I thought the smell of raw meat and perhaps blood or entrails all over the place would be very unperceptive with the public... and I'm probably right...lol However, Peters Meats is sparkling clean. No smell of raw meat, nor any of the mess or grime associated with a traditional butcher. They have a very healthy selection of Sausages and various cuts, as well as types of meats. There is also a small stand on the side that has samples and Sausage Rolls / Sandwiches for purchase. Brilliant!!

Surprised at the low prices for the and was a little suss.. the staff and most customers were Chinese but they spoke English so was fine. Then I noticed the lamb was from Cowra (a place known for quality lamb) so I started picking a few things. T bones steaks, yes. Lamb leg and cutlets.. yes. Brisket, yes. Beef tendon- sure why not (needs further explanation - next time..). Scotch fillet, yes. What about pork scotch, why not? Pork roast, yes add it on. When I said it might be too much to carry, she offered help to carry to the car and convinced me to buy some chicken wings and breast fillets. So, from having a quick look to $280. But still great value. And they did get a dude from the back to help carry to the car. The biggest challenge was fitting it in the freezer when I got home. Definitely worth checking out for great value, quality and variety. Oh, they threw in some sausages for free and we're very unusual. First tine I had 'Chinese flavoured' sausages.

Full scale butcher and smokehouse resturant. I visited twice in my last 4 days in Australia. I even tried to talk the manager into some breakfast (which they don't currently serve) This is a great place for some properly smoked meats and sides. I spent my Thanksgiving here with a Wing, some Brisket and slaw. So much to choose from and enjoy.

Since its the only other place to buy meat within a few kilometers it does well. Lots to choose from; all kinds of cuts and a variety of meats as well ranging from several types of Beef, Lamb, Pork to Roo Sausages. A very healthy selection. Metatarian heaven...Awesomeness!
