Sami was our server, let me tell she knows what's good, I ordered what she recommended. Our food was truly what I needed after all Asian food lately. I enjoyed then diner atmosphere. Brought me back when I would travel around the south, stopping in at place like this for a .10 cent cup of coffee and hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner. I really want to go back next maybe. Thank you Sami for your recommendations today.

This place looks like such an average little diner...but the food is terrific! We have never had breakfast here and decided to give it a try... Hub ordered the chicken and waffle and I got the Asian fusion avocado toast. Mind you, these are smaller portion breakfast items..which is perfect for us. When hub ordered the waffle she asked him if he wanted hot spicy honey instead of syrup and he agreed to it....game changer on that meal. I had a bit of waffle and chicken with the hot honey and was so jealous I did not order that myself. My avocado toast was very different, but I liked it a lot...not something you would expect out what you might normally get. Wait staff was great and the cook is outstanding....don't let the space fool you....this is the real deal....

Fat Choy is located inside the Eureka Casino. Fat Choy offers something for every budget. It is inexpensive and delicious. At Fat Choy you are getting quantity and quality. They serve a healthy portion of food, and it's actually good food. The steak and eggs are very tasty, and a great value. The environment is quiet and casual. The service is beyond reproach. Tammy Jo is absolutely phenomenal. She is sweet, caring and kind. I so recommend Fat Choy if in the area I highly recommend.

Wednesday 1/15/2025 Came across this spot while using Reddit to find the best and most recommended Las Vegas food. One review pointed out that the short rib grilled cheese was great, so I had to try it. The spot is inside a gambling arcade and looks like a standard diner. I ordered takeout through DoorDash and got the short rib grilled cheese $14 and the great bao flight (pork belly, tofu, duck) $16. - The short rib grilled cheese was decent, but I wish it could've been more portion-wise. The fries were mediocre. - The great bao flight came with a pork belly bao, a tofu bao, and a duck bao. The tofu bao was okay, but I wasn't a fan. The pork belly bao and duck bao were both good, but if I had to choose which was best, I'd say that title belongs to the pork belly bao. Overall, the food was alright, but I wouldn't come back.

Came into town for a weekend get away and wanted Chinese food. My brother and I saw fat chow and said why not. Walked into a casino and the restaurant was inside. Checked out the menu and decided to start with spring rolls and a pork boa both were good. But the pork boa was odd never had that before. Brother ordered a wanton soup and it was huge! I ordered a combo fried rice. My rice was ok nothing special kinda bland and only 3 shrimps. Rice 3 outa 10 Pork boa 4 outa 10 Spring rolls 4 outa 10 The high light of the dinner was the waitress Viola she was cool and stayed talking with us for a bit. She has a good energy very lively.

Located in the Eureka family owned casino, this spot is not to be missed in Vegas! The menu is toted as Asian-American Fare and has a nice variety of choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. They also have daily specials! We opted for the short rib grilled cheese and the daily special fish and chips! Danielle, our waitress, was awesome. Very friendly and super fast service! The food was amazing! The sandwich was so delicious! The short rib is the perfect amount of salty and sweet, and mixed with the cheese and onion jam, it was perfect! The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and the tartar sauce was excellent. We came in to celebrate my husband's mom's life and legacy. This was her favorite spot and he wanted to share it with me. It meant a lot to him to be able to be there tonight and the great customer service was the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back.

Pork Belly Bao Ours were missing peanuts

Fat Choy is an Asian American Diner sort of restaurant located in the Eureka Hotel/Casino by the Strat near the Las Vegas Strip. It's not a fancy place. It looks like an older American Diner. If this restaurant seems familiar to you then you might have seen it on Food Network's Diners Drive Ins and Dives. My husband can eat more than me so he started out by trying the pork belly bao buns. They were pretty darn good. They might have came out missing the crushed peanuts but they still tasted good. Then our main plates came. I had the salmon teriyaki rice bowl. The salmon was slightly over cooked and tasted slightly fishy. I received a generous amount of rice that was embellished with scallions and a teriyaki sauce. I don't know why but it took me back to decades past when I used to eat packaged frozen meals. I didn't enjoy this at all. My husband tried the crispy beef Korean BBQ rice bowl. The beef was not developed in any way with any kind of flavors. But it was prepared like dehydrated beef jerky and was very unpleasant to try to eat. My husband did complain to the waitress about the beef being all dried out and she said just put some sauce on it to moisten it up. The servers seemed nice but the entrees were horrible.

    Raw fries. Bad wings.

The salad was limp and the chicken wings were some weird combination of lemon pepper and buffalo. The wings didn't even look like they were cooked. The place used to be good. Now it's just sad.

It's an American diner with an Asian inspired menu, but in a casino (in the Eureka) which threw me off when my family and I were trying to find where it was. The atmosphere is laid back, with low bassy music and sports on TV screens. Low lighting to match the casino. We were the only group in the restaurant when we arrived around 3pm. Service was great, and our server was helpful with some questions on the menu, and brought us extra condiments. I got the $5 burger and fries special, which was great, especially for the price! Great fries, and the burger was a solid choice, especially with me adding cheese for a dollar extra. However, the Asian fare was more sub-par. My parents got the wonton soup and the lo-mein. Both were heavy on the soy sauce and not much else flavor-wise came through in either of them and were both very one-note dishes. If I drop by next time, I'll stick to the more American side of the menu.

The Wor Wonton Soup ($18) is excellent and incredibly delicious! Soup broth is nicely seasoned and flavorful, has four big portions of pork & shrimp wontons, tender chicken, succulent shrimp, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and carrots, it usually includes beef but I ask to omit, and I love how they're able to accommodate. It's so nice to meet Anthony, he's VP, and came by to my table to check in, asked how everything was, he's very welcoming and personable. I also met the head chef, Eduardo, he was the one who prepared the soup, it's superb! I wish more people know about this fantastic restaurant. Not a lot of people know about this hidden gem. Everyone in the staff is kind and accommodating, including Juan, he gave helpful directions where to find them. The dining area is immaculate, has high ceiling, and table seating can accommodate up to 250 people. This is not a traditional Chinese restaurant. Ace Dragon Wok primarily focus on guest curated experiences, and can customize any order especially for dietary needs for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. The chef is well versed in Pan-Asian inspired cuisines, and everything is customizable to the region of preference, such as Malaysian, Indonesian, Tawainese, Japanese (excluding sushi), Filipino, Thai, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean. This is all based on reservation, a minimum of two hours advance notice is needed before opening to allow the chef adequate time to prepare a customization menu. They also make their own five spice and chili oil. Service from Joaquin, Anthony, and Juan is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! Joaquin recommends to try Malay Curry Lime Salmon, it's a spicy dish but they can modify to make it not spicy which is great!

It was an incredible dining experience, and I would certainly recommend it The restaurant is located in the lovely Cosmopolitan Casino. We had a couple pre-drinks at the Chandelier Bar while we waited for our reservation. When we arrived we only waited a few minutes for them to prepare our table. The restaurant was packed. There's a surprising number of tables/and seating options. The restaurant is elegant and trendy. The lighting is very intimate, but it adds to the ambiance The menu offers a variety of unique and intriguing Asian-American-style delicacies. David Chang is a renowned chef, and everything we tried was incredible. The pork belly bao buns were one of my favorites. We ended up getting a variety of plates and sharing. For drinks they have signature and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options The staff were incredible. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner, and we were well taken care of Some tips: Definitely get a reservation. There is a chance that you will get a table as a walk-in, but not a 100% chance, and you will probably end up waiting a long time I would recommend doing what we did and grab a drink or two nearby while you wait I will say, there probably isn't a bad thing in this menu, but there also isn't much on here for the "picky eater." This is also a fine-dining Vegas experience, so, I wouldn't expect the most inexpensive prices. I wouldn't worry about any of that and just try as much as you can, share, and you will have an amazing time Cheers!!
