Both sandwiches were superb, and the lobster rolls were significantly less expensive than the small handful of places that you can find them here in Northeast Wisconsin. The place was fairly empty because we got there well after lunch hour, but we were surprised to not see anyone else in there because this place is far better than most other options, including, but not limited to the corporate franchise options like subway, Jimmy John's, firehouse, subs, etc. Nothing beats Local small business owned restaurants like this! The staff was very friendly, and although the place was empty, they were processing a bunch of phone orders and we've watched a bunch of people come through for pick ups. Our sandwiches were prepared within five minutes, and they were absolutely delicious! In their place is a cheap, plastic card - like a credit card - which kids are supposed to load with funds and they tap against the machines to play. Gone is skeeball. Gaming prices have increased, too. Caveman Clobber previously cost $0.25 to play; now it costs $0.40 to play. Gone also are the physical tickets. No more kids being excited watching a machine spit out hundreds of tickets. Nope. Now the kids get a digital credit on their cheap, plastic card. Lame. The pizza hasn't changed. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance. I'd come back again to give it another try because the menu rotates enough where I'm sure I'll land on some better food options next time.
