When I walked in I let the staff know I had never surfed before but was wanting to learn. The man walked around the store with me to show me all my options and gave some recommendations before letting me look on my own. Once I picked a board out they put the fins on for me right there and had me pick out a leash (separate purchase) and attached it for me in the store. With my purchase they also provided a little bag with wax, stickers, and a key for the fins in case I needed any of it. I ended up spending much more than the board I returned to amazon. However, for everything I bought, I believe it was reasonably priced. I am grateful this happened, as I now feel secure knowing I will be learning on a board that is best for me. Not to mention the fact that this board is so much prettier too! Throughout my whole experience at Surfers Supplies, everyone who helped me was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The staff worked as a team and made sure every customer left with what they needed, without acting like "salesman". I would definitely recommend Surfers Supplies for any of your surfing necessities. I will be back to this shop if and when I ever need something new!

It is geared for families. Most homes are very large with porches. The Boardwalk can be bustling during the tourist season. With lots of activity for young and old alike. My husband and I were here in July several years ago for our Honeymoon. We enjoyed the warm weather and waited in the warm Atlantic Ocean. Now we are here in November ( although it is off season) It is still very beautiful and pristine. This is a dry island (which means alcohol is not sold here )even in restaurants that have bars. My husband and his family have been coming to OC for generations and I understand why it really is beautiful!!
