She also did not go into ANY detail of the actual tarot cards she pulled even though I asked multiple times. I could have asked my 3 year old for a reading and gotten more detail. Though the reading itself was somewhat on target, I felt that Debbie Mitchell was more interested in how to remove my 'negative energy' by contacting her in the future. I was completely taken for a ride from a fee perspective- for Tarot she charged me $150 cash up front. Then, she only spent 10 minutes on my cards. Where to start... seemed legit on the outside but inside was a different story. My wife and I walked in and to our left was a parlor with two people sitting on a sofa. A young guy and a woman eating chicken fingers. The guy tells us that prices are listed on a sign in the room. We went in and looked at the pricing. We were discussing which one to do. Palm, psychic or tarot. Not more than 20 seconds and the woman who I'm assuming is Fatima says "Hey guys what's the problem are you going to get something or not" At that point we said "No we're all set" and walked out. We left not due to the pricing but because of the attitude and tone of the woman. Rude and unwelcoming. Based on other reviews it was a good decision to leave. Let me start off by saying when I went to Fatima's studio, it was not my idea to go to a psychic; I got roped in to going with my friend. However, I was greatly surprised. Maria did my reading, and my friend went to Fatima. Being a skeptic at the time, I was very aware of how I reacted to what she said, not trying to give her too much to go on. That being said, she knew my past, my present, my deceased family member's name (an uncommon one at that), and my future. Talking to her was strange, because everything she said was familiar, and because it was true, but also reassuring. At the time, she predicted many things that have already happened now; for example, I was in the middle of a job interview process, which she picked up on immediately, and she said it was the right path for me and would work out. Low and behold, three weeks later, I was offered the position! Again, I am not someone who really believed in this stuff. I take an annual trek to Salem for some pre-Halloween celebration with some friends and we all get readings for fun. The woman we like was booked for the day, so we took a chance on different places. I took my chance here while my friends waited for my endorsement. I thought it would be good, because this place has been a staple in Salem for a long time. The woman didn't really speak English and her son was translating. I don't know what she was speaking, but he was saying more than she actually said. My friends were just about to go for a walk to kill some time, and I was done. It was the same price as all the other places for about half the time and not nearly as entertaining. I went to Fatima's last month with my 14 year old granddaughter. She is the one that really wanted a reading, it was her first. I can't remember the woman's name that we saw, but she was very welcoming. My granddaughter chose a near future reading, I was in the room with them while it was being done. The woman hit on some specific things going on in my granddaughter's life. I chose a tarot reading, this woman asked me if I had two houses! No other psychic has every picked that up before! This reading was so much better than the one I had last year in New Orleans. I will definitely ho back again when I'm in Salem. I would just like to add that "cash only" wasn't mentioned before we began, I didn't find out until after the readings that they did not accept debit/credit cards. I had no intention to ever have children, never get married, never settle down. The physic, I fail to remember her name, told us what was going on with us at the time, and our future. First time doing a palm reading, some things she said were on point others, after reading the reviews, were very similar to what they tell everyone else. Lasted only 5 minutes and they do not give you time to process everything before asking questions. Someone's toddler sat in on the reading and she kept having to stop to tame the child.
