In addition to operating a storefront, the 3 Rivers staff also regularly coordinate outdoor events and activities that people can sign up for. Naturally some activities are more seasonal than others (looking at you, kayaking!). Others happen year-round, including monthly night hikes in Frick Park. It's a shame this shop is currently so far out of my way, because if I was closer I'd probably stop in more often, even if only to take advantage of their community fireside hours.
