He created a custom piece my brain never could have imagined. His communication with me was on point, and I could immediately tell he is reliable, truly cares about his craft, and wants to give his clients the best piece possible. He was open to hearing my feedback on the design and placement, but he didn't even need my confirmations- all of his suggestions were spot on. Throughout our session, he explained exactly what he was doing, but I didn't even need it. I trusted him 100%. In addition to that, he's such a unique dude and was both easy and interesting to talk to as he worked. During both the design and outlining process I could quickly see Bass' attention to detail and level of perfectionism. He took the time to place and replace the stencil, piecing each section together to create the perfect whole image. This takes time, but it is 100% worth it. After our session was complete, Bass was more concerned with properly bandaging and sharing aftercare info with me than taking photos for his social media. In the past, I've had other tattooers so focused on getting the perfect image to post on their Insta, and they forgot to making sure I was set up to heal properly afterwards.
