This cute little cafe is my latest find in the lanes! I've been here a few times now and been delighted each one.
The food was wonderful here - I had a toasted sandwich and a brownie. The sandwich was goats cheese and was really delicious, with very crispy bread and beautiful fillings. The brownie, too, did not disappoint! It has been one of the better brownies I've tasted around Brighton of late - sticky, gooey and just right! It was very chololatey, though, and by no means small so it's a possible sharer, if you don't have quite as much of a sweet tooth as I do.
The place itself is dinky, but cosy and comfortable still. The food selection was great for a cafe of this size, and they even catered for vegan and gluten-free diets by the looks of it.
There was even...wait for it... free wifi! Hurrah! This is always a bonus, in my books, so it was a rather great find, on top of my delicious lunch.
Tucked away in one of the busier lanes, this place could be easy to miss, but next time you're wandering around, keep your eyes peeled and pop in for some cake or a sandwich! read more
