I was looking for a new dental clinic because the tools and facility at my old clinic were looking worn out. Not to mention that for years, my doctor would tell me that i would need to redo my old fillings, but it never got addressed, so I sort of questioned their credibility. I've switched over to Feather Touch, and going to the dentist has been great and no longer stressful or scary! I love the location, staff, and how painless the visits have been! Feather Touch is located in Colony Square, so I love how I can grab a bite either before or after my appointment at Politan Row! Best way to reach the office is through the lobby that is located past Moe's that can be seen on the right side before entering Politan Row. Take the elevators on your right to go to the 12th floor and take a left out of the elevator. Office is located around the corner. Once you enter the office, you're greeted by friendly staff. I've had my cleaning and my fillings redone so far and everyone has been terrific from the front desk, dental hygienist, to Dr. Kim. They're super gentle, addresses all your questions, and always check on you to make sure you're comfortable and doing okay. I was little nervous getting my fillings redone today but I was amazed by how quick and painless the visit was! They gave me a bit of laughing gas, and then numbing shot, and some noise cancellation headsets that I connected my music to so that I can jam through the procedure. I can still hear some drilling but didn't feel any pain and was just enjoying the nice view from their office window and enjoyed my music. I still have more re-fillings to get done but judging by how this visit went, I have no worries and truly feel like I've made a great decision in switching over here! Also, I no longer have visible silver filling when I smile! Or as my friend had called it, pirate tooth but you can gather, these fillings were super old and definitely needed rework. Oh and make sure to bring your deck parking ticket to get validated on your way out! They got you covered! Your visit to the dentist is so easy!

Before moving to Atlanta, I was terrified of the dentist. I had never really had a good experience…read morewith one and so I avoided the regular checkups, cleanings, etc... On Jan. 5th, I developed an excruciating pain in one of my teeth. I immediately went home and to my dentist and found out that I needed a root canal. The dentist I was seeing admitted that he had not done a root canal before, but he could probably do it. I said "No way" and started searching for dentists near Atlanta. I quickly came across Mid City Dentistry and noticed the incredible reviews on every forum and decided I would go and get my root canal (which needed to be done ASAP) at Mid City Dentistry. As soon as I called, I could tell why the reviews were so good. Mercury was able to put me at ease after I explained to her how nervous I was about the procedure. I felt confident about the procedure after the phone call. When I went in and met Joscelyne, I could tell that I was in the right hands. She explained the entire procedure to me and was very patient with me despite my many questions. After meeting Dr. Michaels, I realized just how much the dentist can affect the patient's experience. Dr. Michaels again reiterated that the procedure would be fine. He told me how experienced he was with the root canal procedure and made me feel comfortable and right at home. Pretty soon, I was numbed up and watching "I Am Legend" while the procedure was being done. I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure and was comfortable the entire time. In all of my follow-up visits, I have been treated with the exact same professional care. I have also noticed that they know most of their patients by name and always greet them when they come in. They also always offer a water or a juice. For the first time, I feel very comfortable going to see the dentist. I am no longer terrified of dental procedures. I know that when I walk into Mid City Dentistry that I am going to be treated well and that whatever I am having done will be done right. I appreciate Dr. Michaels, and his staff, for providing me with the highest level of professional care.

I'm sharing this review with the hope that it brings more transparency and training to this…read morepractice's approach and serves as a heads-up to first-time patients. During my first visit, I expected a routine cleaning, as is standard at most dental offices. Instead, I paid around $100 for x-rays and a session where the dentist briefly brushed and flossed my teeth, demonstrated a new flossing technique focused on gum health, and measured gum pocket depth. I was then told to follow this routine at home and return in six weeks to assess any changes--no cleaning was performed at that first visit. At the follow-up appointment, I was seen by a different dental hygienist whose overly cheerful and rehearsed demeanor felt disingenuous. While she wasn't overtly rude, the interaction felt hollow and uncomfortable, which added to my unease. During the cleaning, she made a snide comment about my dental habits and then completed the rest of the procedure without much communication. I also noticed an unpleasant personal odor, which was surprising and concerning given the setting. Hygiene and professionalism are especially important in a dental care environment, and this contributed to a sense that standards were not being met. Unfortunately, during this visit, I believe the hygienist injured my gums multiple times due to a careless approach in handling sharp instruments. One area in particular has remained inflamed and possibly infected ever since. There was no review or inspection with the dentist afterward, which I had expected based on past experiences at other dental offices. As I was walked to the checkout counter, the hygienist casually mentioned that I "might need antibiotics" in six months if the issue with my gums didn't resolve -- an issue I am not sure I had walking in to this appointment. I never saw the dentist again during that visit, and no additional guidance or follow-up was provided beyond the flossing and brushing routine recommended weeks earlier. This entire experience left me shaken and disappointed. I have no history of gum issues or needing oral antibiotics, and this visit left me worse off than when I arrived. I haven't felt comfortable speaking up, but I'm sharing this because no one should leave a dental visit with lingering pain or uncertainty about the care they received. I genuinely hope this office takes the opportunity to improve how it communicates services upfront and invests in better training for staff--especially when it comes to patient care, professionalism, and technique. Patients deserve clear communication and quality care that prioritizes their well-being and comfort.

I researched and really liked the "feel" of Atlanta Dental Spa. Their "No Judgement" attitude is what I liked the most. I walked in the front door (BIG step) and Tiara took such great care of me. She is so sweet!! After x-rays and scans, I met with Dr. Gandhi who was very understanding of my fear. He was gentle and explained everything that needed to be done and what those options were. It was scary looking at all that was needed, but they offer sedation dentistry and that's what I did. After a good couple of hours of being "consciously knocked out", Dr. Gandhi, Whitney and Britney got the work done! I left being able to smile showing my teeth for the first time in years! But more so, correcting the things that could affect the rest of my health. After I got home I did NOT have ANY pain which is saying a lot as I had a ton of work done. They said that days 3-4 might be the worst for pain, but there was NONE. And that's taking nothing but ibuprofen. The advancement of dentistry is amazing. More than that, finding a dental office that treats you like family, sees you at your scheduled time, offers you neck warmers, blankets, headphones with your choice of music...but most of all truly cares about your patient experience. I'll keep my mouth healthy at Atlanta Dental Spa-Highlands and Dr. Gandhi is my dental guy going forward! (Also thanks to Tiffany who helped answer my financial questions!)

I can't say enough great things about the staff here…read more Jennifer at the front desk is an absolute joy. She is so friendly and sweet and makes you feel welcome every single time, even when scheduling an appointment over the phone. She is so personable and genuinely gets along with every person who walks through that door. Hygienists are also very friendly and efficient. You know how sometimes, they like to poke with sharp objects at your gums and you start to wince, bleed, and all that? I haven't had many issues with that here. They are up to date on all the modern tools and technology. It really is amazing how thorough and great they are. Now, unfortunately, I like to talk, but with tools in my mouth, I can't really hold a conversation. Just lots of "uh huh! and uh uhs" lol Lastly, Dr. Hill is fantastic. He will listen to your concerns and provide whatever options he thinks is best for your situation. He is patient with his patients, as I can attest (story time below). Oh yea, the office got a MAJOR upgrade. They expanded their office and is sooo nice, modern, and spacious now. So when you exit the elevator, make sure you go left instead of right. The waiting area has PLENTY of room now. It's incredible. - Story time? Okay, I went through the process of sure smile aligners. They are very thorough and will show you what your teeth will look like at the end of the process. You will also be able to get refinements at the end if you are not completely satisfied with your smile. They will walk you through what to expect every step of the way and will happily answer any and all questions. Well since we were in the pandemic, I figured, most people won't be gathering for dinners, and most people won't see my smile throughout the process, unless it's on a zoom call or face time. Perfect time to get these right? 10/10 do not regret my decision at all. I finished earlier this year, refinements included. Compared to what it was before, I freakin LOVE my smile. The end result would make any person happy. And it did. BUT... now that people are getting back to taking group photos, I started to notice some very minor things that made me personally feel self conscious when smiling. It's one tooth and even my bf was like "I think your smile looks great!" He and others don't see what I see. As a designer, I literally deal with making things pixel perfect every day so I notice even the smallest things. It's a blessing and a curse. Even though it's been 3-ish months since I finished, I came in and asked Dr. Hill what my options are. He joked that they work in millimeters so he fully understands and sees what I see. He offered a few solutions, but the one we agreed to was getting more refinements. I appreciate that they didn't groan at me nitpicking over the smallest thing. They were patient with me and I truly appreciate their willingness to make me happy. Jennifer asked me what Dr. Hill is going to do for me and if I'm happy with the solution offered. They genuinely show they care about the people they help. - Closing thoughts: I started coming here when I lived walking distance in Midtown. And even though I now live closer to Decatur, I still make the trip here because they are truly one of the best dentist offices I've experienced. Unless I leave Atlanta, I will continue coming here. The drive is worth every mile.
