Great coffee, incredible sandwiches, lovely staff and even an ice cream counter! Win. This is a lovely little italian cafe, right in the centre of things, perfect for a lunchtime stop-off or a quick post-work treat! There are seats inside and out - lovely for the summer months - but be warned, it is a small cafe, so don't always bank on a seat. That being said,it's right around the corner from the Pavilion Gardens, so you can always grab some lunch to go and eat it there. The salads in here always look amazing but as soon as I tried their filled foccacia breads I couldn't buy anything else. They are packed full of flavour, with herbed, crispy bread and amazing ingredients. I love them!! It's official. Try this place out, if you haven't already - I bet you'll love it too!

The quiche wasn't too bad but it was not fresh at all and the side salad must've been sitting there for who knows how long. The inside is dreadful as well. The staff are the kind of people you'd like to be served by. Super friendly and polite. I wish I had the chance to come here more often. You should definitely visit if you happen to be in Brighton.

My guest and I arrived around 7AM on a Monday morning in February, we had just been walking through the streets of North Laine trying to find something open and we saw the sign of this establishment with wide windows and warm invitation. We came in, saw a nice display of breakfast foods and ordered a Halloumi sandwich for less than 5 pounds to split. We also got a cup of tea, which was nice and fresh. Service was quick as we were the only ones inside, the seating - which looked slightly cramped, was clean. The staff had split the sandwich in a perfect half. Each bite was warm, flavorful and played with bright savory notes. Quite a balanced meal that was filling and cheap! Tips/Takeaways: -Would recommend coming out here if you are in Brighton on an early morning looking for breakfast

It's got great teas And lovely snacks. The coffee is good, tasty and packs a punch, still not as good as ground (obviously) but up there. You HAVE to try the peppered pastrami sandwich! I wouldn't say it's ridiculously slow, but we got drinks 5 - 10 minutes apart which was a bit odd. When they arrived, the coffees were well-received. The sandwich was goats cheese and was really delicious, with very crispy bread and beautiful fillings. The brownie, too, did not disappoint! It has been one of the better brownies I've tasted around Brighton of late - sticky, gooey and just right! It was very chololatey, though, and by no means small so it's a possible sharer, if you don't have quite as much of a sweet tooth as I do. The place itself is dinky, but cosy and comfortable still. The food selection was great for a cafe of this size, and they even catered for vegan and gluten-free diets by the looks of it. There was even...wait for it... free wifi! Hurrah! This is always a bonus, in my books, so it was a rather great find, on top of my delicious lunch. Tucked away in one of the busier lanes, this place could be easy to miss, but next time you're wandering around, keep your eyes peeled and pop in for some cake or a sandwich!

It was pretty close to closing so too late for me to have coffee, we tried the iced tea instead. Plus their iced tea was made from rooibos so caffeine free! I'm really glad we got the tea as it was so refreshing on that hot day! Sweet, floral, with a nice balance of citrus. And of course the barista put in a lot of ice to make it cold. The perfect summer drink if you're looking for something other than coffee. I wish we had room to try their delicious looking cakes and treats, there are so many to choose from and I always love cafes that have a range of food options. The cafe is two floors and we sat upstairs. The window let in a lot of sunlight with two cute painted murals on the back wall framing the window. The place was very quiet and peaceful inside which is not what I had been expecting considering this cafe's location right beside a busy road. It felt like the perfect atmosphere to start the day- very calm and relaxed! There were several juice options available, as I'd hoped, and I went for "The Zinger" - orange, passion fruit and lime (£3.59). Compared to Guarana Bar there are far fewer veggie juice options- most on this menu were fruit based juices, with the occasional vegetable thrown in - so if you're looking for that kind of juice then this might not be the place for you. In terms of juice quality I must say, it was so good! It was fresh, flavourful and just tasted really really amazing! I'll be back to try their other juices for sure, and suggest you do to. The only downside was that there perhaps wasn't enough of it. It felt small and disappeared quickly, not quite matching up to the portion sizes elsewhere, which was a shame!
