When I first mentioned it both he and Contractor tried to convince me it was the pattern on the railing. I had to get others involved to make sure I wasn't crazy. I then found out Michael wasn't licensed and so contractor said to not have him back. I didn't pay him - fast forward to one year later and there is Rust all over the place. And contractor now claims he's not responsible bc he claims I hired him on my own when reality is he hired them. He went over engineering plans and got city permit. Anyway, I guess he finally got his license but given my experience I would not use him. His prices were also super expensive but I don't know if that's because he was giving a cut to contractor.

It was a simple cut of a scrap slab into thirds, but what could I argue about how long it took when it's free? I called and left a message a week later. No response. First they need to come see it and I told Katie, I needed a new remote because the owner died and there was no remote. She wrote an estimate for 2 guys for 1.5 hrs @ $310/hr And a new remote. They decided the motor didn't work so they ordered a new one, but did not leave the remote. Then when they came back, they brought the new motor but no REMOTE! But did remove the old motor and took it and the new one with them, since they didn't have a REMOTE! When I called Katie, she called me a liar, said I never ordered a remote, even though I can prove it was on the invoice. Then Jeff called to say I hurt her feelings...it's great that he stands by his employees, but not when they are dead wrong, and I can prove it! I will follow up and let you know how this saga ends, but this company did not impress me.

The home was completed in 2015 and we were tired of the heat. Jeff and sub contractor Taryn were on the project. What a difference the insulated cover makes. My general contractor Christian Construction, who did all the renovations on the home, came back after the job was done, and made recommendations. I felt two general contractors were better than one. I often do this with my projects. Taryn returned and corrected the issues. It was very easy to contact Jeff, who is related to the founder. It also helps to have two civil engineers in the family! My family, who resides at the rental, noticed the eave under the new cover, was not painted. It's a small job, but needed.
