I handed her a large amount of cash and she handed me the puppy. I asked for his registration papers and she said she left them at home and would mail them to me. A week later, no papers, so I called her. She had been real busy and didn't have time but would get right on it. Two weeks later, no papers, so I called again only to get another lame excuse. After a year of back and forth texts she never produced the papers, so I filed a suit against her. She has been hiding from the Constable who is trying to serve papers on her, but he swears he will eventually find her. There are others she has promised papers and did not provide them. They're inseparable, ZuZu climbs all over her big brother and he lets her bc he is the sweetest boy. Both of them have wonderful temperaments and have been the best little furbabies for our family. I originally found Dana from Pug Perfection from the AKC website of reputable breeders. Of course I had hesitation reaching out to a person I hadn't met in person about such a big decision, but she had great reviews and appeared to be doing this over 10yrs. From the beginning to when we picked up our pups, everything with Dana was upfront, smooth, and exactly as promised. And a side note, her response time was unreal, I'd send a text and usually get a reply within five minutes. Totally not needed or expected, but definitely appreciated and such a comfort during the process. She also sent us regular pictures, which made the wait so much more exciting and reassuring. Both of our pugs are happy, healthy, and well socialized! It's obvious the love and care she puts into these babies. We could not be happier with how everything went.
