There is no little extra something except ALOT OF HEADACHES with this bank! The customer service is DEPLORABLE, the tellers are rude, unhelpful and definitely wouldn't make it working at a financial institution in a bigger city(can you say SLOW?!?!) AND don't even think about going there for something as simple as having change run through the coin machine, they NEVER want to do it! I have tried 4 or 5 times in over 6 years of being a customer, and NOT ONCE have they been able to run my change while I waited, they always want you to leave it for them to count at THEIR convenience, they claim they're "too busy"! EVEN WHEN THERE ARE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE BANK! It's TRENTON, NOT CHICAGO for goodness sake! Whatever happened to taking care of the customer that is standing in front of you needing service? I'm sure if I had $100,000 in this bank they'd be MORE than happy to run my change ASAP!! And to get an answer to any simple question is totally frustrating, NO ONE ever is there that seems to have the answers! They charge outrageous fees, process debits from customer accounts on "non-business" days but don't put ACH deposits or credits in on those same "non-business" days. They also are EXTREMELY late when it comes to posting any direct deposits, any of my other banks post right after Midnight, Tempo posts usually after 7 am or even later!! But they sure process any debits you may having coming through ASAP after Midnight!!! Anything to be able to sock those overdraft fees to their customers!!!! I ALWAYS triple check my statements, and more than once they have processed a credit as a debit, posted ATM withdrawal mulitple times and if I had not brought it to their attention, I would have just been out the money!!! They may be Trenton's oldest community financial institution, but they are definitely THE WORST as well!! This bank and the way they treat their customers can be summed up simply, like everything else in this small town, is backwards and behind the times...you'd be safer & happier keeping your money in a tin can buried in your backyard than having it in an account at Tempo Bank!
