I reached out on 4/02/2026 through the patient portal and did not receive a response until 4/20/2026 (after prompting them again on the 16th). I requested some labs be revised in April, and the office confirmed that they were, and then my "revised" labs were received in June with no changes. The staff has always been kind when I've had appointments, but kindness is not a substitute for consistent and truthful communication. There is no reason for a private healthcare facility to be so understaffed, or to pay their staff so little, that returning a phone call takes two months.

I have a wonderful PCP in Dr. Alyusuf and have found the medical receptionists, though often busy, to be consistently polite and willing to go the extra mile to resolve any questions I have. Referrals to specialists are also speedy and accurate. I agree that the phone wait for scheduling can be long, though not always, and there is an option to dial right into the clinic, as well. Maybe I've been fortunate so far, but I feel grateful as a new resident of Tigard to find a wonderful doctor and dedicated staff in a clinic conveniently located nearby.

Easy scheduling, helpful reminders (email & text), comprehensive care, and doctors that actually seem to care, remember names, and offer sincere, educated advice. Close to my home and I need an Internal General Medicine Primary Care Dr. So I called them (since new patients cannot schedule on line) and after long hold of twelve minutes the woman said I'll need to call my insurance and confirm their Clinic is covered. She said she would text me their tax id to provide my insurance. Two hours later - no text. So I called back - 20 minutes of hold and then finally I got the Tax Id. Called insurance and all good -they are covered. Called Sellwood back and after about ten minutes of hold I asked to schedule as new patient at Nimbus for primary care Dr. She said they don't have Drs at the Nimbus location. Just one day a week, two RNs. I asked if they will be getting Drs at this location and she didn't know. I asked what would an RN do if my issue is that my cholesterol meds are giving me queasy stomach. She said RN would (probably) refer me to a third party GI. Ok- hmmm. So I asked: if I schedule with one of the two RN choices when is the first opening? She said I don't know until I complete all of your info into our system. I said ok - let's do it. She said I have a patient at my desk - please hold. I held and held and then hung up. (My husband came home asked why I was looking crabby and I just said Don't Ask). Truly I was so happy about this new clinic opening and when I called the first time I asked if accepting new patients and she said yes. Never said a word about no Dr's at location I was I inquiring about. It felt like she was playing with me - putting me through an obstacle course until I finally gave in. Which I did.

I've been under the care of a specialist now for several years. We are working on it but, alas, it is still there. This Dr, did not seem sure what to do in any instance I presented to him. When he was not in, I saw his colleagues which were not much better. I'd like to find something redeeming about this Dr., but I'm sorry don't put yourself through something like this. He's a nice guy and he'll tell you you're too fat but compared to him we all are. Proceed with caution.

On my first appointment I was asked to upload all of my labs for her to go over and discuss on my next visit. I collected them all and got them uploaded right away. When I arrived for my 2nd visit (Jan 21st) she hadn't looked at them. I am a complex case with some pretty wild labs so it does take someone that wants to really dig in help figure me out. The primary issue is my wild hormones, she had some ideas but said she needed to research the correct formulation before suggesting something that may help. She said she would email me the supplement to get, that never came. On January 30th I sent an email letting her know that I didn't receive anything and let her know that the symptoms were getting worse and I was hoping to get the supplement recommendation, no reply. I have my follow up appointment in a few weeks to go over how the supplement that I've never taken is going so I canceled that. My general feeling is that Dr. Tennant isn't a very warm Doctor and I was ok with that but was really hoping she would take the time to dig in to help me, she didn't.

I told him, according to the previous ND i went for free consultation said that I need to consume a bunch of different stuff a week before the taking food sensitivity test otherwise the results won't show whether she is sensitive to the food or not. Dr. K said otherwise. After my daughter took the test, sure enough the only food that shows the results was the food that she eats regularly. Very disappointed. We were not able to identify what food she was sensitive to. Base on this experienced, me and my husband decided not to see him anymore for lack of this knowledge and not sure if he was able to treat my daughter.
