    Reading comprehension

The Albuquerque, New Mexico, Fedex manager and their staff are incompetent. My account clearly reads that any packages requiring a signature must be delivered after 4 pm, so someone can be home to sign for the package. Reading and reading comprehension is essential for any job. I nowv understand why New Mexico Schools rank at the bottom of all 50 states. Clearly that office personnel cannot comprehend reading instructions. This includes the Fedex Resolution Department personnel tell you what they want you to hear, and yet what they told you never happened and you are left at square one. Even after 6 calls and 3 hours of telephone. The organization functions as a shitshow.

Box that the lady rudely said was "torn"
    Angela S.

I had to pick up a package at this location to sign for it. The package was smashed and the lady at the counter was very rude about it. She said that she would mark it as "damaged - torn", when it was really smashed. She was then rude when I picked it up to see how badly it was smashed and loudly and rudely said that I needed to sign for it first. Miraculously, my $1,200 phone was not damaged, but her attitude was uncalled for.

Further information on "National Service Disruption" notice does not show issues for Friday during business hours.

I had a package today saying future delivery requested. I did no such request. I think the driver wanted to skip the stop or something.

Terrible customer service. They act like you are bothering them if you show up in person. Unreliable. FedEx overall is a nightmare.

He actually took the time to place my package in a plastic bag, tied it shut to protect it from the rain , then placed it on my porch.

I frequently buy and sell auto parts on eBay, and many of the items I receive are shipped in similar totes. In fact, I originally received this very tote from UPS when it was used to deliver a transmission to me. I secured the lid with 16 cable straps so there was no way it could open. eBay directed me to the closest UPS store, so I drove there with the tote. At UPS Store #0105, the manager refused to accept my package and insisted that I purchase one of their boxes for $97. After a lengthy discussion, I asked them to provide a written statement confirming their refusal, which they declined to do. I then took the same tote to another UPS location, where it was accepted in less than 30 seconds. For context, the package weighed 51 pounds and qualified as a heavy package. When I explained that UPS accepts plastic totes as shipping containers, I was told they weren't sure if the driver would accept it. So is the issue the material or the size of the tote? Their uncertainty made it clear that they were making decisions without knowing UPS policy. In reality, it seemed they simply didn't want to accept it because of its larger size. Education is key. I strongly recommend that the management ensure staff are properly trained to handle shipments according to UPS policy.

I normally don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience left me so disappointed. I had to send a package out for something I sold. I had a prepaid label. Sure I could've dropped it straight in the drop off but I wanted a receipt to have proof I sent it off in case there's any discrepancies later. The staff was very rude. They refused to help me instead referred me over to the kiosk. The kiosk wasn't scanning my package and wouldn't let me get a receipt. Again I got in line for the person to send me back. I told him it didn't work and so he told me he'd meet me at the kiosk. At that point it was like I was asking him to climb Mount Everest or something because I could tell he didn't like I bothered him to do his job. He met me at the kiosk and basically acted like I was an idiot and did everything on the screen I'd done previously. Afterwards I tried scanning the package. It didn't seem to want to scan at first. Finally it scanned and I got my receipt the guy then took off. Horrible customer service! I'll definitely avoid coming to this location next time I need to send something out since no one there clearly wants to be there. I get better service at Walmart sadly.

Several times Ive had tracking show that a package was delivered to the Los Vigils community box and they werent there. One time 5 packages were tracked on the same day. None showed. The day after all 5 packages showed up. 8 full days after tracking showed they arrived. This has occured more than once. Its not to hard to figure who us stealing the packages or not doing their job is it?

This review is for the UPS Store at 8226 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque. For approximately nine months, I had refrigerated medication shipped to this location as a UPS Access Point. Every shipment was refrigerated, so I reasonably believed temperature-sensitive medications would be handled appropriately. Then one shipment was left unrefrigerated and ruined. An employee acknowledged the issue and documented it. Management had my contact information. No one called. No one apologized. No one followed up. When the replacement shipment arrived, I finally heard from management not to apologize, but to explain that refrigeration is merely a "courtesy" for non-mailbox customers and that I should not expect my medication to be refrigerated unless I pay for a mailbox. So apparently the policy is: refrigerate medication for nine months, never tell the customer it's optional, leave a shipment out and ruin it, then explain afterward that the customer should have somehow known better. Even more impressive was being told that the store bears no responsibility because I didn't pick up the package fast enough. Apparently accepting temperature-sensitive medication and then failing to store it properly is not the issue the customer is. If refrigeration is not guaranteed, customers should be told before packages are accepted, not after a shipment is damaged. Based on my experience, if you have refrigerated medication, choose a different UPS Access Point.

Or at least explain to us so we have options. We didn't know it'll be a problem as we were only given one label, and was told it's an easy drop off for return. I'll change the review from 1 stars to a 4, thanks for taking time to reply and explaining the situation. Original review: We ordered two boxes of diapers that arrived with the wrong size, as two boxes under a single order, so we have to return them, and we confirmed they were delivered by UPS. This UPS store refused to take two boxes for a single return of the order and required that they be combined as a single package. If UPS can deliver 2 separate containers for one order they should be able to accept two separate containers for one return label. Hope the $7 tape we had to buy to tape the boxes together was worth this review.

When I telephoned UPS an associate (I know the name) told me that my mailbox had been deactivated and someone else had the mailbox, regardless of the fact that I had paid for a full three months. Eventually, I received my mail but I was too stressed out during that period which was completely unecessary.
