Hired them to add on a master suite to our home for my aging mother. They also remodeled an existing bathroom in my home. They did a beautiful job! Every worker who entered my home - from the carpenters, electricians, roofers, plumbers, to the painters - all super nice and very professional. After my addition was almost completed I hired them to add a new covered porch on the front! It's so beautiful! My project manager, Mat, was fabulous, and our salesman- even the blueprint guy was great! Very happy with the whole experience! I would highly recommend them.

Comment card I returned to them years ago. No response. They now want to act like they had no idea I thought the work was unsatisfactory.

Chris from Main Street was quick to respond and we set up an on-site consult for later in the week. I knew which windows (4 of them) I wanted replaced since an Anderson Renewal guy had come out separately to inspect & provide a quote. Chris from Main Street was extremely kind, helpful, and upfront. I chose them ultimately because of this pleasant meeting, urgency for the replacement, and fair price. He was my only point of contact the whole job which was nice and he was on top of communicating things throughout the whole process. We also have siding being replaced so he communicated with my other contractor to coordinate timing. Pricing was very reasonable compared to Renewal but more expensive than a DIY vinyl install because of the window quality. I wanted a window that would last and was willing to pay more. The Anderson 100 series installed was literally half the cost of what Renewal had quoted me (I believe they quoted the 300 series) but are very high quality windows regardless and we really like them. There are some minor aesthetic defects from the manufacturing of the windows (pictured here) but they can be trimmed off very easily and aren't a concern. The installer Dre came in with Dan as support and they did a beautiful job. I had plenty of notice beforehand and they finished the job exactly as estimated (about 6 hours) after cleaning up very nicely. All in all, I thought Main Street Windows had a competitive price, I appreciated their recommendation for the product, they did a great job communicating, and the windows look great.

This was a custom order, thats why it took so long. My other windows didnt take this long, they were in stock. As you can see from the pictures its is very large. They came with a very large crew and had it done in about 7 hours. This included the custom molding that they cut on site and put on, all we had to do was paint it. The crew was very polite and respectful, they laid out tarps before they even started, and they brought in and used an air compressor that was so quiet i could talk right next to it. Mark and some of the crew had been here before on our previous install. This to me indicates a company who not only keeps employees who do good work, but gives us customers an excellent job. Thank you DeYonker Window My first picture in this review is them just starting to put the trim on, the other one is the finished window, and the last pic is the front window with our side window, and these are all Anderson Windows. They also did the window in our closet on the same day, which was the last window in the house to be replaced.

I selected DeYonker because they have 1 installation crew with significant experience.; they didn't disappoint. With the others, they have multiple crews & you never know who you are going to get. I have to take a few deep breaths before writing this review…read more We had Alexandria Windows come out to replace a few windows two summers ago. The communication and scheduling was lacking, so we were a little frustrated, but it didn't prepare us for the ordeal we were going to be dealing with. We live in an old house, 1920's. My husband expressed this many times, that appropriate measures would have to be taken as we had lead in our old windows and trim. I heard him over the phone as well as in person and he was assured they would take the steps necessary. The day the windows were to be replaced, my kids and I left the house. Two windows were in our daughters room, the other in our guest bedroom. One window was oriented the wrong way and still installed. The worst part was, after removing the old windows, the workers took leaf blowers out to blow debris out into the yard below and all over the rooms. My husband ran upstairs and yelled at them to stop, that once again, there was lead paint involved. They stopped and cleaned up, but not well enough. My husband wiped everything down afterwards, not trusting it was cleaned properly. A few months later, my daughter received test results showing elevated levels of lead in her blood. It was quick and not a single other person in our family had any detectable levels. I was livid. I'm still livid. I don't care that one of our windows is wrong or that it took forever to arrange communication. I'm livid that lead safe practices weren't followed as promised and my child had to pay for it. You can't put a price on that. Thankfully, she's grown, and the situation is under control now, but if you have an old house, I would absolutely not recommend this company. To the owner, if your business gives homeowners your word that things will be done safely and following safe standards, you need to follow through. Safety should be top priority. This could have had a very poor outcome.

Highly recommend Tony and Rob! They are your one stop shop for everything you need!…read more We started with our windows fixed by them. Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

Renewal by Andersen was a great experience overall. Yes, the prices can be a bit on the high side,…read morebut you're getting quality service and quality materials, so it's absolutely worth it. After horrific struggles with Home Depot and Lowe's with multiple failed orders for two entry doors, we switched to Renewal to give them a try. Calling to schedule a consultation appointment was very simple. Within the next week, our Design Consultant Gerard came over and we had a lengthy discussion about our options for both doors and the process it'll take to accomplish the task. Like I said earlier, it costs a good amount of money, but with the current state of steel door backlogs and incompetence of "chain" stores, we just wanted this done. A couple weeks later we had the official measuring tech, Thomas, out to measure the exact dimensions of what we needed, as well as other accessories. A couple months went by while the door was being constructed (yes, sadly Renewal by Andersen cannot escape supply chain difficulties either), but that was okay because we had a good feeling that they'd be correct this time. We were patiently anticipating the outcome of this journey. We received our call of when the installation would be and had our fingers crossed that everything was correct. A man arrived to install both door, which was quite impressive that he was going to do both, all the side work required, as well as removal of the old doors. First thing was first, that I went out and made sure the doors would fit where they were supposed to go and luckily, they were perfect fits! He went through and installed both doors in a few hours, just before the storm hit! We were very impressed with the results (pictures attached) and it was well worth the wait. Bottom line, Renewal By Andersen is more expensive, but their quality, handling of service, and product selection is top of the line, so it's incredibly worth it! Each person through the process was incredibly friendly and the loan company that we were working with after to pay off our work, GreekSky, was simple and easy to use/navigate as well.

We didn't want to go any further with them because I didn't see what I was looking for on the website. A few days later I have 11 voicemails from people at Renewal by Anderson. Frustrated I answer one and I'm connected with Isaac. I told him that it was already determined that they don't have what we want and to please stop calling. He asks what we were looking for and I tell him. He says "oh of course we have that!". At this time I'm seriously doubting him, but whatever. Scheduled a contractor to come out and take a look. Contractor gets to our house. He's friendly, knowledgeable but doesn't agree with what I want. He wants to put a $10k door and sidelight where I have a french door planned. Long story short, they dont have what I was looking for, they're pushy and don't take. I for an answer.

After…read morecontemplating several alternatives for our home we chose to work with Dillman & Upton primarily considering our initial experience with their designer and our perception of their team's quality Beginning with our first conversation, we believed that our designer provided sound advice and guidance, had valuable experience, was knowledgeable, considerate, thorough, and accessible for advice, suggestions and questions. The designer proved out, thankfully. Interactions with the D&U office staff were overall good. A significant surprise was the assignment of both subcontractors other than D&U's usual team. While it is impossible to directly compare our subcontractors with D&U's longstanding team, our's did not have deep, meaningful, value added experience dealing with D&U schematics, overall design and details. This required or significant involvement of our time to interpret details of the blueprint to affect the design goals. We had to call our designer and adjourn major meetings several times for reinforcement of the construction details. Requesting and requiring that some work being redone and changed to conform with a specific design specifications. We had to be our own advocate for a correct job and request repairs for damages to our home (three walls which require our own sanding, priming and repainting). Most disconcerting we had to be our own on-site project manager. A very important aspect we believe dealing with D&U would have provided. Perhaps D&U will say this is over stated and normal construction angst. However, we do not believe it was completed in good faith, as contracted and representative. It was far more tension to get what we paid for wanted or believe was appropriate. In retrospect we believe that the subcontractors should've been highly versed in D&U design goals and had the ability and desire to fully comprehend blueprints and call D&U directly when necessary to discern and clarify. Is this the best craftsmanship that our community offers? Opportunity for improvement include addressing all of the above concerns. Additionally, the price, documentation and communication regarding change orders must be improved. We recognize that some contractors or self-motivated and completed high-quality work, the first time. At our projects conclusion the project, while painful several times, was mostly completed successfully.

This had happened to us several years ago on a double-pane glass doorwall, also with just one pane shattered, ruling out an object hitting the window. The remaining likely causes are sudden temperature change or settling of the house. I checked Yelp and picked out a few window-replacement companies that were highly rated. I called each of them to ask for ballpark estimates. We had previously used the services of Henderson Glass so they were one of my first calls. I got estimates from three companies but, as I closed in on making a decision, our governor closed almost everything down because of Covid-19, including window companies, unless it was a board-up situation. Slow-forward a couple of months, and window companies were allowed to go back to work. So I dusted off my previous list and called several companies again, including Henderson. I ended up requesting a free estimate from another highly-rated company with a lower price range over the phone. They were available to come out within a few days. They showed up and checked out our problem window. They quickly determined that the type of wooden-casement windows that we have are not ones they could work on and the price would be considerably higher. I then contacted Henderson and confirmed that they could handle the type of windows that we have, and we set up an appointment with them. They were able to come out for a free estimate within a few days. They measured and gave me a firm quote, which was a fair price. So we placed the order. I was told it would take 7-10 days for the replacement to be constructed and that they would then call to schedule installation. It did come in less than a week later, and we scheduled an appointment for installation. On that day, they called in advance to tell me they were on their way and then showed up promptly! As with everyone I've dealt with, the installer was professional and polite. He quickly removed the damaged window and took it to his truck to put in the new glass. He reinstalled the window and cleaned up inside and out. I had previously confirmed with their office that they do have a discount for Veterans and told me the total adjusted amount. That was a nice plus. We have used them previously and have always been happy with the results; now add this to those experiences!
