Sure enough, whenever I am travelling to Montreal, it has become a habit to visit Les Avenues Vaudreuil. Essentially, it's a huge series of box stores in a neighbourhood-like setting. I tend to visit the Gap, and Fruits and Passion the most. The deals are amazing. I have bought a t-shirt at the former for $5 and body wash for $3 at the latter. I tend to dine at Baton Rouge after exercising my credit cards and carrying all my stuff to my car. Oddly enough, I don't eat at Baton Rouge in the GTA. It's either here or in Winnipeg. I love the raspberry red velvet cake at this location. Service is always outstanding, with menus in both official languages. I revisited this place in July and there have been some exciting changes since I was last there. If you're tired of walking around, there's a train that takes you from one end of the shopping plaza to the other. Nice! There are stops along the way. I also like that there's a Sephora. It is normally housed in a huge shopping mall and not an open area full of box stores. JYSK is gone. HomeSense and Marshalls have taken over that corner. The latter grew one me when I found a pretty purple Kipling handbag. On the other end of this shopping plaza is Winners and Forever 21. I loved being in the former. I was there for at least an hour looking at everything. It's one of my favourite places to shop. I love the deals, and how friendly and welcoming staff are. (309)

I have shopped here twice. The first time was in April 2015. I noticed this outlet area while…read moredriving over to Montreal and made a mental note to visit. I revisited the outlet again last September. I am a Gap girl. I like the fact that I can get casual clothing at decent, reduced prices at any Gap outlet. This one is no exception. Both times, I bought some wonderful pieces. I fondly recall getting a jean skirt that had wonderful Lycra stretch to it. I got it for $10! The last time I was there, I got many nice articles of clothing, including a lightweight t-shirt that had various attractions in San Francisco, and a navy blue knitted cardigan with a hoodie. The first time I was there, I recall the male staff member cashing me out and how friendly he was. I bought a lot of items, but didn't break the bank. He gave me $50 worth of Gap cash, which you can redeem a bit later. I redeemed the $50 at the Gap outlet in Ajax. The woman there thought it was cool to see Gap cash entirely in French! I had the same experience the last time I was at the outlet. The woman was friendly and helpful. I love this location. It is my go-to place when I am nearby. (30)

I came in time of no extra sales but everything was generally 30% off compared to other stores. They have a well equipped women's, children's and man section. I saw some maternity items, but no gym clothes. Clearance items were not as many as I expected from other stores. I got some great mans shirts, that I wasnt willing to pay full price for in the store downtown. Other great thing I didnt know about: If you own a special Gap Bag, you get another 15% off on all the items, just ask at the register!

This Giant tigre is pretty small and lacks variety. Not much…read moreselection or groceries .. you find random bargains that you'll not see anywhere else though and it's super random.. you have to literally come inside to find in-store deals. Ex: a yoga mat is around 20-30$ it's 8$ here.. quality related to price is good .. Ambiance: pretty empty inside and lacks finesse. Cleanliness : mediocre lacks a lot of organization probably understaffed. Service: not the greatest.. no one to help you find anything so you're on your own with that. There is also only one cashier open everytime I come so you're stuck waiting a while. The cashiers seem to be stressed out and not too happy which is real shame .. I always smile and thank them for the hard work by scanning my items and thank them for being there today but that doesn't brighten there mood one bit. It's a random store that lacks something more its in a limbo between dollarama and walmart I can't really figure it out and I'm surprised they're still in business but hey I enjoy coming here occasionally to waste time and find bargains ..

Or, did I completely miss it because I wanted to hit the Gap outlet all three times? I have no idea. I got a decent parking spot and went into this Winners. It has an excellent assortment of phone accessories. Part of me wanted to get a purple USB-C cable. I don't have a purple one. I passed, as I do have enough of these cables for my needs. The kitchen gadgets are great, too. I managed to get a pineapple tea infuser. It's silicone, cute, and $3. When I paid for it at the checkout, the nice woman and I had a talk about tea and how stinking cute this tea infuser was. I am pleased that the Winners stores out east have a colourful assortment of Kipling bags. I spotted a pink Kipling backpack at this store. It is rare. I don't need one, but it was nice to take a photo of it. The selection of size 11 shoes at this Winners is impressive. I didn't need another pair of Converse sneakers. I do know that the variety is pretty good. This store has washrooms. They are at the back of the store, on the right when you walk through the main entrance. This Winners is next to Forever 21. Both stores are away from the long, connected set of box stores. (249)

Last Sunday, I stopped by this Roots to browse. I didn't buy anything, as I had recently bought a…read moret-shirt that I had wanted at a similar Roots outlet in Ottawa. This store had cool items, such as a Beaver water tube. It was quirky and fun. I liked the shorts that were there. Sadly, they weren't on sale. It's probably one reason why this Roots store wasn't as fabulous as the last one that I was at. The sale prices weren't amazing on the items that I loved. The shoe section was a bit disappointing. There were simply two styles available. My experience was okay. If there are more discounted items in future, I will be there in a heartbeat! (259)
