If I say he's sitting at the bus stop right on the other side of our wall they said well he's not on your property so I can't do anything about it. And it's so bad that at one point I asked the operator "so that means if I beat up somebody in the parking lot and I go stand on the other corner you're not going to arrest me right?" To which I get the response "that's different".... no it's not! A crime is a crime it doesn't matter what type it is, if a guy is trespassed from my store and he comes in my store then they should send out an officer to get the guy.... and while I was discussing it with the dispatcher I watched a police officer in a car drive through my parking lot to the burrito lady parked in a neighboring business and get a free burrito. Like seriously lazies cops I've ever met, Glendale police actually do their job but Phoenix police don't They're as useless as a wet paper bag......

They take visa and MasterCard for credit cards and of course cash or money order. They don't take personalized checks. I parked in the street and walked up. They have 2 hour free parking in front of the station. The people who do the fingerprinting are volunteers so be kind. They were really nice and informative. I would highly recommend and apparently they are the cheapest in town to do fingerprinting. They are usually open only in the mornings so call ahead to check on the times

The 911 operator carefully listened to my concerns, honored my request for a silent response, and clearly communicated the situation to the responding units. Seven officers and several fire department members arrived and handled everything with patience, kindness, and respect, taking time to explain what they were doing and to reassure our family. A special mention to the female officer who gently spoke with my mother and helped calm her down--her empathy made a huge difference. I would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sergeant K. Scheideman for his calm, steady leadership throughout the incident. His demeanor set the tone for the entire team and turned an overwhelming situation into one where we felt truly supported and cared for. I am deeply grateful to the Peoria Police Department and highly commend them for their service.

The Tempe Police Department responded FAST to a terrifying home burglary and assault that my…read moreboyfriend and I recently experienced. We called 911 and a fleet of cops came knocking on our door in less than two minutes. They were quick to react, immediately advised me to get on my Cerberus tracking app, and stayed with me until the thieves were apprehended. They kept asking me if I was ok and when my adrenaline went down an hour later, they even apologized for the brute and cold way they first spoke to me. (I was like, DUDE you guys are doing your job, I'm not offended that you didn't coddle me, LOL. Apologizing was not necessary at all.) Detective Michelle Reyes was so sweet, extremely professional, and gladly answered all my questions about the case afterward. The police technicians did take a really long time to finish fingerprinting my phone and miscellaneous items (they said it'd take 2-3 days... it ended up taking 17 days lol) but hey, I'm just glad they recovered all my stolen items in the first place. I'm honestly so grateful. Despite the terrifying ordeal, I feel safe knowing that the Tempe Police Department is vigilantly watching over my community.

He is extremely aggressive and pushes back on citizens when they ask him to do his job. Numerous reported issues with no action by the police department. Dispatchers are often rude and dismissive, and responding officers mirror those same behaviors. The department could be much better about proactive law enforcement and chasing the unsheltered drug users out of the public parks and walkways

That's minuscule! The MAJOR issue, was "law enforcement" not knowing the LAW. Then the other officer telling her. 'You can't film inside of a store, that's where their rights end'..... so the question is. Y'all are recruiting officers, and putting them on the street to enforce laws they don't even know. Then a sergeant is called, and he thinks making someone uncomfortable is a crime... he should've gotten out, heard the statement, went to the ladies and said, "what they're doing is writhing their constitutional right" and walked off instead of in so many words telling the guy he's weird. Police chief also said, 'they're human and make mistakes' police can't make mistakes, when police make "mistakes" people die, people get hurt, not to mention, people can get wrongfully convicted. I follow things like this because I was lied on by the police in norfolk, Va. never was in trouble before that, but that taught me that no matter how well you do in life, police will harass you and trump up bogus charges just cause, so I have a distain for police in general, they violate our constitutional rights everyday, but we're suppose to follow the law.
