"Alexander" reported that he tried to deliver a package to my house multiple times. However, he only left a notice on my door once. AND, the second time that he reported trying to deliver the package, I was actually sitting in the living room waiting for the delivery. No knock on the door, no doorbell, no truck anywhere near the house, and no notice. So now I am stuck going to a Fed Ex office for the package because Alexander falsified the delivery attempts. read more

As so many others have explained, this is a station which fraudulently labels packages as "request was made to hold package," or "delivery attempted no one home or business closed," when neither are true. This has now happened to me ten times, I have filed six formal complaints- wasted so much of my time and energy. The main 800 fedex number does not help. By the way if you want to reach agent and bypass the automated system just say "file complaint about driver." But the complaint do absolutely no good. The station doesn't answer their phones or ever respond." The main fedex 800 number supervisors simply create a ticket, do nothing, and then close ticket when it is delivered days late. Apparently I am lucky they are delivered at all. This is fraud. Next step- reporting them to the FTC and fedex fraud department. Whomever is doing this- I hope you get some serious karma. read more

Let me also leave a review!! This store seemed to think they should print up their own delivery label instead of using the info on the shippers label. The label Fed Ex at this store printed up was a tiny label with an old address of a place I have not lived for 1.5yrs. The Label from the shipper took up a whole side on the package. The driver did not even pay attention!! I have ordered from this company for the last 7 months and never had a problem and all of a sudden this store screwed up and I had to take a day off work to get my package. I will NEVER use Fed Ex to ship anything EVER! I filed a complaint and I had better get a call from the manager or store owner!! The products I ordered are very expensive and temp sensitive, this is also why I am specific and put the managers office suite number, but no one paid attention!! I have kept the box, the pictures and the documentation! This world is falling apart with their automated systems that only help so much and leave us picking up the pieces of thier mistakes! Just corroborating all the other reviews here. Management at this location needs a make over. Every single one of the dozens of Fedex shipments I've received in the last year have followed the same pattern: stuck at Auburn, WA for at least a week. "Out For Delivery" every day during that week with "Delivery Exceptions" occurring daily. I don't know if it's Fedex as a whole, or just this location, but this service is absolutely terrible. read more

After a longer than average wait for a package, the package was delivered a day past when I was told to expect it but delivered nonetheless by a friendly driver who quickly secured my package in the package box as requested. For the fourth time in a row, a package was delivered or attempted to be delivered to the incorrect address. 3 were to next door (recognized front porch from picture), 4th was when I watched delivery driver start across the street to another house and questioned him on the delivery address. Customer Service number is of no assistance. Immediately as for a supervisor. Then explain the situation and ask for transfer to the local delivery point, C St facility in Auburn, WA. FedEx contracts out all ground deliveries. Employees do not work for FedEx. Herein lies the issue, they are lower paid and no benefits. No skin in the game, not FedEx employee. When FedEx Auburn required case IDs for nearly every package, it's clear to see something is wrong. This is not specific to holidays or poor weather which is understandable -when follow-up estimates are provided-, but a common occurrence anytime of year. Regardless of reasons (everyone's got an excuse), updates from Auburn FedEx are rarely if ever submitted through to FedEx.com, meaning customers are left in the dark unless contacting live customer service representatives directly. I can't imagine this is cost effective for FedEx, nor can I imagine larger businesses are happy when backfilling due to Auburn's poor service. FedEx, please provide adequate staffing or review of this station. To businesses: I actively recommend revisiting FedEx contracts due to ongoing poor service that impacts customer impression of -your- business. read more

Well, if there was a lower rating than 1-star, FedEx would get it from me! From lost/stolen packages, mutilated boxes upon receiving, delays in delivery, misinformation from multiple locations, unprofessional behavior and so on. FedEx has completely lost a large item of mine that I shipped and according to their customer service, it was destroyed prior to delivery. Which makes no sense, since the box contained heavy metal item that are almost indestructible. Another package that I was receiving was at a facility approximately 4 miles from my house for more than a week and shows still there according to today's tracking. Verified this by calling customer representative on the phone and receiving the information they had and confirmed location of package. (In regard to the over the phone customer service, it was frustrating trying to get to a live person, but finally did and they spoke broken English and had noise in the background.) So I went to the location of where the tracking and the phone representative confirmed. Then I was told (rudely) that the package was taken from this facility to another facility 3 days ago in order to be ready for home delivery. Then this person just walked away. So I arrived at the other location (which is further away from the delivery address) to be told that the package is still on the semi-truck and won't be unloaded until the following day. (None of this was listed on the tracking of the package). The rep at this location just said there is no way to get the package at this time even though he claims it was there, but sitting on a truck, for what I assume 3 days since it was only 10 minutes away from the other location it was previously at. To say the least, I will refuse to do business with businesses that use FedEx as a shipping method. UPS and USPS are so much better. Even DHL. How can Amazon (private delivery service) figure out how to deliver products in a reasonable time and have a better tracking system than that of a company specifically there for shipping?!? read more

My package is several days late, and counting. It's supposed to be coming to my home in Seattle but the status permanently says, "Out for delivery" in Auburn and says there's been an "exception" because the customer--me--isn't home, which makes no sense since I don't live in Auburn. When you call FedEx, the automated system is horrible. It absolutely requires the tracking number, and when you put it in the system just tells you the same unhelpful info as the app. And there's no way to speak with a human. If you try to bypass the automation by withholding your tracking number in wait for a person to give it to the systen just routes you to end the call or go back to the beginning. So, effectively, there's no way to report a lost or misrouted package. read more

If you're lucky enough to have a giant package that can't be contained in a mailbox, it's likely to be shipped by FedEx. And if there's no one home to sign for it, it gets stored here: the terminal for Fed Ex Ground. While they're willing to arrange delivery over the phone, sometimes it's just easier to pick it up yourself. Which is sort of an interesting experience compared to the local post office pick up. There's a number of parking spots just outside the walled-off compound that is the FedEx hub. I ended up walking up to a guard station where I was stopped and asked for my tracking number (which fortunately, I had remembered to bring). Delivering the package took 5-10 minutes: I was advised to wait in my car and the guard would come out and tell me when it was ready. It was sort of interesting to watch; the security here rivals a military installation. The grounds are bordered by a barbed wire fence. There was one guard at the gate while another two were seen patrolling the lawn and stopping and inspecting trucks going in and out. When my package was brought to the front gate, I had to show ID and enter through a metal detector to fetch it. After leaving, I wondered if we should be placing FedEx in charge of Homeland Security...... read more

Federal Express Ground - No trespassing! - Shipping Centers Near Me - Auburn, Washington

Pool supply world split my order in to two shipments. The first arrived on Saturday May 11 2019 and a family member saw federal Express walking up walkway to deliver. Pool supply world tried to send a 2nd part of the delivery on May 14th. I was home but federal Express didn't ring bell. I signed the delivery receipt and taped to my door. Federal Express stuck another notice next to the one I already signed and took my package back to a depot over an hour away from my home. The notice said they were returning to vendor. I called federal Express so I could drive to their location an hour away and put in my car. Federal said they would not put package in my car. I just had Radical Prostate surgery Friday and cant lift over 10 pounds for 30 days so I would have to have help putting in the car so I would not injure myself. Federal Express Ground is the Delivery service that doesn't deliver. read more

Fed Ex left a package at my back door. It wasn't addressed to me. It didn't have my address on it. (Actually, it had an address that didn't exist.) To abandon a package because you can't figure out where to deliver it is unconscionable. Contact the customer, tell them the address on the label is non-existent, and charge them an additional fee to deliver to the correct address. But don't abandon it on an unknown doorstep where someone else has to take responsibility for your contracted business. read more

A medication shipment was sent Priority Overnight to a residence. I received notification that it would arrive at noon. At 1:16pm, I phoned to ask where it was. "It'll arrive by end of day". I impressed on CS it needs to be here this afternoon. He put a 'trace' out on it and Kent was supposed to phone me back in an hour. They did not. Back to CS phone bank. Went thru the issue and explained that the medication that is time and temperature sensitive and it needs to be delivered today. Transferred my call to next tier who said that the package never made it off the ramp and is at the airport. Would be delivered tomorrow! I said it needs to be delivered today. Period. Again explained the time and temperature sensitivity. He flagged the 2nd tracer "medical emergency" and said that the delivery center (Kent) would call back in an hr. Did not. 3rd call to CS no update. Saw tracers. Nothing new. "Please give us more time like call back at 6." So, as I explained, administering the meds will be at least 6 hrs late, he repeated the same line. I am so disappointed in this company and their ability to perform the job for which they were paid. They fail to live up to even the abysmal standards that they have set for themselves. read more

I heard a loud bang so I head to the door my kids said someone knocked. So I opened it and saw their "Sorry we Missed you" hang tags I could still hear him walking down the stairs so I tried calling him but He got on his truck and drove off as fast as he can so he doesnt have to take flight of stairs to deliver my 52 lbs and 28 lbs boxes. I waited and made sure I was home. Im sure he can hear someone was home because my kids was playing and watching tv and it was in full blast. I am extremely frustrated with my recent experience when I purchased an appliance from Walmart.com. Not only did the product arrive 3 days late but it arrived banged up. And FedEx could not explain why it was delayed when I spoke to them. It was supposed to have arrived Friday, August 21. I waited and took time off to be here so we could get it installed once it arrived. No call and no show. I called on Saturday to ask if it was to arrive on Saturday. I was told that the Auburn location was closed till Monday. I was so appalled that I was never told about this delay. Online tracking had noted that it had arrived on Friday at 3 a.m., so it was sitting there on Friday morning and Friday night. It never went out. Then, on Monday I called and they told me it was left behind again! The man on the phone (Tom) was nice and he insisted he would deliver it personally that afternoon. It arrived-- but DAMAGED. I don't believe by Tom but by the entire trek from who knows where? China? Now we are arranging for Walmart to pick it up. We don't even want to order online. We decided to go with Glenn at Lowe's in Tukwilla. They know how to handle their products and offer free installation. read more

Not like anyone from Fed Ex reads these posts or even cares for that matter. But in typical Fed Ex fashion, any package that is Fed ex smart post, the USPS is the last leg of delivery. Yet Fed ex holds onto the package anywhere from 3 days to a week before handing it over so the USPS can deliver it. Fed Ex in the Seattle area is staffed by lazy drivers, rude employees and just an air of no one gives a damn. Exactly the same as UPS. read more

Cameras prove they never came to driveway, let alone the door. Two days in a row. The last four days tracking has informed it is in transit and will arrive day of. Obviously, it still has not. I relied on the tracking to schedule a job. I was lied to by customer service by them saying it was in transit, and that the driver would contact me. I would have preferred a truthful ETA because I would have just picked it up from the warehouse. This is not the first or even the fifth terrible experience I have had with Fed Ex Ground. Waiting for my new computer, waiting waiting. So excited to get it. I call, um, they cant tell me if its on the truck or not, what! find it, its $2000!!!! No door tags, My unit is on the 2nd floor, the address on package says 2nd floor, but fedex never bothered to read it, obviously, or was too lazy to go up, 1 flight of stairs, since theres no door tag, I doubt they even got out of the damn truck. So i request it to be held at tukwila kinkos, they tell me, it wont be here till the next day, OK. I call the next day to check, nope, wont arrive till the next day. call edex, its at the klent/auburn location. I go get it instead. Its like just an office, no front desk, weird, got package, but bitched him out about it. Oh and fedex express, in a few buildings over, they front desk girl, super rude, thats too many tracking numbers, you need to go to ground. Like ground is a horrible thing to use. I was expecting a package, in accordance to the tracking number. I saw the FedEx truck drive down my street and then it just pass my house. The driver didn't even attempt to stop. He didn't even slowed down to throw an 'attempted delivery note' towards my house. I made a quick check of the tracking system again, and now it says 'attempted to deliver.' What a load of crap! The driver didn't attempt anything. And to think, I paid extra for overnight shipping. So I called the Fed-Ex office to have them have the driver to do his job and bring me my package. I live in St Louis, Mo. I do not relish posting a poor rating but I feel I did everything possible to have my packages delivered to me, not left on the door step. Our outer door is locked for safety. I called Federal Express yesterday as soon as emails showed my packages had shipped,( with a tracking number) so that I could be present when the delivery was done, because WE DON'T LIVE THERE YET. I asked the receptionist if they could call me before the driver makes delivery... They said yes, it will be done. Packages (2) were set at the door where five other unknown families live, and the good part of St Louis had access to them... No phone call. Luckily I came by within the hour and found them. Wish I could rate zero stars. I worked from home today waiting for an expected package. Waited waited waited - the tracking info said it was on the truck for deliver so I waited still. Nothing. I went to bring the trash cans up from the driveway and noticed something attached to my front door. A door tag? An attempted delivery? But wait - I was at home all day. I didn't jump in the shower quick, I wasn't on the phone and didn't hear my doorbell. I was home all day. My roommate was home all day. My doorbell didn't ring. There was no knock at my door. I call the 800 number and am told how very sorry they are (gawd, I hate call center scripts) and that they can re-delivery on Monday. Except you know what? That package was sent specifically so I would have it prior to a work trip that commences on Sunday night. I offer to pick up the package on Saturday, even if it means a ferry boat ride and a 30 mile drive. No dice - they tell me the facility isn't open on Saturday. I ask if they can get it to San Diego sometime Monday. No, they tell me - they can only deliver to my home and if I am not there on the third attempt, they will return to the sender. I won't be home until Wednesday night. So I'm offering to do their job and pick up the damn package and I'm told I can't even do that. Then they tell me that based on their zone maps the package shouldn't have arrived until Monday anyway and it is actually early. If that is the case, WTH did my tracking number continually say that the package was on schedule for a Friday delivery????? I'm not convinced the driver even rang my doorbell or knocked on the door. I was here all day. Someone else was here all day too. I strongly suspect the driver was in a hurry to finish for the day and simply slapped a door tag on my door because it was quicker than knocking, waiting for someone to answer and sign for the package. I'm beyond frustrated. I paid good money for something to be shipped and delivered and it won't be there on time. What a joke. read more
