This military surplus store has a wide selection of reasonably priced items, from clothing to books to tactical gear. We are very pleased with the great deals and the knowledgable staff. This is a true surplus store, not a military-themed big box store, meaning many of your purchases help actual veterans who have their items for sale on consignment. They also have a good selection of brand new military-type items. Highly recommend. read more

I shop here I've purchased some things from here when I ask about tactical flashlights the owner pulls out a tazer flashlight and presses the tazer button in my face. I've also asked about a couple styles of knives that I like and he pulls ones im not interested in and waves them around both of these behaviors seem like he is trying to intimidate me. I have ptsd and I also have friends who are veterans with ptsd and this is triggering to me. read more

In this era when price gouging has become de rigueur for retailers - I was pleasantly amazed to find myself checking out the excellent merchandise in this old time army/navy surplus store. As the not so hot Bass Pro has recently bought out Cabelas and those who have experienced the incredible Cabelas retail outlets of the past will be saddened to see that they have cut a wide swath through the supremely tasteful and diverse collections of the world's foremost outfitter (including the disappearance of the bargain cave), it's even more encouraging to see that reasonably priced, friendly military surplus brick and mortar stores still exist. FDL has a super cool collection of bags of all sorts - I finally found my perfect boot bag after years of searching for a very reasonable $15, coveralls, outwear, old time watch caps, and a lot of other stuff in a small space. Highly recommended. read more
