I went to have 2 rear tires replaced and asked them to tighten all my lugs since I noticed my front ones were loose. I was told, they check all the tires no matter what. Several days later, I went to do some work on my car and found one of my lugs was cross-threaded (front), took it back to them to repair, which they did, but before they handed my car over they said "btw we didn't touch your front tires before", I reminded them that they tightened all my lugs per my request and their "normal process". I went home after to work on my car again and had to take that same wheel off....and now I have 2 more lugs that are cross threaded. I know they have been in business for a long time, but I will never take my car back there again.

Long post alert: My…read morecar died two days in a row. Each time I called AAA. The first time, a guy named Cristano came out. He was nice enough until I wouldn't buy a battery for $350! My battery was under warranty until Sept 2025, so why wouldn't he honor it? He was pulling and pushing my battery really hard and I had to tell him to stop b/c I was scared he was going to break something. So he said that b/c my battery wasn't tied down it exempted the warranty. Day 2 Lance came out and he was nice. He kept saying that his machine said the battery was fine. After he gave me a jump, I took my car straight to Pep Boys. Stephanie (Store Mgr) and John (Area Mgr), took great care of me! They set my expectations that it would take an hour to get a reading from the battery. After about 45 minutes, Stephanie came back and said they couldn't get the battery to hold a charge and wanted to keep it overnight. I had told both AAA techs that the battery needed replacing because when I originally replaced the battery, my car was dead dead. My keyfob didn't even work. Pep Boys wasn't just trying to sell me a battery, I had seen this 2 1/2 years earlier when AAA replaced my battery. So just b/c I'm female, doesn't mean I don't know MY CAR! I don't know other cars, just the one I drive. Pep Boys replaced my battery, AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES SINCE! Stephanie John and Brittany are LIFE SAVERS! They sent me the screenshots of what data the old battery was giving. Pep Boys has earned a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE with me!!! THANK YOU JOHN STEPHANIE and BRITTANY!

I must say, my vehicle is relatively new, and it can be a learning curve for sure. I do enjoy the people who have helped me throughout this journey. But, I don't like the false promises they give me, stating my vehicle is ready to be picked up, only to find more issues related to my steering wheel alignment. Please, for the sake of your time and mine, have better communication with your staff members. I cannot consider the staff members working on the vehicle "professional" due to their messing up my steering wheel alignment. Till to this day, my steering wheel is still unaligned. He even allowed his technicians to work 45 minutes after closing to finish my alignment. JT was also very thorough with regard to explaining the service provided & what I would need later. He even matched Tire Kingdoms price! I will definitely let Roosevelt Tire work on my car again. The service was fast and the staff efficient!!! My only complaint was that the bathroom was dirty, otherwise, the facility was decent.
