Feather touch dental help with an emergency dental issue I had occur this week with urgency, kindness, and knowledge. They were able to get me in same day, source and assess the issue. They talk me through all my options on what was needed to be done and what my insurance covers which I love because they were so detailed I didn't feel lost or confused. I ended need a crown,root canal and a wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Shah was so nice been explaining everything that going to be done and how he was going to do it and they aren't laying when they feather touch! I was looking for a new dental clinic because the tools and facility at my old clinic were looking worn out. Not to mention that for years, my doctor would tell me that i would need to redo my old fillings, but it never got addressed, so I sort of questioned their credibility. I've switched over to Feather Touch, and going to the dentist has been great and no longer stressful or scary! I love the location, staff, and how painless the visits have been! Feather Touch is located in Colony Square, so I love how I can grab a bite either before or after my appointment at Politan Row! Best way to reach the office is through the lobby that is located past Moe's that can be seen on the right side before entering Politan Row. Take the elevators on your right to go to the 12th floor and take a left out of the elevator. Office is located around the corner. Once you enter the office, you're greeted by friendly staff. I've had my cleaning and my fillings redone so far and everyone has been terrific from the front desk, dental hygienist, to Dr. Kim. They're super gentle, addresses all your questions, and always check on you to make sure you're comfortable and doing okay. I was little nervous getting my fillings redone today but I was amazed by how quick and painless the visit was! They gave me a bit of laughing gas, and then numbing shot, and some noise cancellation headsets that I connected my music to so that I can jam through the procedure. I can still hear some drilling but didn't feel any pain and was just enjoying the nice view from their office window and enjoyed my music. I still have more re-fillings to get done but judging by how this visit went, I have no worries and truly feel like I've made a great decision in switching over here! Also, I no longer have visible silver filling when I smile! Or as my friend had called it, pirate tooth but you can gather, these fillings were super old and definitely needed rework. I've been to Feather Touch 3 times in as many months to catch up on dental work I've been putting off. I came here originally for a second opinion and decided to book my first treatment right away. Not only was their treatment plan more conservative, the dental hygienist (Brittany) was extremely informative and walked me through each step of my consultation with in depth knowledge and care. Dr. Shah is extremely kind and put me right at ease. I had three fillings done and felt absolutely no pain. Seriously! He followed up with me that evening to make sure I was feeling ok as well. The staff at the front desk are also amazing at what they do. Everyone you encounter genuinely cares about you, it shows in their top notch customer service and apparent education on the latest happenings in the industry (buh bye scary anesthesia syringes). Practice is no longer about the patients but about the money. It is with great regret that I write this review however, after going here for almost 13 years, the services at this practice (at least the ones provided to both my husband and I) have gone downhill since Doctor Ross left. We will not be returning to this practice. The new dentists are quick to perform procedures that they ASSURE you are covered by your insurance yet, when submitted to the insurance company, the insurance company responds that the PROCEDURE WAS NOT NECESSARY and will not be covered!. Guess what? Now you're on the hook. This would have never happened under Doctor Ross and it's such a shame that this practice has turned into a factory. If a procedure is recommended BE SURE TO GET A SECOND OPINION or, better yet, find another dentist. read more

I'm sorry, but.... 1. It seems that his hands were a bit shaky which scared me 2. His office was the only dental office upstairs w/o a window 3. Was not able to deliver service in a succinct manner - I asked specifically for an approximate quote for invisalign. I already have been told the logistics/details/etc., but each dentist charges a different fee. Most people will then say - oh so you understand concept X about invisalign and you've already gone over concept Y too then? But no, a long speech and no approximate cost. Also, potential cavity found which was great, but didn't need to "prove" to me using pictures. I'm very familiar with the concept and the type of cavity I may have had but he insisted on showing me. 4. People were nice...but product placement for trident at the end by the secretary was a bit strange: "do you like chewing gum? because i know this really great gum that also fights cavities"... "which flavor do you like" 5. Flowers at the end are a nice touch, but also a bit strange if offered to each patient... 6. No follow up print-out of the potential service I may consider with them. Overall, the guy is nice, great and experienced I'm sure. However, I didn't really click with him/his team. I've gone with a different doctor. read more

Dr. Shah is the best dentist I've ever been to. After a not so pleasant experience with another dentist who pulled my wisdom teeth, I get pretty anxious with dentistry in general and especially anesthesia. I really appreciate Dr. Shah's patience and bedside manner. He never rushes the numbing process and tries to be as gentile as possible. He truly does all he can to make me comfortable and checks in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I'm good. Excellent experience. It was my first visit to a dentist in nearly 30 years...so a little trepidation was to be had going into my visit yesterday. However, the staff at Feather Touch were phenomenal; each one friendly, attentive, and willing to answer my numerous questions (considering I hadn't visited a dentist in nearly 3 decades, I had quite a few inquisitions). Each member of their staff was knowledgeable enough to answer each of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Dr. Shah was great. He was friendly, informative, and concisely explained what work was needed to be done. He even had the courtesy to walk my wife and I over to the oral surgeon down the hall to make sure I got my appointment made for the pulling of my wisdom teeth. Another big positive for Dr. Shah and his staff was how patient they were with my wife and I. Jesus, who worked at the front desk, was patient enough to diligently answer our questions even though he needed to leave for an office Christmas party. Plus, he did a great job of getting my wife and I scheduled in for our return visits next month. Janet was the dental hygienist who took a look at my gums and performed my teeth cleaning. She was absolutely awesome. Super friendly, full of energy, and talkative enough to not make my cleaning awkward and uncomfortably silent. She was great...and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. She even took the time to show me the proper flossing technique. A dental rookie like me needs all the help he can get. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at Feather Touch (as if that wasn't obvious from above). If you need dental work done. don't you dare hesitate. I ended up at Donald H. Ross, DDS on accident because my tooth chipped and my current dentist was on vacation. I am slightly paranoid and wanted a prognosis on my tooth. Donald H. Ross, DDS is located in the 100 building of the Colony Square complex. Make sure to bring your parking ticket with you as they will validate. Right away I knew this place would be reputable because they take the time to keep the waiting area tidy and presentable. I introduce myself when I walk in and explain my situation, at which point the receptionist remembers my phone call and makes me fill out some basic information and disclosure forms. This is probably my biggest pet peeve with all dentists and doctors. These forms could be automated because every medical professional asks for the same thing.... anyways back on topic. The hygienist was very professional and friendly. The dentist that helped me was Dr. Neal Shah, DDS, an all-around great dentist that made the whole-process as enjoyable as a dentist can make it. They took an x-ray of my tooth and showed me the damaged tooth that needed to be reconstructed. My options were to do nothing, get a temp fix and have my regular dentist fix it, or have them fix it. It is difficult enough to get a dentist appointment, and since they could fix it the same day I went with them on condition they took my insurance, which they did. Everything went as planned and I hate pain so I asked for extra anesthetic. The best part was that they give you a heated wet towel to wipe your face and a naked brand smoothie when the procedure is complete. This was a very nice gestures after dropping some serious change on my teeth (the price was not more than what other dentists charge; dentists are expensive in general). I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience so far... knock on wood that I don't have too many follow up visits related to this tooth restoration or billing issues that I cannot get resolved quickly. read more

I have been going to Dr. Ross for about three years. And I am on the fence as to what I like and dislike about his practice. + he is very professional and very skilled. I have had several issues with my teeth that were mainly costly but also painful, and he dealt with those in an expert fashion. In fact, he may be the best dentist I have ever had. + the service from Dr. Ross and his staff is superb. He follows up with a call after every treatment and his staff is always charming and very helpful - I feel that he charges a lot. And that he tries to sell me on expensive treatments that I don't always need. - the anesthetics are VERY painful. The actual treatment is always painless, but the route to get there is not. Again, I am no newbee when it comes to dental work, and nowhere has the anesthetics part been this painful So all in all, I am just not sure what to do and if I should continue seeing him. My whole family goes to feathertouch and we are very satisfied with our service. I like the location, I like the staff, and they validate parking! The office is very nice and recently renovated. Rooms are bright and comfortable. Staff is helpful and pleasant. And the Dentists are knowledgeable. They always take extra care with my son, who gets nervous and likes to be informed along the way. I have one complaint however, because I believe it to be unethical. I am writing this review because I review many of my experiences to help others, not for any personal gain. But some offices offer incentives like contests for writing reviews, and I'm pretty sure they don't mean bad reviews. This makes for a slightly biased review and throws off the whole system. Wasted time and a complete waste of a visit. I was a patient who came by to do a consultation on my wisdom teeth a few months ago. The visits are completely covered by my insurance company. However, I only get two a year. Before I came by, I asked what the likelihood would be for me to get them removed, and the attendant told me it would be more than likely. I triple checked with my insurance company to make sure that I would be covered because I was tight on cash at the time. When I arrived, I was immediately told by one of the dentists that they "can't perform the procedure" and to "just go to the other office next door." The "meeting" took two seconds. That would have been completely fine and totally understandable. However, for this several-second meeting, I was still required to PAY the GAP my insurance supposedly didn't cover before I left the office when in fact my plan covered the entire consultation. It was the only cash I had with me. I was met with attitude at the front desk, where I was told they'd just 'reimburse me later.' I called my insurance company right after I left, and was told that this should not have happened and I should have been fine with the plan I was under. I should also add that two-second "meeting" took up one of my only two covered consultations for the entire year - the last of which was spent on the office next door. Here's a few reasons: - Dr. Kim & Dr. Shah are equally at attentive, kind, casual and present -- I've seen them both numerous times and feel very taken care of by them. I left a voicemail on a Friday (when the office is closed) and Dr. Shah called me back immediately from his personal phone as he was in the airport to make sure I was ok. After a filling, Dr. Kim called me to check in the next day to see if I had questions. - Feather Touch goes above & beyond with special touches. Fresh flowers when you check out, smoothies after you've had a procedure and can't eat, warm towels to wipe your face after a cleaning, validating parking fees, and so much more. - I love Zoe as a hygienist - she remembers who I am and is just a joy to be with. Also incredibly smart and good at her job. I've had periodontal issues and she's just been really encouraging and optimistic. - There's a woman who handles billing and finance who's incredible. I was having issues with my insurance and she worked through it with me, made calls herself, and eventually helped us find a better plan. - When we've referred friends, Feather Touch has sent us handwritten notes and movie tickets. I was referred to Dr. Shaw by a friend of mine in Colony Square and decided to try him out. I was absolutely wowed by my dental experience! Dr. Shaw is incredibly professional and caring. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and it's not just a job for him, it's his passion. The office staff is incredibly friendly, not at all stuffy like most doctor/dentist office's. I started going to FeatherTouch in April and started the Invisalign program with Dr. Kim and his team. I finish my program and have been very impressed! My experience has been amazing and I cannot stop recommending both Invisalign and this office to my friends and coworkers! A few things to note: 1) they have early appointments. This is key! I don't have to worry about missing work because of the regular check ins that happen with Invisalign. 2) the staff is so friendly. The other doctors make a point to get to know the patients names even if they don't treat them. The office staff, hygienists, and technicians are awesome. They are friendly and considerate but pay attention to the work they do. 3) great at communicating. I never miss an appointment because of the reminders they send. 4) they validate parking. Enough said! 5) like any medical procedure, things can add up. However, the staff made sure to inform me of any costs in advance, so I knew what to expect. There haven't been any surprises which is huge. They've got my trust. 6) they always offer me flowers when I leave. I've been going to Dr. Ross since 1970. He has successfully dealt with my crooked teeth (I wore braces for nine years as a teen, but my crooked jaw should have been fixed.) Dr. Ross adjusted my teeth and finally my front teeth meet. He and his team have kept me from having serious gum problems. Lots of cleaning by excellent hygienists, different techniques to try, advice and encouragement. Obviously I'm a senior. I have several friends with serious gum disease. Several now go to Dr. Ross. My sons grew up going to Dr. Ross, and they learned to take care of their teeth. One son inherited my crooked jaw. With help and referrals by Dr. Ross, that son got excellent orthodontics and jaw surgery. He is very handsome now. I highly recommend Feathertouch Dental. read more

I recently went to FeatherTouch for a routine cleaning and the staff here is awesome! I initially called to set up an appointment and they were fully booked for the time slots I was looking for. However, the front desk staff followed up a couple of days later and told me that a time slot opened up so they got me in much earlier than I expected which was great!
