We own a 10 needle embroidery machine that has been causing problems and errors for 2 years. Took…read morein for repairs by "experts" in both Phoenix and Seattle, but was to no avail. (Even after they claimed post testing was fine...) Very frustrated with continuing problems, we took the machine into Tom here at Craft Addicts. His efforts proved invaluable, as he fixed the problem, and his wife ensured post test actually was good before returning it to us. A great team and very friendly to deal with!!. THANK YOU!

I heard about this place from word on Facebook. When I went to check it out for myself, I was…read moreshocked; I was expecting a tiny shop packed to the gills with yarn, but this place is spacious, with tons of different notions, yarns, books, sewing machines, and embroidery kits and thread, among other things. The staff are super sweet and kind. As soon as my toddler and I walked in, we were greeted kindly and patiently. The cashier I spoke to was also super friendly despite trying to do the inventory and take care of us. She does an excellent job, since the shop is better stocked than a lot of the big box places I've been to and they don't have the advantage of the self-inventorying point of sales system that a lot of big box places have. I usually order my needles and notions because I like to use one particular brand and was thrilled to see it here. It's really hard to find the interchangeable cables for this brand in the smaller sock lengths I like to use even online and I was excited to see them here. I will definitely be back; this place will easily be my go-to for embroidery floss and needles, in addition to yarns. If they end up getting a spinning section, I will never have to shop online again!

I can't wait to visit this store when I come to Grand Junction!…read more Randomly found this gift shop online and called with an unusual request. Natasha answered. I live in Dallas and found out an immediate family member was "quietly" getting married that very same day!! Natasha, not only helped me pick out a custom gift by a featured artisan, but added a gift card, pretty gift fluff and even delivered it that very same day to help us Congratulate the new bride & groom! Way over and above! Why can't everyone be so helpful. I will remember this kindness always! -the mama

Ok this place rocked! Seasons to follow was jam packed with Christmas time goodies from ornaments…read moreand tree garland to all sort of decorative items that I was on trinket overload. I would assume that this place does, in fact, follow the seasons and being that it is the weekend after Thanksgiving, 'tis the season to shop here for Holiday lovelies. We ended up picking a couple of ornaments for our first tree together ( a penguin on a clothes pin, a baby Jesus "hope" ornament and a snowman with a funny face) and all for only $12. I found this shop to be affordable and friendly ( a dog and kitten were roaming around), someplace I would gladly support on a trip back to Grand Junction.

This is the best place in the area to find any of your Halloween or any 'off season' dress up…read moreneeds. Mad Margaret's is PACKED FULL of anything you could really ever want. From the pre packaged standard gag outfits, to rentals, to handmade garb. They even have a pretty decent sale selection of all of the above. They do take returns but only if it is still in the package!!! So no tag tucking for you. The parking there is kind of awkward, and shady, as you have to back up right into traffic when leaving. It's not a terribly busy street, but I take up two spaces so I have extra room to maneuver around. Take THAT drivers ED teacher! Safety first!

OK - if you need a costume in Grand Junction - this is where you need to be. There is a HUGE…read moreselection of every genre of costume that I can imagine (and some that I couldn't imagine....The Streaker??). There are hats, masks, jewelry, toy swords, footwear, wigs, on and on. The main rooms have what I would have (in my youth) thought of a Woolworth costumes - in a plastic bag. But there are higher end rental costumes that range from Steampunk to vampire to cowboy to George Washington.... everything. If you are going trick or treating or a costume party or a festival or just like to have an alternative look for fun - this is the spot. People that work here know what is where, and they will help you in a very friendly manner or let you browse. Love it!
