little care and do your job, people. Maybe you're in the wrong line of work if you think it's ok to treat people's expensive goods like trash. read more

FEDEX - Horrible Experience We were expecting a delivery to from FEDEX and after tracking the package online saw a "Customer not Available or Business Closed" message on the FedEx website. The door tag gave the delivery time, which I know no one knocked (3 dogs, 2 children and wife in family room next to front door). A. 1st Call to FedEx - Placed in IVR loop, no option for live person B. 2nd Call to FedEx - Kept pressing button, transferred to live operator C. CSR - Told me he called the local hub in Mosinee, WI and they agreed to return and deliver package D. Mosinee, WI Hub - Called me 3 minutes later and stated the driver already left the area and had too many pickups to return and do is job which was delivering the package. The FedEx customer service system is designed to be non-customer friendly for example, 1) I only reached a human when calling about a delivery error by pressing random buttons by mistake. 2) I got the FedEx email not from their website but from the Gethuman.com website. My largest issue with this entire situation was the FedEx customer service experience. To be assured by a phone CSR that the driver would return and deliver the package; then being called by the hub supervisor to be told the driver is too busy to do his (or her) job and that phone rep was incorrect; blows me away. My business uses either UPS or USPS for our delivery needs, this only reaffirms why I will never use FedEx. I am sending a draft of this letter to Verizon, it may not to anything but they will know how I feel about the FedEx customer service experience. read more

I left work late and wanted to pick up my package but wasn't going to get to the center until right after they closed at 6. The call center sent the shipping center a message that I was on my way. I got there 6 minutes after they closed and they were kind enough to open their doors and let me pick up my package! Loved the high level of customer service!! read more

Worst shipping center. My package was on the truck for delivery at 10 am. Never showed by 8 pm I track and it says delayed by weather. I am 30 mins away and it was unseasonably sunny and warm. No weather issue at all. I called to get delivery asap this morning so i still had the gift for Christmas and they said only way I get it for Christmas is to come get it. read more

I am a business owner in Wausau and I receive deliveries via FedEx, UPS, and USPS. With the pandemic many businesses change their hours mine was one of them. For the last 2 weeks I have gone back to normal days of open for business. For some reason FedEx is unable to deliver my product in a timely manner which is a problem for my business. I have spoken with our delivery driver and call FedEx and spoke with a customer service rep to have our hours of operation updated in their system. Yet again this morning I received an email at 4:32 a.m. saying my business was closed and they were unable to deliver. What business in the Wausau Area in the service industry is open at 4:32 a.m.? I don't believe they are even making the attempt but I will check my security cameras although I have received no alert of motion on my property. Very disappointed in FedEx! Poor business practice . Also no way to contact a person through your website thru searches on the internet even through my account there is no contact phone number. I am looking into having my vendors switch to UPS or a common carrier rather than continue to deal with these issues read more

I order medication online once every two weeks, and I pay for 2-day FedEx delivery. In the past I've received the package on every day of the week, including weekends. For some reason, FedEx drivers decided to make an extra stop with my package this time around, and it didn't make it to the local distribution center on time to meet my 2-day delivery on Friday....which again, I paid for. I assumed it would be delivered Saturday, today, but when I checked tracking I noticed it was still "delayed". I called customer service and they informed me that it won't be delivered until Monday now. When asked why I was told that it's the local hubs decision on when to deliver these packages. Maybe they didn't have any deliveries in the area today. Wait....what!? A service in which I paid for is subject to the laziness of the local delivery drivers? Hmm....ok. Seems odd and extremely bad for business, but ok. Apparently this is the kind of things you get to deal with in the Mosinee, WI FedEx hub. Bottom line? This is poor customer service. If someone pays for a delivery service then DELIVER IT! Simple! read more

I am stationed out of country and it saddens me how much of a headache getting a simple package to my girlfriend is with this place. They didn't take the door tag that was signed and leave the package and now it's past 3 attempts so it will be returned. Costomer service was rude and no help what's so ever. For the third time this year FedEx has left a package by my garage door. Today I ran it over. I have called and explained that there is no door or window from which you could see the garage doors. There is a wooded area across the street, no houses. You cannot see a package leaning against one of the overhead garage doors from either neighbor's house. Plus, the neighbors are not full time. Anybody going past the house would have a clear, unobstructed view of packages leaning against the garage door. Today's package was flat, so it fell down when the door was opened. I first saw it after I pulled out of the garage and ran it over. FedEx will get a third call tomorrow to hear about their crappy delivery system. I do a lot of online shopping, even for household goods and I NEVER have a problem with UPS. They bring the packages up next to the back door and ring the bell. read more

Horrible customer service. Pay extra for 2 day shipping place the order on Thursday and won't receive until Tuesday. So no big deal it's at the fedex store I'll go grab it. Called said yes it's there you can go pick it up. Get to the store told yes it's there but I'm not able to locate it must be on a container. Well then why im the he** would I pay extra money for 2 day shipping to receive it in 4 days. Not including Sunday. Use UPS their 2 day shipping gets to you in 2 days. I'm the same order I placed the items shipped by ups were here in 2 shipping days. read more

I have had several bad experience with Fedex. Most recently, they left a large package (a vacuum cleaner) outside of my apartment building without ringing my bell, knocking on my door, or anything to indicate they were there. I only found the package when I went out to check on my mail. Anyone could have stolen it and there would have not even been any proof it was delivered. This week, there were 3 notices on my door of attempts to deliver a package. However, when I called FedEx, I was told the 1st time that there was not a "door tag number" as the one left on the notice. The next day, there was another note but with a different apartment number on it. I called FedEx because it was my name on it. They again said the door tag number was not correct and the package was not for me. Today, a third notice was left. I called FedEx and was told that the door tag number was not correct; that there was no package under my name, etc. I found a tracking number from the company that was sending me the package. I again called FedEx and was told that there would be no more attempts to deliver the package as that was the 3rd notice!! I pointed out the errors made on their part and also that common sense would tell them that if they were attempting to deliver the package at the same time every day (which they were), that maybe I was at work or something at that time and to try to make deliveries at different times. The person was very rude; told me that UPS makes mistakes too; and that my only options were to have the package returned to the sender or drive 30+ miles to pick it up myself! I recently had a situation where a package was being delivered on a Saturday and I wasn't home at time of delivery and by the time I got home and realized that they had already stopped at my house, the office was about to close. I called and explained the severity of needing the package that day. The manager went out of his way to make sure I got my package. Absolute superior customer service. Thanks again! read more
